Molecular aggregates are receiving tremendous attention,demonstrating immense potential for biomedical applications in vitro and in *** instance,the molecular aggregates of conventional fluorophores influence the electronic excitation states of the aggregates,causing characteristic photophysical property changes.A fundamental understanding of this classical relationship between molecular aggregate structures and photophysics has allowed for innovative biological *** chemical characteristics of drug molecules generally trigger the formation of colloidal aggregates,and this is considered detrimental to the drug discovery ***,nano-sized supramolecular aggregates have been used in biomedical imaging and therapy owing to their optimal properties for in vivo utility,including enhanced cell permeability,passive tumor targeting,and convenient surface ***,we provide an overview of the recent trends in molecular aggregates for biomedical *** changes in photophysical properties of conventional fluorophores and their biological applications are discussed,followed by the effects of conventional drug molecule-aggregates on drug discovery and therapeutics *** trends in the investigation of biologically important analytes with aggregation-induced emission are discussed for conventional and unconventional ***,we discuss nano-sized supramolecular aggregates used in imaging and therapeutic purposes,with a focus on in vivo utilization.

Purification of Astaxanthin from Laminaria japonica by Ionic Liquid-based Monolithic Cartridge

An effective and accurate method was developed for the extraction of astaxanthin from Laminariajapo- nica with subsequent separation by ionic liquid-based monolithic cartridge. The optimized extraction conditions in- cluding extraction solvent（ethanol）, extraction time（90 min） and ultrasonic power（75 W） were obtained by systema- tical investigation. Chromatographic analysis was performed on a C18 column with ultraviolet（UV） detection at 476 nm, and a solution consisting of methanol/acetonitrile/h2O/dichloromethane（83：6：6：5, volume ratio） was used as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.7 mL/min. After ionic liquid-based monolithic solid phase extraction, 17.82 μg/g as- taxanthin was obtained from Laminaria japonica. This ionic liquid-based monolithic cartridge exhibits high affinity and selectivity for astaxanthin, and it can be potentially used as the stationary phase of high performance liquid chromatography（hPLC）.

Solid-phase Extraction of β-Sitosterol from Oldenlandia diffusa Using Molecular Imprinting Polymer

The β-sitosterol imprinted polymer was prepared for selective extraction and analysis of β-sitosterol from Old-enlandia diffusa （0. diffusa） followed by hPLC with UV detection. The imprinted polymers show high affinity and selectivity to β-sitosterol. Using this molecularly imprinted polymer （MIP） cartridge as solid-phase extraction （SPE） material, the interferences could be quickly washed out and β-sitosterol was selectively retained and enriched. hPLC analysis method was used to evaluate the characteristics of this MIP material. At the condition of mobile phase composed of MeOh/h20/h3PO4 （99/1/0.1, V/V/V, ph=6.0） and the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min -1, a good linear relationship was demonstrated when the concentrations of β-sitosterol were in the range of 0.50--100.0 μg·mL-1. The recoveries ranged from 75.3% to 86.5% and the inter-day and intra-day relative standard deviations were less than 5%. This developed hPLC method was proved to be acceptable for extraction offl-sitosterol from O. diffusa.

Intelligent low-level RF system by non-destructive beam monitoring device for cyclotrons

The project of a 10 Me V PET cyclotron accelerator for medical diagnosis and treatment was started at Amirkabir University of Technology in 2012. The low-level RF system of the cyclotron accelerator is designed to stabilize acceleration voltage and control the resonance frequency of the cavity. In this work an Intelligent Low Level Radio Frequency Circuit or ILLRF, suitable for most AVF cyclotron accelerators, is designed using a beam monitoring device and narrow band tunable band-pass filter. In this design, the RF phase detection does not need signal processing by a microcontroller.
