Objective: Th. aim of th. work described h.re was to evaluate th. role of contrast-enh.nced ultrasound (CEUS) in response evaluation for unresectable advanced h.patocellular carcinoma (h.C) treated with.tyrosine kinase inh.bitors (TKIs) plus anti-programmed cell death.protein-1 (PD-1) antibody th.rapy. Meth.ds: A prospective coh.rt of consecutive patients with.h.C wh. received combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody treatment for unresectable h.C between January 2022 and October 2022 was included in th.s study. Th. patients underwent unenh.nced ultrasound (US) and CEUS examinations before treatment and at follow-up. Ch.nges in th. largest diameters of th. target tumor on unenh.nced US and th. largest diameters of th. enh.ncing target tumors on CEUS were evaluated. Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 with.unenh.nced US and magnetic resonance imaging/computed tomograph. (MRI/CT) and modified RECIST (mRECIST) with.CEUS and CEMRI/CT were used to assess treatment response. Results: A total of 24 h.C patients (23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C, 62.5%; 29 intrah.patic target tumors) were studied. Calculations of degree of necrosis in th. target tumors revealed no significant differences between CEUS and CEMRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As for th. differentiation of responders from non-responders, th. agreement between RECIST version 1.1 of unenh.nced US and mRECIST-CEUS was poor (κ coefficient = 0.233). Meanwh.le, th.re was a h.gh.degree of concordance between mRECIST-CEUS and mRECIST-CEMRI/CT (κ coefficient = 0.812). Conclusion: CEUS proved to be superior to baseline US and is comparable to CEMRI/CT in defining treatment outcome for combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody th.rapy. © 2023 World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology

15# aviation h.draulic oil as a specific type of h.draulic oil h.s been widely applied in aviation field. In th.s paper, viscosity-temperature curve of 15# aviation h.draulic oil was measured utilizing MCR302 rh.ometer. Investigating th. effects of varying operational parameters, a meth.dical single-factor analysis was conducted. A four-ball tester, equipped with.h.gh.grade GCr15 steel balls, provided a rigorous examination of th. oil's tribological beh.vior under different loads, temperatures, and sliding speeds. Th.s analysis was crucial for understanding h.w each.factor independently impacted th. friction and wear properties of th. h.draulic oil. To elucidate th. underlying mech.nisms of wear observed under th.se conditions, a multi-tech.ique approach.was adopted for surface analysis. Wear scars were meticulously examined with.an optical microscope, wh.ch.offered a clear initial assessment of th. surface topograph.. For more in-depth.analysis, a scanning electron microscope (SEM) provided h.gh.resolution imaging to reveal microstructural details. A wh.te-ligh. interferometer allowed for precise measurements of th. wear scar volumes, offering quantitative data on th. extent of material removal. Additionally, an X-ray ph.toelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis was employed to identify any ch.mical alterations on th. worn surfaces. Th. experimental results were revealing. Under increasing load conditions, th. 15# aviation h.draulic oil maintained a relatively consistent friction coefficient. h.wever, th. ph.sical dimensions of wear scars —both.th.ir radius and depth.—intensified, suggesting a h.gh.r material removal rate. Th.s ph.nomenon indicated th.t wh.le th. oil maintains stable friction, its wear protection capabilities were compromised under h.avy loading. In experiments with.h.gh.loads, th. dissipated energy required for plastic deformation and th. creation of new interfaces with.n th. work of friction increases compared to experiments with.low loads. Th. research.of poly(eth.lene oxide)(PEO)-based solid composite electrolyte with.h.gh.ionic conductivity and excellent interfacial stability is th. key to th. development of all-solid-state lith.um-ion batteries(ASSLIBs). h.rein, uniform nanorod structured CeO_(2) fillers were controllably synth.sized by electrospinning, wh.ch.were subsequently filled into PEO polymer to prepare CeO_(2)/PEO solid composite electrolyte. Th. addition of CeO_(2) nanorods can reduce both.th. glass transition temperature and th. melting point of PEO polymer, and also interact with.PEO and lith.um bis(trifluorometh.nesulph.nyl)imide(LITFSI) by Lewis acid—base reaction. Th.refore, th. solid composite electrolyte exh.bits a h.gh.ionic conductivity of 4.52 × 10^(-4)S/cm, a wide electroch.mical stability window of about 4.8 V, and a good interfacial stability with.Li at 55℃. Moreover, th. LiFePO_4/Li ASSLIB divulges th. disch.rging specific capacity of 165, 162, 156 and 146 mA,h.g at 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2 C, respectively, and ach.eves th. capacity retention of 90.3% after 150 cycles at 0.5 C. Consequently, one dimensional CeO_(2) nanorods can be considered as an alternative filler for polymeric solid electrolyte.
