The industrial sector is vital to economic progress,yet industrial pollution poses environmental and economic *** purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of green industrial transformation in re-ducing Pakistan’s carbon intensity between 1975 and *** emissions are considered an endogenous construct,while foreign direct investment(FDI)inflows,technological innovation,green industrial transforma-tion,environmental legislation,and research and development(R&D)investment are possible *** association between variables is assessed using the robust least-squares *** industrial transforma-tion is connected with lower carbon emissions,yet technical innovation,R&D investment,and inbound FDI raise a country’s carbon *** findings support the pollution haven hypothesis in a *** causality esti-mates indicate that inward FDI contributes to environmental regulations;green industrial transformation directly relates to inbound FDI and R&D expenditures;and technological innovations correspond to inbound FDI,R&D ex-penditures,industrial ecofriendly progression,and environmental *** to the impulse response function,environmental policies are anticipated to have a differential effect on carbon emissions in 2023,2024,2028-2030,while they are likely to decrease in the years 2025-2027 and 2031 ***,inward FDI and technology advancements would almost certainly result in a rise in carbon emissions over *** industrial transitions are projected to result in a ten-year reduction in carbon *** variance decomposi-tion analysis indicates that eco-friendly industrial adaptations would likely have the largest variance error shock on carbon emissions(11.747%),followed by inbound FDI,technological advancements,and regulatory changes,with R&D spending having a minimal impact over ***’s economy should foster a green industrial revolution to avoid pollution and increase environm

Computationally efficient locality-aware interconnection topology for multi-processor system-on-chip(MP-SoC)

This paper evaluates the Triplet Based Architecture,TriBA-a new idea in chip multiprocessor architectures and a class of Direct Interconnection Network(DIN).TriBA consists of a 2D grid of small,programmable processing units,each physically connected to its three neighbors so that advantageous features of group locality can be fully and efficiently *** communication model can be well characterized by locality properties and,any topology has its intrinsic,structural,locality *** propose a new criterion in performance evaluation that is based on the concept of locality in an interconnection network,the "lower layer complete connect".Our proposed criterion depicts how completely a processing node is connected to all its *** is compared with 2D Mesh and Binary Tree as static interconnection *** comparison/evaluation is enumerated from three orthogonal view points,viz.,computational speed,physical layout and *** analysis concludes that TriBA is computationally efficient interconnection strategy that exploits group locality in processing nodes.

Locality Aware Optimal Task Scheduling Algorithm for TriBA —— A Novel Scalable Architecture

An optimal algorithmic approach to task scheduling for, triplet based architecture（TriBA）, is proposed in this paper. TriBA is considered to be a high performance, distributed parallel computing architecture. TriBA consists of a 2D grid of small, programmable processing units, each physically connected to its three neighbors. In parallel or distributed environment an efficient assignment of tasks to the processing elements is imperative to achieve fast job turnaround time. Moreover, the sojourn time experienced by each individual job should be minimized. The arriving jobs are comprised of parallel applications, each consisting of multiple-independent tasks that must be instantaneously assigned to processor queues, as they arrive. The processors independently and concurrently service these tasks. The key scheduling issues is, when some queue backlogs are small, an incoming job should first spread its tasks to those lightly loaded queues in order to take advantage of the parallel processing gain. Our algorithmic approach achieves optimality in task scheduling by assigning consecutive tasks to a triplet of processors exploiting locality in tasks. The experimental results show that tasks allocation to triplets of processing elements is efficient and optimal. Comparison to well accepted interconnection strategy, 2D mesh, is shown to prove the effectiveness of our algorithmic approach for TriBA. Finally we conclude that TriBA can be an efficient interconnection strategy for computations intensive applications, if tasks assignment is carried out optimally using algorithmic approach.

Sedative and antinociceptive activities of two new sesquiterpenes isolated from Ricinus communis

Two new sesquiterpenes, trivially named ricinusoids A(1) and ricinusoids B(2), were isolated from ethyl acetate fraction of Ricinus communis. The structures of new compounds were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic techniques, including 1 D-and 2 D-NMR, UV, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The compounds(1-2) were also assessed for in-vivo sedative and analgesic like effects in open field and acetic acid induced writhing tests respectively at 5, 10, and 20 mg·kg^(–1) i.p. Pretreatment of both test compounds caused significant(P ≤ 0.05) reduction in locomotive activity like sedative agents and abdominal constrictions like analgesics. Both compounds(1-2) possessed marked sedative and antinociceptive effects in animal models.

犬细小病毒2（Canine Parvovirus type 2,CPV-2）是导致幼犬严重肠胃炎最常见的病原体之一。找到一种简单、准确、便携、廉价且适用于现场检测的CPV-2检测方法具有重要意义。Cas13a酶是一种RNA激活的核糖核酸酶（RNase）,在靶转录物与其结合后能够对crRNA进行加工和降解外源RNA。在本研究中,我们在原核表达系统中表达了 LwCas13a蛋白,并通过镍柱进行纯化。将CRISPR效应物Cas13a与重组酶聚合酶扩增（RPA）组合以建立分子检测平台,即为特异性高灵敏度酶促解锁（SHERLOCK）,可快速、灵敏地检测CPV-2 DNA。该系统具有高灵敏度和特异性。本研究旨在利用Cas13a系统,建立一种CPV-2病毒核酸现场检测方法。主要结果如下:1:收集由大肠杆菌表达的Cas13a蛋白并进行SDS-PAGE验证。IPTG用于蛋白诱导。2:为了检查Cas13a的活性和特异性,我们设计了两个阴性对照和一个实验组。结果表明,实验组荧光值显著高于阴性对照组,证明Cas13a蛋白具有RNase活性,且对靶标具有良好的特异性。3:为了提高检测灵敏度,引入RPA和T7体外转录以形成新的检测系统,经过优化其能够在30min内检测100 aM的CPV-2 DNA。因此,基于Cas13a蛋白的表达和纯化,本研究成功构建了一个对为具有对CPV-2 DNA具有良好灵敏性和特异性的检测系统。该技术可用于疾病爆发期间的CPV-2的现场检测。

In vivo sedative and muscle relaxants activity of Diospyros lotus L

Objective: To evaluate the sedative effect of Diospyros lotus L(D. lotus) extract in mice using the open field and Rota rod ***: For the sedative and muscle relaxants activities of extract/fractions of the plant, invivo open field and phenobarbitone-induced sleeping time were used, while the Roda rod test was employed in animals for the assessment of muscle relaxant ***: Results from this investigation revealed that the extracts of D. lotus have exhibited significant sedative effect in mice(45.98%) at 100 mg/kg i.p. When the extract was partitioned with different solvents, the n-hexane fraction was inactive whereas the chloroform fraction was the most active with 82.67% sedative effect at 50 and 100 mg/kg i.p. On the other hand,the ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions displayed significant sedative effects(55.65% and40.87%, respectively) at 100 mg/kg i.p. Among the tested extract/fractions, only chloroform and ethyl acetate fractions showed significant(P < 0.05) muscle relaxant activity in the Rota rod ***: In short, our study provided scientific background to the traditional uses of *** as sedative.

In vivo screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves for antinociceptive and antipyretic activity

Objective:To study the screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves(SLO)for acute toxicity,antinociceptive,antipyretic and anticonvulsant activities in various animal ***:SLO were extracted using modified Clevenger type *** toxicity test was used in mice to observe its safety *** activity of SLO was evaluated in acetic acid induced writhing and hot plate *** induced hyperthermic mice and pentylenetetrazole induced convulsive mice were used for the assessment of its antipyretic and anticonvulsant profile ***:Substantial safety was observed for SLO in acute toxicity *** showed a high significant activity in acetic acid induced writhing test in a dose dependent manner with maximum pain attenuation of 68.48%at 200 mg/kg ***,it did not produce any relief in thermal induced pain at test *** challenged against pyrexia evoked by yeast,SLO manifested marked amelioration in hyperthermic mice,dose *** anti-hyperthermic activity(75%)was observed at 200 mg/kg *** 4 h of drug ***,SLO had no effect on seizures control and mortality caused by ***:In vivo studies of SLO showed prominent antinociceptive and antipyretic activities with ample safety profile and thus provided pharmacological base for the traditional uses of the plant in various painful conditions and *** detail studies are required to ascertain its clinical application.

Antipyretic and anticonvulsant activity of n-hexane fraction of viola betonicifolia

Objective:To investigate the antipyretic and anticonvulsant activities of n-hexane fraction of Viola betonicifolia(***).Methods:The antipyretic effect was scrutinized using brewer's yeast induced pyrexia and anticonvlsion effect was tested using pentylenetetrazol and strychnine induced convulsion in ***:N-hexane fraction of *** demonstrated highly significant antipyretic activity during various assessment times(1-5 h)when challenged in yeast induced pyrexia *** effect was in a dose dependent manner with maximum attenuation(82.50%)observed at 300 mg/kg *** tested in pentylenetetrazol induced convulsion test,the 1st stage(Ear and facial twitching)and 2nd stage(Convulsive wave through the body)was 100%protected during 24 h at all the test doses(300,400 and 500 mg/kg i.p.),while the latency time of remaining stages was significantly *** maximum effect was observed by n-hexane fraction of *** at 400 and 500 mg/kg i.p.,as the latency time for generalized clonic-tonic seizure(5th stage)was increased up to 25.34 ***,n-hexane fraction of *** had no protection in strychnine induced convulsion ***:In conclusion,phytopharmacological studies provide scientific foundation to the folk uses of the plant in the treatment of pyrexia and neurological disorders.
