Using a large sample of firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange over 1998–2007, this study investigates whether and how trading by foreign and domestic institutional investors improves the extent to which firm-specific information is incorporated into stock prices, captured by stock price synchronicity. We find,first, that stock price synchronicity decreases significantly with the intensity of trading by foreign investors and domestic institutional investors. Second,trading by foreign investors facilitates the incorporation of firm-specific information into stock prices to a greater extent than trading by aggregate domestic institutions. Third, among domestic institutions with differing investment horizons, short-term investing institutions, such as securities and investment trust companies, play a more important role in incorporating firm-specific information into stock prices via their trading activities, compared with long-term investing institutions, such as banks and insurance ***, we provide evidence suggesting that trading by foreign and domestic short-term institutions reduces the extent of accrual mispricing. Our results are robust to a variety of sensitivity checks.

A wild strain of Flammulina velutipes indigenous to Iran has been recently adapted for artificial cultivation,requiring nutritional information in order to improve its utilization as a medicinal-culinary ***,the current study aimed to evaluate protein profile of this domesticated wild *** strain over six different developmental stages,in comparison with a commercially cultivated strain of *** macro-and microelements were also investigated in the mature sporomes cultivated in a lignocellulosic substrate composed of 40%wheat straw+40%sawdust+18%wheat bran+1%lime+1%*** lowest and highest amounts of protein were observed in primordia(33%of dry matter)and sporomes picked at the third or fifth day of harvesting(57%of dry matter),respectively(p≤0.05),followed by an obvious decrease in protein content at the late stages of harvesting(p≤0.05).Further SDS-PAGE analyses revealed that the protein molecular mass increased from less than 30 kDa in primordia to 235 kDa in mature ***,no significant difference in protein profiling was noticed between the wild and the reference strains of any given stage(p≥0.05).While nutritional elements such as K,P and Mg were found at 886.9,745.2,and 142.7 mg/100 g of dry weight,respectively,no heavy metals was found at levels higher than the provisional maximum tolerable intake in the *** study may be considered an initial step towards recognition of the wild *** as a non-toxic functional food,warranting further proteomics studies.

Objective:To determine the disease prevalence and its relationship with hepatitis B and C viruses among school children in five endemic areas by ***:During June 2007 and March 2009,1 484 school children aged between 5-16 years participated in the current study from 32 basic schools in five districts(Al-Dhabab,hedran,Warazan,Al-Barh and Al-Shmaytin) in Taiz Governorate,Republic of *** of school children who participated in the study;1 406 stool samples,1 484 urine samples and 214 blood samples were collected and ***:Schistosoma mansoni(***) was found in all the studied areas except ***,Schistosoma haematobium(***) was recorded only in Al-Shmaytin and *** *** and *** were observed in Al-Shmaytin *** overall prevalence was 20.76%for *** and 7.41%for ***. The prevalence rate of infection among males was higher than females,shwing no significant *** of light,moderate and heavy infections in the case of *** were 41.78%, 25.34%and 32.87%***,for *** it was 50.90%for light infection and 49.09%for heavy *** to the prevalence of viral hepatitis among infected school children with schistosomiasis,it could be noticed that hepatitis B virus was higher than the prevalence of hepatitis C ***,the presence of hBsAg and anti-hCV was not associated with Schistosoma ***:Schistosomiasis infection is an important public health problem in Taiz Governorate,Republic of *** was a correlation between S. haematobium and hepatitis B,but no association between *** infections and hepatitis B and C viruses.

With the emergence of the Internet of Things(IoT), there has been a proliferation of urban studies using big data. Yet, another type of urban research innovations that involve interdisciplinary thinking and methods remains underdeveloped. This paper represents an attempt to adopt a hidden Markov Model(hMM) toolbox developed in Computer Science for the analysis of eye movement patterns in Psychology to answer urban mobility questions in Geography. The main idea is that both people’s eye movements and travel behavior follow the stop-travel-stop pattern, which can be summarized using hMM. Methodological challenges were addressed by adjusting the hMM to analyze territory-wide travel survey data in hong Kong, China. By using the adjusted toolbox to identify the activitytravel patterns of working adults in hong Kong, two distinctive groups of balanced(38.4%) and work-oriented(61.6%) lifestyles were identified. With some notable exceptions, working adults living in the urban core were having a more work-oriented lifestyle. Those with a balanced lifestyle were having a relatively compact zone of non-work activities around their homes but a relatively long commuting distance. Furthermore, working females tend to spend more time at home than their counterparts, regardless of their marital status and lifestyle. Overall, this interdisciplinary research demonstrates an attempt to integrate spatial, temporal, and sequential information for understanding people’s behavior in urban mobility research.

The applications of the newly developed all-eleatron full potential linearized augmented plane wave （FLAPW） method for bulk in the electronic structure of the cubic Laves phase （C15） compound ZrZn2and ZrV2are presented and the results have been applied to the calculation and discussion of the magnetic and superconducting properties in these materials. The computations are performed in two states: （ⅰ） self-consistent warped muffin-tin and （ⅱ） self-consistent full potential with spinorbit coupling included after either stage. The effects of the inclusion of the non-spherlcal terms inside the muffin-tins on the eigenvalues is small, of order 1 mRy. however, as some of the bands near the EFare flat, this effect could become noticeable in the value of DOS at EF. BACKGROUND Severe open tibia fractures are challenging to treat with a lack of published clear management *** aim was to provide an overview of the largest singlecenter experience in the literature,with minimum 1-year follow-up,of adult type 3 open tibial shaft fractures at Cambridge University hospitals(a United Kingdom major trauma center).We sought to define patient characteristics and our main outcome measures were infection,union and *** To retrospectively define patient and injury characteristics,present our surgical methods and analyze our outcomes–namely infection,union and re-fracture *** Consecutive series of 74 patients with 75 open tibial fractures treated between 2014 and 2020(26 classified as Gustilo-Anderson 3A,47 were 3B and two were 3C).Nine patients underwent intramedullary nailing(IMN),61 underwent Taylor spatial frame(TSF)fixation and 5 were treated with Masquelet technique(IMN and subsequent bone grafting).RESULTS Mean follow-up was 16 mo(IMN)and 25 mo(TSF).We had an infection rate of 6.7%(5),non-union rate of 4%(3)and re-fracture rate of 2.7%(2).Average time to union was 22 wk for IMN and 38.6 wk for ***-three cases had a bone defect with a mean of 5.4 cm(2-11).Patient age,sex,diabetes,smoking status or injury severity did not have a significant effect on union time with either fixation *** limb salvage rate was 98.7%.CONCLUSION Grade 1 to 3A injuries can effectively be treated with reamed or unreamed *** 3B/C injuries are best treated by circular external fixators as they provide good,reproducible outcomes and allow large bone defects to be addressed via distraction osteogenesis.

To predict the movement of an existing creeping landslide, monitoring and analysis of hydrological parameters are crucial. This paper analyses the hydrological parameters of an existing creeping landslide site in western Japan. The groundwater flow and resulting fluctuation in pore water pressure at the slip layer of a sliding block was simulated using a groundwater flow model. A quasithree-dimensional factor of safely of the block was obtained by combining the groundwater model with slope stability analysis methods. The results show that for prediction purposes at a creeping landslide site the time series analysis using long-term data is of limited use, because the fluctuations of ground surface movement and hydrological parameters are not completely synchronized when the factor of safety of the slope soil is in the creep movement range. The ground surface movement rate dropped after each episode of relatively big movement, even when the hydrological parameters were constant. The factor of safety of the sliding block was more influenced by groundwater recharge from the hills than by rainfall. Pore water pressure fluctuation obtained from groundwater flow model resulting from specific rainfall events indicated better relations between fluctuations in pore water pressure and ground surface movement.
