Water stress is a critical environm.ntal adversity th.t significantly im.acts th. growth. developm.nt, and yield of flax plants. In th.s study, flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirem.nts（WIR）(100%,75%, and 50%) to investigate th. effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide（NO） donor sodium.nitroprusside（SNP） as foliar treatm.nts at concentrations of 0.0 m.ol/L, 0.5 m.ol/L, 1.0 m.ol/L, and 2.0 m.ol/L. Drough. stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth. ph.tosynth.tic pigm.nts, yield com.onents such.as oil and total carboh.drate percentage. It also resulted in an increase in leaf h.O2production, lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzym.tic antioxidants including polyph.nol oxidase, superoxide dism.tase, and nitrate reductase enzym.s. h.wever, foliar application of SNP im.roved ph.tosynth.tic pigm.nts and antioxidant defense system.wh.ch.m.tigated th. negative im.act of water stress on growth.and yield productivity by reducing oxidative dam.ge caused by reactive oxygen species accum.lation. Th. use of SNP also decreased h.O2accum.lation levels, lipid peroxidation levels, and im.roved m.m.rane stability. SNP treatm.nt at concentration of 2 m.ol/L sh.wed superior results com.ared to oth.r concentrations with.extrem.ly significant increases observed in yield ch.racteristics such.as oil content, total carboh.drate percentages, and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.

In th.s paper, a novel param.tric m.del-based decom.osition m.th.d is proposed for structural h.alth.m.nitoring of tim.-varying structures. For th.s purpose, th. advanced Functional-Series Tim.-dependent Auto Regressive m.ving Average （FS-TARm.） tech.ique is used to estim.te th. param.ters and innovation variance used in th. param.tric signal decom.osition sch.m.. Additionally, a unique feature extraction and reduction m.th.d based on th. decom.osed signals, known as Latent Com.onents （LCs）, is proposed. To evaluate th. efficiency of th. proposed m.th.d, num.rical sim.lation and an experim.ntal study in th. laboratory were conducted on a tim.-varying structure, wh.re various types of dam.ge were introduced. Th. Fuzzy Expert System.（FES） was used as a classification toot to dem.nstrate th.t th. proposed m.th.d successfully identifies different structural conditions wh.n com.ared with.oth.r m.th.ds based on non-reduced and ordinary feature extraction.

In th.s paper, th. practicality and feasibility of Active Force Control （AFC） integrated with.Fuzzy Logic（AFCAFL） applied to a two link planar arm.actuated by a pair of Pneum.tic Artificial m.scle （PAm. is investigated. Th. study em.h.sizes on th. application and control of PAm.actuators wh.ch.m.y be considered as th. new generation of actuators com.rising fluidic m.scle th.t h.s h.gh.tension force, h.gh.power to weigh. ratio and h.gh.strength.in spite of its drawbacks in th. form.of h.gh.nonlinearity beh.viour, h.gh.h.steresis and tim. varying param.ters. Fuzzy Logic （FL） is used as a tech.ique to estim.te th. best value of th. inertia m.trix of robot arm.essential for th. AFC m.ch.nism.th.t is com.lem.nted with.a conventional Propor- tional-Integral-Derivative （PID） control at th. outerm.st loop. A sim.lation study was first perform.d followed by an experi- m.ntal investigation for validation. Th. experim.ntal study was based on th. independent joint tracking control and coordinated m.tion control of th. arm.in Cartesian or task space. In th. form.r, th. PAm.actuated arm.is com.anded to track th. prescribed trajectories due to h.rm.nic excitations at th. joints for a given frequency, wh.reas for th. latter, two sets of trajectories with.different loadings were considered. A practical rig utilizing a h.rdware-In-Th.-Loop Sim.lation （h.LS） configuration was developed and a num.er of experim.nts were carried out. Th. results of th. experim.nt and th. sim.lation works were in good agreem.nt, wh.ch.verified th. effectiveness and robustness of th. proposed AFCAFL sch.m. actuated by PAm.

In th. urban atm.sph.re of Bengaluru, various volatile organic com.ounds(VOCs), particularly Benzene,Toluene, Eth.lbenzene, and Xylene(BTEX), h.ve sh.wn an increasing trend in concentration. Th. present research.was conducted during sum.er and m.nsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanah.lli, a h.gh.traffic area with.n th. Bengaluru m.tropolitan City. h.urly sam.le data was collected using a BTEX analyzer(m.del GC955-600) and subsequently transform.d into daily, m.nth.y, and seasonal values. Th. study revealed distinct patterns in benzene concentrations. Benzene levels were lowest during th. early m.rning h.urs, specifically from.1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations th.n increased from.7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from.4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresponding to th. m.rning and evening peak traffic h.urs. h.wever, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., th. concentration decreased due to reduced traffic levels. Th.se diurnal variations in benzene concentration are influenced by m.teorological param.ters. Com.aring th. two seasons, h.gh.r concentrations of Benzene, Eth.lBenzene, and m.-xylene were observed during th. sum.er season. Th.s increase is attributed to th. elevated tem.eratures during sum.er, wh.ch.prom.te th. vaporization of BTEX com.ounds. Conversely, lower BTEX concentrations were recorded during th. m.nsoon season due to th. wet deposition process. Th. observed positive correlation(r > 0.5) am.ng BTEX param.ters strongly suggests a com.on source, m.st likely originating from.veh.cular em.ssions.

In m.li, ch.lesteatom. surgery rem.ins a ch.llenge due to th. lim.ted num.er of otological practitioners, and th. low socio-econom.c level of patients reflecting th. difficulties in perform.ng CT or m.I for post-operative follow-up. We th.refore initiated th.s work with.th. objective of analyzing, th.ough.a broad bibliograph.c review, th. clinical, paraclinical, topograph.cal, th.rapeutic and progressive aspects of a series of ear ch.lesteatom.. m.terials and m.th.d: Th.s was a retrospective and prospective, descriptive study th.t took place in th. ENT and h.ad and neck surgery departm.nt of th. Gabriel Touré University h.spital over 36 m.nth. from.Novem.er 2020 to October 2023. Th.se were patients adm.tted to th. departm.nt for ch.onic ch.lestem.tous otitis m.dia. Result: In total, we collected 34 files of patients adm.tted for ch.lesteatom.. Th.s represented 9% of cases com.ared to all otological surgeries carried out during th. sam. period, i.e. 362 cases. Th. average age of our patients was 35.31 years, with.extrem.s ranging from.7 years to 80 years, th.re were 24 m.n and 10 wom.n, i.e. a m.F ratio of 2.4. Th. average tim. to diagnosis was 7 years. Th. m.in functional signs were dom.nated by ch.onic fetid purulent otorrh.a associated with.h.poacusis in 94.6% of cases. One case of m.ningeal com.lication and th.ee cases of cerebral em.yem. were reported. Clinically, a postero-superior and m.rginal tym.anic perforation was observed in 53%, a retraction pocket in 5.9%, th. sentinel polyp in 9%, and a non-m.rginal tym.anic perforation in 32%. Pure-tone audiom.try perform.d preoperatively for all patients sh.wed conductive h.aring loss in 83%. In 82% of cases we created a recess with.th. creation of a m.ni box. An ossiculoplasty was perform.d im.ediately with.fragm.nts of cartilage. Th. search.for new biom.rkers predictive of type 2 diabetes currently constitutes a research.avenue in Bioclinical. Total h.m.cysteine rem.ins a preferred target due to its involvem.nt in th. occurrence of degenerative com.lications in type 2 diabetics. Th. aim.of th.s work was to study h.perh.m.cysteinem.a and oth.r bioch.m.cal m.rkers associated with.T2D in th. Congolese population. Th.s was an analytical case-control study carried out between October 2022 and October 2023. Th. study population consisted of 150 subjects including 100 T2D patients and 50 control subjects. Th. m.in clinical data were collected on a pre-establish.d form. h.m.cysteine determ.nation was carried out by th. sandwich.ELISA m.th.d. Th. oth.r bioch.m.cal m.rkers were m.asured by colorim.tric enzym.tic m.th.ds. h.perh.m.cysteinem.a was present in 27.3% (41/150) of th. entire study population. Type 2 diabetics h.d a frequency of h.perh.m.cysteinem.a of 36% (36/100) and control 10% (5/50) (p = 0.001). Th. m.an h.perh.m.cysteinem.a concentration was 31.9 μm.l/l with.extrem.s ranging from.18 to 103 μm.l/l. m.ans of biological m.rkers between diabetics and controls sh.wed a statistically significant difference (p = 0.01). Th. risk factors associated with.th.s h.cy were: sex (OR = 3.5), age (OR = 9.4), sedentary lifestyle (OR = 3.4) and glycosylated h.m.globin (OR = 12) with.a p-value h.t h.perh.m.cysteinem.a can be considered as a predictive biom.rker in th. bioclinic of Congolese type 2 diabetic patients.
