In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse coupled Neural Network(PcNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PcNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse coupled Neural Networks(IPcNN)model is proposed in this *** IPcNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPcNN on the gray images and natural images from the Matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPcNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Uncovering the hierarchical clusters in the heat-affected zone of an electron beam weldedα/βtitanium alloy joint

Using high-resolution transmission Kikuchi diffraction(TKD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),we examined the hierarchical clusters that form in situ in the heat-affected zone(hAZ),which are com-monly referred to as“ghost”structures,of bimodal titanium alloy Ti-5Al-2Sn-2Zr-4Mo-4cr(wt%,Tc17).The ghost structures are enriched with Al elements but poor in Mo and cr compared to the surroundingβ*** results show that the ghost structure in middle-hAZ mainly consists ofα_(L)laths with a high-angle grain boundary,which exhibits the classic Burgers orientation relationship(BOR)with the host matrix,while it encircles theα_(P)grains in *** the ghost structure is evidenced to form via in-complete martensitic *** results further confirm that the ghost structure is composed ofαL and tinyβ_(L)laths with BOR,with the former being enriched with Al and poor with cr and Mo,while the latter is the ***,twoα_(L)variant clusters with a check-mark morphology are fre-quently observed viewed along[0001]_(αL)//[110]_(βL)directions,which are dominated by the crystallographic and geometrical relationships betweenαandβ*** on the microstructural characterization,it is hypothesized that the ghost structure is transformed from the initialα_(P)phase,due to the coupling ef-fect of high thermal stress(which induces the formation of a large number of dislocations)and element diffusion caused by sudden temperature increase and plunge cooling in the hAZ during the welding pro-cess.

Exogenous testosterone therapy on choroid in androgen deficiency

AIM:To investigate the effects of exogenous testosterone treatment on the choroidal parameters in patients with androgen ***:Right eyes of 24 patients with androgen deficiency and 31 healthy volunteers were included in the *** eyes were scanned for subfoveal choroidal thickness(SFcT),choroidal vascularity index(cVI),choroidstromal area(c-SA),choroid-luminal area(c-LA),choroidstromal to luminal area ratio(cSLR),and the choroidal parameters within central 1500μm of the macula(cVI1500,c-LA1500,c-SA1500,and cSLR1500)by enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OcT)at baseline,6th and 18th weeks of the exogenous testosterone ***:The mean SFcT values of the androgen deficient groups and healthy controls were 307.7±27.0 and 303.2±37.2μm(P=0.8).however,cVI,c-SA,cSLR,cVI1500,c-LA1500,and cSLR1500 were significantly different between the groups(all Phe 6th week visit after exogenous testosterone treatment,SFcT,cVI,c-LA,and c-SA were significantly decreased,and these parameters returned to baseline levels at the 18th-week visit(all P>0.05).however,cVI1500 and LA1500 significantly increased at the end of the follow-up period(PcONcLUSION:cVI is lower in androgen-deficient patients than in healthy *** alterations in the choroid during the testosterone peak are transient in the treatment of patients with androgen ***,the increase in cVI within the central 1500μm of the macula persists even after 4mo.

This study addresses the pressing need for energy-efficient greenhouse management by focusing on the innovative application of natural *** primary objective of this study is to evaluate various ventilation strategies to enhance energy efficiency and optimize crop production in agricultural *** advanced numerical simulation tools,the study conducts a comprehensive assessment of natural ventilation’s effectiveness under real-world *** results underscore the crucial role of the stack effect and strategic window positioning in greenhouse cooling,providing valuable insights for greenhouse *** findings shed light on the significant benefits of optimized ventilation and also offer practical implications for improving greenhouse design,ensuring sustainable and efficient agricultural *** study demonstrated energy savings in cooling from November to April,with a maximum saving of 680 kWh in March,indicating the effectiveness of strategically positioning windows to leverage the stack *** approach enhances plant growth and reduces the need for costly cooling systems,thereby improving overall energy efficiency and lowering operational expenses.

A detailed comparison of the composition of(RE)-Ba-cu-O-Ag bulk superconductors

The homogeneity of the microstructure and composition are critical in determining the properties of rare earthbarium‐cuprate,single grain bulk superconductors[(RE)BcO].The magnitude of the trapped magnetic field achieveable in these technologically important materials,in particular,is influenced heavily by the size and distribution of(RE)_(2)BacuO_(x)(RE‐211)flux pinning inclusions in the bulk microstructure,whereas the size and distribution of silver agglomerates present within the bulk superconducting matrix correlate directly with improved mechanical *** careful engineering,these materials have significant potential for application in range of devices related to energy storage,medicine,electro‐magnetic machinery and microelectronic *** of(RE)BcO bulk superconductors typically involves heating a powder compact above its peritectic decomposition temperature followed by slow cooling to facilitate the growth of a single ***(RE)BcO composition has a different peritectic temperature and growth rate,which,therefore,necessitates different requirements in the heating *** fabrication temperature and growth rate,for example,may have an effect on the RE‐211 and silver distribution,which may,in turn,affect the superconducting properties of the resulting single *** this work we compare the distributions of silver and RE‐211 in the single grain microstructures of yBcOAg,GdBcO‐Ag,EuBcO‐Ag and SmBcO‐Ag bulk superconductors using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X‐ray *** observe that the distributions are very similar along both the a/b‐axis and c‐axis of these *** suggests that factors other than the maximum temperature used to achieve peritectic decomposition and the rate of single grain growth are particularly influential in determining the properties of the as‐processed samples in the top seeded melt growth *** observation demonstrates there is freedom to us

As a prevailing cathode material of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),LicoO_(2)(LcO)still encounters the tricky problems of structural collapse,whose morphological engineering and cation doping are crucial for surmounting the mechanical strains and alleviating phase degradation upon ***,we propose a strategy using a zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)as the self-sacrificing template to directionally prepare a series of LiNi_(0.1)co_(0.9)O_(2)(LNcO)with tailorable electrochemical *** rational selection of sintering temperature imparts the superiority of the resultant products in lithium storage,during which the sample prepared at 700℃(LNcO-700)outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(156.8 mA h g^(-1)at 1 c for 200 cycles in half cells,1 c=275 mA g^(-1))and rate capability due to the expedited ion/electron transport and the strengthen mechanical *** feasibility of proper Ni doping is also divulged by half/full cell tests and theoretical study,during which LNcO-700(167 mA h g^(-1)at 1 c for 100 cycles in full cells)surpasses LcO-700 in battery performance due to the mitigated phase deterioration,stabilized layered structu re,ameliorated electro nic co nductivity,a nd exalted lithium sto rage *** work systematically unveils tailorable electrochemical behaviors of LNcO to better direct their practical application.

In this study,we present a supramolecular templating approach for constructing polyimidazolium salt containing crown ether and cyclobutane *** strategy involves the formation of metal-carbene templates,photochemical cycloaddition,and subsequent demetallation of metal *** by the host-guest chemistry between crown ether units and ammonium salts,we successfully fabricated a supramolecular polymer SPN1,which features imidazolium receptors and cyclobutane *** obtained SPN1 demonstrates outstanding reversible stimulus-response,antibacterial behavior and conductivity.

Titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))hollow nanoparticles present significant potential for photocatalytic applications while their straightforward preparation with precise structure control is still *** work reports the approach to preparing tunable hollow TiO_(2) nanospheres by utilization of spherical polyelectrolyte brushes(SPB)as nanoreactors and *** the preparation,the evolution of the structure was characterized by small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),and in combination with dynamic light scattering and transmission electron *** formation of TiO_(2) shell within the brush(SPB@TiO_(2))is confirmed by the significant increase of the electron density,and its internal structure has been analyzed by fitting SAXS data,which can be influenced by Titanium precursors and ammonia *** calcining SPB@TiO_(2) in a muffle furnace,hollow TiO_(2) nanospheres are produced,and their transition to the anatase crystal form is triggered,as confirmed by X-ray diffraction *** the advantages of their hollow structure,these TiO_(2) nanospheres exhibit exceptional catalytic degradation efficiency of methylene blue(MB),tetracycline(Tc),and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D),and also demonstrate excellent recyclability.
