Material basis and sleep-improving mechanisms of Lily-Ziziphi spinosae semen Decoction：Systematic evidence from LC-MS， network pharmacology and animal experiments

Lily-Ziziphi spinosae semen Decoction (LZ) is known for its blood nourishing， mind calming， body sedation， and sleep promoting effects in traditional Chinese medicine. However， its material basis and underlying mechanisms have not yet been clearly defined. This study applies liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry， network pharmacology， and animal studies to reveal the material basis and sleep-improving mechanisms of LZ. The mixed decoction (LZ-ME) and single decoction (LZ-SE) were prepared to study their chemical components. Network pharmacology was used to predict the sleep-improving targets and signaling pathways of LZ. ICR mice were intragastrically administered saline (NC)， melatonin (positive control group， 0.50 mg/kg)， low (12.90 g/kg)， medium (25.70 g/kg)， and high (38.60 g/kg) dose of LZ-ME and LZ-SH for 30 days.. The results showed that LZ-ME could prolong the sleep duration and shorten the sleep latency in sodium barbiturate induced mice model. The results of chemical composition showed that total polysaccharides， total flavonoids， total saponins， and total alkaloids in LZ-ME were significantly higher than those in LZ-SE (177.20%， 82.34%， 30.58%， and 11.66%， respectively). A total of 58 chemical components were identified by UPLC-QTOF-MS， and eight representative difference components of LZ-ME and LZ-SE were found. LZ-ME significantly increased tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) in mice serum and neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) levels in mice hippocampus， decreased dopamine (DA) and glutamate (Glu) levels in mice hippocampus (P hermore， LZ-ME up-regulated the abundance of the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus and Eubacterium＿R， down-regulated the abundance of the harmful bacteria Lachnospiraceae et al. The polysaccharides， flavonoids (spinosin and 6?-feruloylspinosin) and saponins (jujuboside A and jujuboside B) were the main material bases for the sleep-promoting effects of LZ. 为了建立气冷微堆堆芯石墨与氧气的腐蚀反应分析方法,本文基于Arrhenius反应式建立石墨氧化腐蚀的四步反应模型。模型的四步反应分别代表石墨与氧气在反应过程中可能发生的4种化学反应,并增加了反应活性面积以模拟失重率对腐蚀速率的影响。通过开展基于气体浓度法的石墨氧化腐蚀实验,得到500~1100℃下不同流量和不同氧气浓度的石墨氧化腐蚀速率,实验数据分别用于腐蚀参数拟合和模型验证。建模及验证分析结果表明,所拟合的四步反应模型能够适用于石墨氧化腐蚀速率的计算分析并能够区分反应产物,且模型反应活性面积的增加更有利于准确预测高失重下的氧化腐蚀速率。

In situ transmission electron microscopy and artificial intelligence enabled data analytics for energy materials

Energy materials are vital to energy conversion and storage devices that make renewable resources viable for electrification technologies. In situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM) is a powerful approach to characterize the dynamic evolution of material structure, morphology, and chemistry at the atomic scale in real time and in operando. In this review, recent advancements of in situ TEM techniques for studying energy materials, including catalysts, batteries, photovoltaics, and thermoelectrics, are systematically discussed and summarized. The topics include a broad range of material transformations that are in situ stimulated by heating, biasing, lighting, electron-beam illuminating, and cryocooling under vacuum, liquid, or gas environments within TEM, as well as the mechanistic understanding of the associated solid-solid, solid-liquid, and solid-gas reactions elucidated by in situ TEM examination and operando measurements. Special focus is also put on the emerging progress of artificial intelligence enabled microscopy data analytics, including machine learning enhanced tools for retrieving useful information from massive TEM imaging, diffraction, and spectroscopy datasets, highlighting its merits and potential for automated in situ TEM experimentation and analysis. Finally, the pressing challenges and future perspectives on in situ TEM study for energy-related materials are discussed.

A time-averaged behaviour is found to be important for investigating the critical behaviour in parameter space for the transition from temporal chaos to spatiotemporal chaos by using an energy representation. Considering any wave solution as a superposition of the steady wave with its perturbation wave, we find that when approaching the critical parameter point the averaged positive interaction energy for the k = 1 mode becomes competitive with the negative one, with the summation displaying a scaling behaviour of power law.

ACS-HCA:An Access Control Scheme Under Hierarchical Cryptography Architecture

Binding access policies to data,Ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption(CP-ABE)enables data access control to be independent from a certain application and lets users face data directly. It is regarded as one of the most suitable access control methods in cloud storage system and gets the attention of extensive researches. In those researches, Hierarchical cryptography architecture(HCA) is often applied to improve the efficiency of the system. There exist two open issues: illegal leakage of symmetric keys and low efficiency of revocation of an attribute of a user. We propose an Access control scheme under Hierarchical cryptography architecture(ACS-HCA). In this scheme,key derivation mechanism and forward derivation function are used to avoid the leakage of symmetric keys, All-orNothing transform is used to prevent the illegal reuse of symmetric keys, and attribute revocation is realized without re-issuing other users’ private keys. Analyses and simulations demonstrate that our scheme sustains less encrypting cost on each owner and less decrypting cost on each user, but gain high efficiency in revocation of an attribute of a user.

BAK1 Directly Regulates Brassinosteroid Perception and BRI1 Activation

Plants utilize plasma membrane-localized receptor-like kinases （RLKs） to sense extracellular signals to coordinate growth, development, and innate immune responses. BAK1 regulates multiple signaling pathways acting as a co-receptor of several distinct ligand-binding RLKs. It has been debated whether BAK1 serves as an essential regulatory component or only a signal amplifier without pathway specificity. This issue has been clarified recently. Genetic and structural analyses indicated that BAK1 and its homologs play indispensible roles in mediating brassinosteroid （BR） signaling pathway by directly perceiving the ligand BR and activating the receptor of BR, BRII. The mechanism revealed by these studies now serves as a paradigm for how a pair of RLKs can function together in ligand binding and subsequent initiation of signaling.

二维MXene材料是一种新型的功能性材料,其在热电领域具有潜在应用价值.本文采用第一性原理计算方法,通过求解声子和电子的玻尔兹曼输运方程,计算研究了MXene Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层的热传输特征和热电性质.声子谱揭示了Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层具有热力学稳定性.在室温条件下,Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层的晶格热导率为14.25 Wm^(-1)K^(-1),且随着温度的升高而降低;电子热导率却随着温度和掺杂浓度的增加而升高.电输运性质中,电导率和Seebeck系数随载流子浓度的变化相反,确保能够获得优异的热电性能.在600 K条件下,n型MXene Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层的最大功率因子可以达到61.24 mW/(mK^(2)).载流子迁移率具有较高的各向异性,且电子的迁移率远远高于空穴的迁移率.基于热导及电导计算结果,n型MXene Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层沿x轴方向的热电优值可达到1.75,高于其他已报道的类似结构的热电优值,表明了MXene Hf_(2)CF_(2)单层是一种潜在的高性能n型热电材料.

Immunocytochemical Identification and Localization of Diffuse Neuroendocrine System (DNES) Cells in Gastrointestinal Tract of Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus)

To detect distribution and relative frequency of diffuse neuroendocrine system （DNES） cells in the gastrointestinal tract of channel catfish （lctalurus punctatus）, the intestinal tract of channel catfish was divided into seven portions from proximal to distal： the enlarged area after oesophagus, cardia, fundus, pylorus, and anterior, middle, and posterior intestine. Immunohistochemical method using the strept avidin-biotin-complex （SABC） was employed. All antisera between seven portions of the channel catfish were compared statistically using statistical package for the social science （SPSS）. Five types of DNES ceils were determined： neuropeptide Y-immunoreactive （NPY-IR） cells were demonstrated in both anterior and middle intestine; serotonin （5-HT） immunoreactive cells were detected throughout the whole gastrointestinal tract; vasoactive intestinal peptide （VIP） positive cells were at the highest frequency in pylorus; glucagon-immunoreactive （GLU-IR） cells were moderate in number in the fundus and anterior, middle intestine, and no immunoreactivity was determined in the other portions; somatostatin （SOM） positive cells were more abundant in the anterior and middle intestine. The regional distribution and relative frequency of immunoreactive cells in the channel catfish, Ictalurus punctatus, are essentially similar to those of other fish. However, some characteristics are observed in this species, which further proved that the diversity of the physiological function of DNES cells was based on their morphology.
