Xylanase,an enzyme capable of hydrolyzing non-starch polysaccharides found in grain structures like wheat,has been found to improve the organizational structure of dough and thus increase its *** our past work,one promising xylanase FXYL derived from Fusarium oxysporum Fo47 and first expressed 779.64 U/mL activity in *** has shown significant potential in improving the quality of whole wheat bread,making it become a candidate for development as a new flour *** optimization of expression elements and gene dose,the xylanase activity of FXYL strain carrying three-copies reached 4240.92 U/mL in *** addition,12 factors associated with the three stages of protein expression pathway were co-expressed individually in order in three-copies strain,and the translation factor Pab1 co-expression increased FXYL activity to 8893.53 U/***,combining the most effective or synergistic factors from three stages did not exhibit better results than co-expressing them *** further evaluate the industrial potential,the xylanase activity and protein concentration reached 81184.51 U/mL and 11.8 g/L in a 5 L fed-batch *** engineering strategies improved the expression of xylanase FXYL by more than 104-fold,providing valuable insights for the cost-effective industrial application of FXYL in the baking field.

Nitrogen oxide(NO_(x))is one of the most critical contaminants in the air,and the control of NO_(x)emission from diesel vehicles is very ***-based small-pore zeolites have already been applied for NO_(x)abatement on diesel *** the small-pore zeolites,Cu-SSZ-50 catalysts with good NH_(3)-SCR catalytic activity were believed to have potential for *** this study,a one-pot synthesis method for Cu-SSZ-50 catalysts was developed for the first time,using the co-templates of Cu-TEPA and 2,6-dimethyl-N-methylpyridinium *** this synthesis method,Cu-SSZ-50 with various Cu contents can be obtained by adjusting the amount of Cu-TEPA without the need for a further after-treatment *** addition of Cu-TEPA affected the framework atoms and Cu species,and a lower Si/Al ratio and more SCR active Cu species were *** synthesized catalyst with a Cu/Al ratio of 0.40 exhibited over 90%NO_(x)conversion between 200℃and 450℃for the selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x)with NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR).Meanwhile,over 80%NO_(x)conversion could be obtained from 250℃to 450℃after hydrothermal aging at 750℃for 16 *** addition,both L-H and E-R mechanisms were proven to exist for the one-pot-synthesized Cu-SSZ-50 by in situ DRIFTS *** simple synthesis procedure,excellent catalytic activity and hydrothermal stability brighten the prospects for the application of Cu-SSZ-50.

This paper studied the effects of different retarders on the performance of the"one-step"alkali-activated composite cementitious material(ACCM)which is composed of ground granulated blast slag(ggBS)and fly ash(FA),and analyzed its mechanical properties,hydration mechanism,and retardation *** effects of retarders on the hydration products,mechanical properties,and hydration kinetics of ACCM were investigated using XRD,SEM,FTIR,EDS,and thermoactive *** results showed that Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)·10H_(2)O(B)delayed the exotherm during the alkali activation process and could effectively delay the setting time of ACCM,but the mechanical properties were slightly *** setting time of ACCM increased with the increase in Sg content,but the mechanical properties of ACCM decreased with the increase in Sg content.C1_(2)H_(22)O_(11)(CHO)could effectively delay the hydration reaction of ACCM and weakly enhanced the compressive strength.H_(3)PO_(4)(HP)at a concentration of 0.05 mol/L had a certain effect on ACCM retardation,but HP at a concentration of 0.07 and 0.09 mol/L had an effect of promoting the setting and hardening time of ACCM.

Remediating soil contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)presents a significant environmental challenge due to their toxic and carcinogenic *** PAHs remediation methodsdchemical,thermal,and bioremediationdalong with conventional soil-washing agents like surfactants and cyclodextrins face challenges of cost,ecological harm,and *** we show an effective and environmentally friendly calixarene derivative for PAHs removal through soil ***[4]arene tetrasulfonate(TCAS)has a unique molecular structure of a sulfonate group and a sulfur atom,which enhances its solubility and facilitates selective binding with *** forms host-guest complexes with PAHs through p-p stacking,OH-p interactions,hydrogen bonding,van der Waals forces,and electrostatic *** interactions enable partial encapsulation of PAH molecules,aiding their desorption from the soil *** results show that a 0.7%solution of TCAS can extract approximately 50%of PAHs from contaminated soil while preserving soil nutrients and minimizing adverse environmental *** research unveils the pioneering application of TCAS in removing PAHs from contaminated soil,marking a transformative advancement in resource-efficient and sustainable soil remediation strategies.

This work presents a generic strategy to create a series of metal mercaptides complexes via coordination selfassembly between transition metals(Mn,Cu,co,Fe,and Ni)and cysteine(Cys)by forming the sulfur-metal *** strategy involves dissolving metal chlorides and Cys into deep eutectic solvents(DES),followed by the precipitation of metal mercaptides complexes(such as Cys-Mn)by adding water as an antisolvent,where DES serves as the solvent,shape directing,and capping agent,thereby preventing the formation of other metal ***,the prepared complexes possess both laccase and peroxidase-like properties,allowing the design of a technique for the detection of L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine(L-DOPA)and uric acid,*** prepared Cys-Mn can linearly oxidize L-DOPA with its concentrations from 0.1 to 130μM and the detection limit was calculated to be 75.5 n ***,the Cys-Mn can mimic the activity of peroxidase towards oxidization of o-phenylenediamine at neutral p H,allowing single-step and one-pot cascade reactions for visual and fluorometric measurements of uric acid(UA)that could work in the range of 0.2-500μM UA with a detection limit of 0.06μM and 0.054μМ,*** assay was successful in detecting UA in serum and urine samples with relative standard deviation(RSD)ranging from 7.3%to 10.2%and 3.0%-8.5%respectively,suggesting that it may prove useful in medical diagnostic testing.
