A multiscalar and nonrenormalizable B-L extension of the standard model(SM)with S_(4)symmetry which successfully explains the recently observed neutrino oscillation data is proposed.The tiny neutrino masses and their hierarchies are generated via the type-I seesaw mechanism.The model reproduces the recent experiments of neutrino mixing angles and Dirac CP violating phase in which the atmospheric angle(θ_(23))and the reactor angle(θ_(13))get the best-fit values while the solar angle(θ_(12))and Dirac CP violating phase(δ)are in 3σrange of the best-fit value for the normal hierarchy(Nh).For the inverted hierarchy(Ih),θ13 gets the best-ft value andθ_(23)together withδare in the lσrange,whileθ12 is in 3δrange of the best-fit value.The effective neutrino masses are pre-dicted to be(m_(ee))=6.81 mev for the Nh and(m_(ee))=48.48 mev for the Ih,in good agreement with the most re-cent experimental data.

In the framework of the 3-3-1 model with neutral leptons,we investigate lepton-flavor-violating sources based on the higgs mass spectrum,which has two neutral higgs identified with the corresponding ones of the two-higgs-doublet model.We note that at the 13Tev scale of the LhC,the parameter space regions satisfy the experimental limits of e_(i)→e_(j)γecays.These regions depend heavily on the mixing of exotic leptons but are predicted to have large h_(1)^(0)→μτsignals.We also show that Br(h_(1)^(0)→μτ)can reach a value of 10^(-4).

The NATO agreement STANAG 4569 defines the protection levels for the occupants of logistic and light armored vehicle.The Allied Engineering Publication,AEP-55,volume 2 document outlines the test conditions for underbelly improvised explosive device(IEDs),which must be buried in water-saturated sandy gravel.The use of sandy gravel has some drawbacks,for instance reproducibility,time consumption,and cost.This paper focuses on the investigation of four alternatives to sandy gravel,which could produce similar specific and cumulative impulses:a concrete pot filled with water,a concrete pot filled with quartz sand,a steel pot without filling and a concrete pot filled with glass spheres(diameter 200μm—300μm)and different water contents.The impulses are measured with a ring technology developed at the Fraunhofer EMI.A numerical soil model based on the work of Marrs,2014 and Fi serov a,2006 and considering the soil moisture was used to simulate the experiments with glass spheres at different water contents,showing much better agreement with the experiments than the classical Laine&Sandvik model,even for high saturation levels.These results can be used to create new test conditions at original scale that are more cost-effective,more reproducible and simpler to manage in comparison to the current tests carried out with STANAG sandy gravel.

The development of potential theory heightens the understanding of fundamental interactions in quantum systems.In this paper,the bound state solution of the modified radial Klein–Gordon equation is presented for generalised tanh-shaped hyperbolic potential from the Nikiforov–Uvarov method.The resulting energy eigenvalues and corresponding radial wave functions are expressed in terms of the Jacobi polynomials for arbitrary l states.It is also demonstrated that energy eigenvalues strongly correlate with potential parameters for quantum states.Considering particular cases,the generalised tanh-shaped hyperbolic potential and its derived energy eigenvalues exhibit good agreement with the reported findings.Furthermore,the rovibrational energies are calculated for three representative diatomic molecules,namely h2,hCl and O2.The lowest excitation energies are in perfect agreement with experimental results.Overall,the potential model is displayed to be a viable candidate for concurrently prescribing numerous quantum systems.

Object detection is the most fundamental but challenging issues in the field of computer vision.Object detection identifies the presence of various individual objects in an image.Great success is attained for object detection/recognition problems in the controlled environment,but still,the problem remains unsolved in the uncontrolled places,particularly,when the objects are placed in arbitrary poses in an occluded and cluttered environment.In the last few years,a lots of efforts are made by researchers to resolve this issue,because of its wide range of applications in computer vision tasks,like content-enabled image retrieval,event or activity recognition,scene understanding,and so on.This review provides a detailed survey of 50 research papers presenting the object detection techniques,like machine learning-based techniques,gradient-based techniques,Fast Region-based Convolutional Neural Network(Fast R-CNN)detector,and the foreground-based techniques.here,the machine learning-based approaches are classified into deep learning-based approaches,random forest,Support vector Machine(SvM),and so on.Moreover,the challenges faced by the existing techniques are explained in the gaps and issues section.The analysis based on the classification,toolset,datasets utilized,published year,and the performance metrics are discussed.The future dimension of the research is based on the gaps and issues identified from the existing research works.

In this study, the inhomogeneous dealloying phenomenon during the liquid metal dealloying(LMD) was investigated using FeNi+Mg and(FeCo)Ni+Mg systems. For the FeNi+Mg system, the inhomogeneous dealloying and wetting of Mg melt occurred along triple junction(TJ) and grain boundary(GB).Temperature increase enhances the inhomogeneous dealloying kinetics and leads to the formation of the plate-shaped abnormal ligaments at the GB region. The energy banlance between a GB energy(γGB)and solid-liquid interface energies(γsl) is the key factor governing the inhomogeneous dealloying and wetting. Particularly, the low-energy twin boundaries were unaffected by the inhomogeneous dealloying.Therefore, precursor microstructure is an important factor determining the final morphology of dealloyed material as well as its physical properties. In the case of the(FeCo)Niprecursor, all TJ and GB were stable against the preferred penetration of Mg melt from 600 ℃ to 800 ℃. It was concluded that a minor addition of alloying elements(vorCr) changes GB characteristics as well as γslof the precursor alloy.Consequently, this significantly influences dealloying mechanisms and final morphology of the dealloyed material. The current findings demonstrate the importance of GB engineering in the precursor materials for the technological application of liquid metal dealloying for the synthesis of advanced structural and functional materials.

This paper gives insight into the use of underground space in helsinki,Finland.The city has an underground master plan(UMP) for its whole municipal area,not only for certain parts of the city.Further,the decision-making history of the UMP is described step-by-step.Some examples of underground space use in other cities are also given.The focus of this paper is on the sustainability issues related to urban underground space use,including its contribution to an environmentally sustainable and aesthetically acceptable landscape,anticipated structural longevity and maintaining the opportunity for urban development by future generations.Underground planning enhances overall safety and economy efficiency.The need for underground space use in city areas has grown rapidly since the 21 st century;at the same time,the necessity to control construction work has also increased.The UMP of helsinki reserves designated space for public and private utilities in various underground areas of bedrock over the long term.The plan also provides the framework for managing and controlling the city’s underground construction work and allows suitable locations to be allocated for underground facilities.Tampere,the third most populated city in Finland and the biggest inland city in the Nordic countries,is also a good example of a city that is taking steps to utilise underground resources.Oulu,the capital city of northern Finland,has also started to ‘go underground’.An example of the possibility to combine two cities by an 80-km subsea tunnel is also discussed.A new fixed link would generate huge potential for the capital areas of Finland and Estonia to become a real helsinki-Tallinn twin city.

Analysis of the geometrical dependence of auxetic behavior in reentrant structures by finite elements

Materials with a negative Poisson＇s ratio（PR）are called auxetics;they are characterized by expansion/contraction when tensioned/compressed.Given this counterintuitive behavior,they present very particular characteristics and mechanical behavior.Geometrical models have been developed to justify and artificiall reproduce such materials＇ auxetic behavior.The focus of this study is the exploration of a reentrant model by analyzing the variation in the PR of reentrant structures as a function of geometrical and base material parameters.It is shown that,even in the presence of protruding ribs,there may not be auxetic behavior,and this depends on the geometry of each reentrant structure.values determined for these parameters can be helpful as approximate reference data in the design and fabrication of auxetic lattices using reentrant geometries.
