The effect of plant type on n-alkane biomarker has been widely studied,but the influence of plant type on n-alkanoic acids(n-FAs)has received less *** the effect of the distribution of n-FAs and their hydrogen isotope composition(δ^(2)h_(FA))is critical for interpreting sedimentaryδ^(2)h_(FA)values as proxies of hydroclimate and/or vegetation *** this study,we systematically investigated the distribution ofn-FAs andδ^(2)h_(FA)values across seasons on the Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP).Our results showed that there were no significant seasonal differences in n-FAs distribution andδ^(2)h_(FA)values,but there were significant differences inδ^(2)h_(FA)values across plant ***δ^(2)h_(FA)values ranged from-185‰to-125‰in dicots(-161‰±28‰),and from-215‰to-170‰in monocots(-196‰±22‰)on the *** fractionation betweenδ^(2)h_(FA)values and precipitationδ^(2)h(ε_(FA-P))was also^(2)h-enriched in dicots relative to *** the regional scale of the CLP,δ^(2)h_(FA)values were not correlated withδ^(2)h values of ***,δ^(2)h_(FA)values from the CLP were similar to expectations from a global comparison,both in terms of their mean values and high variability among plants growing in sites with similarδ^(2)h values of *** some of this variability inεFA-Pis due to the effect of plant type,a careful assessment of the likely sources of waxes in terrestrial sediments is critical when usingδ^(2)h_(FA)values for paleohydroclimate reconstruction.

Optimizing Average Electric Power During the Charging of Lithium-Ion Batteries Through the Taguchi Method

In recent times, lithium-ion batteries have been widely used owing to their high energy density, extended cycle lifespan, and minimal self-discharge rate. The design of high-speed rechargeable lithium-ion batteries faces a significant challenge owing to the need to increase average electric power during charging. This challenge results from the direct influence of the power level on the rate of chemical reactions occurring in the battery electrodes. In this study, the Taguchi optimization method was used to enhance the average electric power during the charging process of lithium-ion batteries. The Taguchi technique is a statistical strategy that facilitates the systematic and efficient evaluation of numerous experimental variables. The proposed method involved varying seven input factors, including positive electrode thickness, positive electrode material, positive electrode active material volume fraction, negative electrode active material volume fraction, separator thickness, positive current collector thickness, and negative current collector thickness. Three levels were assigned to each control factor to identify the optimal conditions and maximize the average electric power during charging. Moreover, a variance assessment analysis was conducted to validate the results obtained from the Taguchi analysis. The results revealed that the Taguchi method was an eff ective approach for optimizing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries. This indicates that the positive electrode material, followed by the separator thickness and the negative electrode active material volume fraction, was key factors significantly infl uencing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries response. The identification of optimal conditions resulted in the improved performance of lithium-ion batteries, extending their potential in various applications. This study aims to analyze the coking process and propose an effective method for the reutilization of fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)coke ***,we analyzed the basic characteristics and chemical composition of FCC coke *** results showed that the main components were carbon,oxygen,and aluminum,accounting for 60.8%,26.6%,and 11.5%,*** the conventional catalytic cracking reaction temperature from 500℃ to 600℃,the formation of the first aromatic hydrocarbon was particularly important for the formation of *** condensation of oil-gas-entrained catalyst particles and their heavy components was the physical cause of coking,while the dehydrogenation condensation reaction of oil-gas heavy components was the chemical *** addition,the membrane prepared by powdered coke had excellent photothermal conversion ability,which could be heated to more than 110℃ within 360 s under two fixed light *** evaporation rate of photothermal water was 5.89 kg m^(2) h^(−1),which has great industrial application *** works provide a novel and effective method of separation membrane for the reutilization of FCC coke blocks.

OIP5 Interacts with NCK2 to Mediate human spermatogonial stem Cell self-Renewal and Apoptosis through Cell Cyclins and Cycle Progression and Its Abnormality Is Correlated with Male Infertility

spermatogonial stem cells(ssCs)have important applications in both reproduction and regenerative ***,specific genes and signaling transduction pathways in mediating fate decisions of human ssCs remain ***,we have demonstrated for the first time that OIP5(Opa interacting protein 5)controlled the self-renewal and apoptosis of human *** sequencing identified that NCK2 was a target for OIP5 in human ssCs,and interestingly,OIP5 could interact with NCK2 as shown by Co-IP(co-immunoprecipitation),IP-Ms(mass spectrometry),and GsT pulldown ***2 silencing decreased human ssC proliferation and DNA synthesis but enhanced their ***,NCK2 knockdown reversed the influence of OIP5 overexpression on human ***,OIP5 inhibition decreased the numbers of human ssCs at s and G2/M phases,while the levels of numerous cell cycle proteins,including cyclins A2,B1,D1,E1 and h,especially cyclin D1,were remarkably ***,whole-exome sequencing of 777 patients with nonobstructive azoospermia(NOA)revealed 54 singlenucleotide polymorphism mutations of the OIP5 gene(6.95%),while the level of OIP5 protein was obviously lower in testes of NOA patients compared to fertile ***,these results implicate that OIP5 interacts with NCK2 to modulate human ssC self-renewal and apoptosis via cell cyclins and cell cycle progression and that its mutation and/or lower expression is correlated with *** such,this study offers novel insights into molecular mechanisms underlying the fate determinations of human ssCs and the pathogenesis of NOA,and it provides new targets for treating male infertility.

Global well-posedness for 2D inhomogeneous asymmetric fluids with large initial data

In this paper, by using time-weighted global estimates and the Lagrangian approach, we first investigate the global existence and uniqueness of the solution for the 2D inhomogeneous incompressible asymmetric fluids with the initial(angular) velocity being located in sub-critical sobolev spaces h^(s)(R^(2))(0she initial density being bounded from above and below by some positive constants. The global unique solvability of the 2D incompressible inhomogeneous asymmetric fluids with the initial data in the critical Besov space(u_(0), w_(0))∈˙B^(0)_(2,1)(R^(2))andρ^(−1)−1∈˙B^(ε)_(2/ε),1(R^(2))is established. In particular, the uniqueness of the solution is also obtained without any more regularity assumptions on the initial density which is an improvement on the recent result of Abidi and Gui(2021) for the 2D inhomogeneous incompressible Navierstokes system.

A systematic Review and Performance Evaluation of Open-source Tools for smart Contract Vulnerability Detection

With the rise of blockchain technology,the security issues of smart contracts have become increasingly *** the availability of numerous smart contract vulnerability detection tools,many face challenges such as slow updates,usability issues,and limited installation *** challenges hinder the adoption and practicality of these *** paper examines smart contract vulnerability detection tools from 2016 to 2023,sourced from the Web of science(WOs)and Google *** systematically collecting,screening,and synthesizing relevant research,38 open-source tools that provide installation methods were selected for further *** a developer’s perspective,this paper offers a comprehensive survey of these 38 open-source tools,discussing their operating principles,installation methods,environmental dependencies,update frequencies,and installation *** on this,we propose an Ethereum smart contract vulnerability detection *** framework enables developers to easily utilize various detection tools and accurately analyze contract security *** validate the framework’s stability,over 1700 h of testing were ***,a comprehensive performance test was performed on the mainstream detection tools integrated within the framework,assessing their hardware requirements and vulnerability detection *** results indicate that the slither tool demonstrates satisfactory performance in terms of system resource consumption and vulnerability detection *** study represents the first performance evaluation of testing tools in this domain,providing significant reference value.

Restoring cosmological concordance with axion-like early dark energy and dark matter characterized by a constant equation of state?

The hubble tension persists as a challenge in *** early dark energy(EDE)models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the hubble tension,fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions,such as the s_(8)*** that a negative dark matter(DM)equation of state(Eos)parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ_(8)parameter,we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter(CDM)with DM characterized by a constant Eos w_(dm)(referred to as WDM hereafter).We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model,along with three other models:the axion-like EDE model,ΛWDM,and Λ*** constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background,baryon acoustic oscillations,and the Pantheon compilation,as well as a prior on h_(0)(i.e.h_(0)=73.04±1.04,based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al)and a Gaussianized prior on s_(8)(i.e.s_(8)=0.766±0.017,determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOss+2dLens).We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the hubble tension to~1.4σ,it still exacerbates the s_(8)tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

Magnesium(Mg)alloys are gaining great consideration as body implant materials due to their high biodegradability and ***,they suffer from low corrosion resistance and antibacterial *** this research,semi-powder metallurgy followed by hot extrusion was utilized to produce the magnesium oxide@graphene nanosheets/magnesium(MgO@GNs/Mg)composite to improve mechanical,corrosion and cytocompatibility *** have revealed that the incorporation of MgO@GNs nanohybrids into Mg-based composite enhanced microhardness and compressive *** vitro,osteoblast cell culture tests show that using MgO@GNs nanohybrid fillers enhances osteoblast adhesion and apatite *** presence of MgO@GNs nanoparticles in the composites decreased the opening defects,micro-cracks and micro-pores of the composites thus preventing the penetration of the corrosive solution into the *** demonstrated that the MgO@GNs/Mg composite possesses excellent antibacterial properties because of the combination of the release of MgO and physical damage to bacterium membranes caused by the sharp edges of graphene nanosheets that can effectively damage the cell wall thereby facilitating penetration into the bacterial lipid ***,the MgO@GNs/Mg composite with high mechanical strength,antibacterial activity and corrosion resistance is considered to be a promising material for load-bearing implant applications.
