MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play a significant role in axon regeneration following spinal cord ***,the functions of numerous miRNAs in axon regeneration within the central nervous system(CNS)remain largely ***,we elucidate the positive role of microRNA-2184(miR-2184)in axon regeneration within zebrafish Mauthner cells(M-cells).The upregulation of miR-2184 in a single M-cell can facilitate axon regeneration,while the specific sponge-induced silencing of miR-2184 leads to impeded *** show that syt3,a downstream target of miR-2184,negatively regulates axon regeneration,and the regeneration suppression modulated by syt3 depends on its binding to Ca2+.Furthermore,pharmacological stimulation of the cAMP/PKA pathway suggests that changes in the readily releasable pool may affect axon *** data indicate that miR-2184 promotes axon regeneration of M-cells within the CNS by modulating the downstream target syt3,providing valuable insights into potential therapeutic strategies.

Background:Minimally invasive surgery is the optimal treatment for *** present study aimed to compare short-and long-term outcomes of laparoscopic and robotic surgery for sporadic benign ***:A retrospective analysis of patients who underwent laparoscopic or robotic surgery for insulinoma at our center between September 2007 and December 2019 was *** demographic,perioperative and postoperative follow-up results were compared between the laparoscopic and robotic ***:A total of 85 patients were enrolled,including 36 with laparoscopic approach and 49 with robotic *** was the preferred surgical ***-nine patients(69.4%)underwent enucleation;among them,26 and 33 patients underwent laparoscopic and robotic surgery,*** enucleation had a lower conversion rate to laparotomy(0 vs.19.2%,P=0.013),shorter operative time(102.0 vs.145.5 min,P=0.008)and shorter postoperative hospital stay(6.0 vs.8.5 d,P=0.002)than laparoscopic *** were no differences between the groups in terms of intraoperative blood loss,the rates of postoperative pancreatic fistula and *** a median follow-up of 65 months,two patients in the laparoscopic group developed a functional recurrence and none of the patients in the robotic group had a ***:Robotic enucleation can reduce the conversion rate to laparotomy and shorten operative time,which might lead to a reduction in postoperative hospital stay.

Rare refractory metals(RRMs) play a significant role in fundamental industries, including electronics,chemical industry, machinery, etc., and future advanced fields, such as aerospace and superconductivity. However,the traditional production processes of RRMs based on high-temperature thermal reduction cannot meet the requirements of low-energy consumption. This dilemma could be addressed efficiently by using a low-temperature electrodeposition strategy in ionic liquids(ILs). This review summarizes a panoramic view of the latest developments on the electrodeposition of RRMs in ILs after a brief review on the current industrial production methods of RRMs. Based on this, the electrochemical mechanism occurring at the cathode during the electrodeposition process of RRMs in different electrolytes and under different conditions is thoroughly discussed, because it is crucial for the successful production of pure RRMs. In addition, this review not only analyses the main challenges that hinder the industrial application of the electrodeposition of RRMs in ILs, but also proposes corresponding solutions. We hope this review can provide a valuable guidance for the fundamental research and industrial development of lowtemperature electrodeposition of RRMs.

Antigen rapid diagnostic tests(Ag-RDTs)have been considered and implemented as an important diagnostic and screening tool to identify SARS-CoV-2 infections in community settings.1 Ag-RDTs are less sensitive,particularly in asymptomatic populations,compared with laboratorybased viral nucleic acid amplification tests(NAATs)such as reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).2 However,taking into account the facts that Ag-RDTs are effective for identifying most contagious individuals,they are faster and less expensive than RT-PCR,as well as that RT-PCR could produce positive results for weeks to months after the infection,2 WHO recommends Ag-RDTs be offered as COVID-19 self-testing for screening purposes in addition to professionally administered testing services regardless of the community transmission level.

Aiming to investigate the impact of different stocking densities on the ability of Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)to utilize Chlorella sorokiniana(CHL),a 3×2 factorial design stocking experiment was used in this ***,shrimp was fed with two dietary protein sources(fishmeal[FM]and CHL)at low(LSD;100 per m^(3)),medium(MSD;200 per m^(3))and high(HSD;300 per m^(3))stocking densities for 8 *** growth performance and resistance to Vibrio parahaemolyticus(1.0×10^(7) CFU/mL)of shrimp decreased with the increase of stocking density,but dietary CHL improved this *** between the CHL and FM groups for *** resistance were significant only under high-density conditions(P<0.05).Significant interactions between stocking density and protein source were found on the activities of catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and phenol oxidase(PO),and the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)in the hepatopancreas and the activities of intestinal amylase,most of which were significantly different between CHL and FM groups only at high stocking density(P<0.05).Analysis of 16S rDNA sequencing showed that dietary CHL increased the alpha diversity of intestinal microbiota,inhibited the colonization of pathogenic bacteria and enhanced the abundance of beneficial *** results showed that at high stocking densities,differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in the FM vs CHL group were mostly upregulated and primarily enriched in immune and metabolic related pathways including Toll,immune deficiency(Imd)and glycolysis–gluconeogenesis *** correlation analysis revealed significant correlation between the top ten intestinal bacteria at the genus level and markedly enriched DEGs,also more were detected under high density *** conclusion,CHL has great potential as a novel protein source in the intensive farming of shrimp.

The use of transition metal-activated peroxymonosulfate(PMS)as an advanced oxidation technology has gained *** study developed a catalyst using cobaltDlanthanum bimetallic oxide supported on layered molybdenum disulfide(Mo S_(2))as a *** CoDLa/Mo S_(2)catalyst was synthesised through coprecipitation,followed by calcination with an optimised metal ratio of Co:La=2:1 to activate PMS and degrade trace chloramphenicol(CAP)in *** chemical composition of the catalyst was confirmed using X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).At catalyst and PMS dosages of 0.1 and 0.5 g·L^(-1),respectively,the degradation rate of CAP was 95%with in 30 *** catalyst exhibitedstrong resistance to most interfering anions and maintained a high degradation rate at p H *** chromatographyDmass spectrometry analysis revealed the potential degradation pathways of CAP in the CoDLa/Mo S_(2)(2:1)/PMS *** other pollutants,such as oxytetracycline,complete degradation was achieved within 20 min,demonstrating the broad applicability of the CoDLa/Mo S_(2)(2:1)/PMS system for the degradation and removal of antibiotic organic contaminants.

As the most abundant living entities in the environment, viruses have been well recognized as crucial members in sustaining biogeochemical cycling. However, the significance of viruses in soil ecosystem multifunctionality remains under-explored. In this study, we used metagenomics and meta-viromics analysis to investigate the role of soil viruses in soil ecosystem functions under heavy, light, and no organochlorine pesticides(OCPs) contamination. In the three types of soil samples collected, lightcontaminated soils supported the highest level of multifunctionality, followed by heavy-contaminated soils and clean ***, our results revealed a positive correlation between bacterial community evenness and multifunctionality index(p <0.05). Dominant bacterial species with biodegradation and stress resistance advantages exhibited higher abundance in OCPaffected soils, potentially playing a core functional supporting role. Furthermore, our results indicated that the species richness and diversity of bacteriophages were positively correlated with multifunctionality(p < 0.05) in OCP-affected soils. Bacteriophages in OCP-affected soils regulate host metabolism and enhance soil ecosystem multifunctionality by infecting functional bacterial hosts and encoding AMGs related to soil element cycling. Our findings emphasize the potential effect of phages on ecosystem multifunctionality in contaminated soil, suggesting that phages may serve as contributors to soil ecology beyond bacteria and other microorganisms. Therefore, in polluted or constrained soils, further research could potentially translate phage communities and related ecological processes into artificial methods for application in soil pollution remediation or ecological restoration.

Designing microstructures and unveiling dynamic erosion mechanisms remain important challenges for Ag-based *** simultaneously enhance erosion and compression resistance,an Al Co Cr Fe Ni high-entropy alloy(HEA)is introduced into Ag-based materials to fabricate novel Ag-HEA contacts with island-and skeletonrestricted *** arc erosion experimental results reveal that the skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure is the key factor in reducing the hill and crater morphologies of the contact surface,effectively delaying material transfer between the movable and stationary *** molten bridge evolution and compressive deformation behavior of Ag-HEA contacts with various microstructures are investigated using molecular dynamics(MD)*** results indicate that the constraint of Ag atom diffusion in the molten pool and the involvement of HEA atoms in the molten bridge are the primary mechanisms for improving erosion *** skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure reduces the total energy and structural stability of the molten bridge system and promotes its fracture and ***,the synergistic effect of the twin and Lomerz–Cottrell lock structures can hinder dislocation glide,generating dispersed and small-area stacking faults in the Ag matrix and mitigating the concentration of shear ***,the skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure contributes positively to compression *** study presents a novel approach to designing Ag-based contacts.
