Due to its mech.nical properties and ease of use, vinyl ester resin is enjoying increasing consideration. Th.s resin normally is produced by reaction between epoxy resin and unsaturated carboxylic acid. In th. present study, bis-ph.nol A based epoxy resin and meth.crylic acid was used to produce vinyl ester resin. Th. reaction was conducted under both.stoich.ometric and non-stoich.ometric conditions in th. presence of triph.nylph.sph.ne as catalyst. Th. stoich.ometric and non-stoich.ometric experiments were conducted at 95, 100, 105 and 110℃ and at 90 and 95℃, respectively. Th. first order rate equation and mech.nism based rate equation were examined. Parameters are evaluated by least square meth.d. A comparison of mech.nism based rate equation and experimental data sh.w an excellent agreement. Finally, Arrh.nius equation and activation energy were presented.

In th.s study, new nano sph.rical graph.ne modified with.LDh.Layered Double h.droxide) was prepared and used to remove As(Ⅲ) ion from aqueous solutions. At first, graph.ne oxide was synth.sized from graph.te using a well-known h.mmer meth.d. Th. obtained graph.ne oxide solution was sprayed in octanol solution under different temperatures and sprayed speed as influenced variables. Th. structure and ph.sical ch.racterization of synth.sized sph.rical graph.ne oxide were determined by various tech.iques,including FT-IR, N_(2) adsorption–desorption, SEM, TEM, and EDX. In th. next step, th. h.droth.rmal meth.d was applied to deposition LDh.on th. sph.rical graph.ne oxide. Th. synth.sized sph.rical graph.ne modified by LDh.was used to remove As(Ⅲ) as a toxic h.avy metal ion. Th. effect of influenced variables including p h. contact time, amount of sorbent, and type eluent studied and th. optimum values were as 8, 30, 50, and h.l(0.5 mol·L^(-1)), respectively. After optimization, th. studied sorbent was sh.wn a h.gh.adsorption capacity(149.3 mg·g^(-1)). Th. adsorption mech.nism and kinetic models exh.bited good agreement with.th. Langmuir isoth.rm and pseudo-second-order trends, respectively. Besides, th. synth.sized product was tested for seven times with.ut significant loss in its sorption efficiency.

Th. numerical solutions to th. singular integral equations obtained by th. fracture mech.nical analyses of a cracked wedge under th.ee different conditions are considered. Th. th.ee considered conditions are:(i) a radial crack on a wedge with.a nonfinite radius under th. traction-traction boundary condition,(ii) a radial crack on a wedge with.a finite radius under th. traction-traction boundary condition, and(iii) a radial crack on a finite radius wedge under th. traction-displacement boundary condition. According to th. boundary conditions, th. extracted singular integral equations h.ve different forms. Numerical meth.ds are used to solve th. obtained coupled singular integral equations, wh.re th. Gauss-Legendre and th. Gauss-Ch.bysh.v polynomials are used to approximate th. responses of th. singular integral equations. Th. results are presented in figures and compared with.th.se obtained by th. analytical response. Th. results sh.w th.t th. obtained Gauss-Ch.bysh.v polynomial response is closer to th. analytical response.

Th. corrosion inh.bition of mild steel in 1 mol/L h.l by N, N′-bis (2-h.droxybenzaldeh.de)-1, 3-propandiimine (2-h.P) h.s been investigated by using potentiodynamic polarization, electroch.mical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and ch.onoamperometry measurements. Th. experimental results suggest th.t th.s compound is an excellent corrosion inh.bitor for mild steel and th. inh.bition efficiency increases with.th. increase in inh.bitor concentration. Polarization curves reveal th.t th.s organic compound is a mixed type inh.bitor. Th. effect of temperature on th. corrosion beh.vior of mild steel with.th. addition of th. Sch.ff base was studied in th. temperature range from 25℃ to 65℃. Th. experimentally obtained adsorption isoth.rms follow th. Langmuir equation. Activation and th.rmodynamic adsorption parameters such.as E a , Δh. ΔS, K ads and ΔG ads were calculated by th. corrosion currents at different temperatures and using th. adsorption isoth.rm. Th. morph.logy of mild steel surface in th. absence and presence of 2-h.P was examined by atomic force microscope (AFM) images.

Th. astroph.sical S-factor of th. 4h.＋12C radiative capture is calculated in th. potential model at th. energy range 0.1-2.0 MeV. Radiative capture 12C（α,γ） 16O is extremely relevant for th. fate of massive stars and determines if th. remnant of a supernova explosion becomes a black h.le or a neutron star. Because th.s reaction occurs at low energies, th. experimental measurements are very difficult and perh.ps impossible. In th.s paper, radiative capture of th. 12C（α,γ） 16O reaction at very low energies is taken as a case study. In comparison with.oth.r th.oretical meth.ds and available experimental data, good agreement is ach.eved for th. astroph.sical S-factor of th.s process.

Electrospinning is a useful and efficient tech.ique to produce polymeric nanofibers. Nanofibers of polymers are electrospun by creating an electrically ch.rged jet of polymer solution. Numerical study on non-Newtonian and viscoelastic jets of polymer nanofibers in electrospinning process is presented in th.s work. In particular, th. effect of non-Newtonian rh.ology on th. jet profile during th. electrospinning process is examined. Th. governing equations of th. problem are solved numerically using th. Keller-Box meth.d. Th. effects of yield stress and power-law index on th. elongation, velocity, stress and total force are presented and discussed in detail. Th. results sh.w th.t by increasing th. values of yield stress, th. fluid elongation is reduced significantly.

A molecular dynamics study to investigate th. cavity control of Prefoldin based bio nano actuator is presented in th.s paper. Prefoldin is a molecular ch.perone with.a jellyfish.like structure containing six long coiled-coil tentacles and a large central cavity. We took th. temperature and p h.of th. medium into account,and analyzed th. conformational flexibility of th. Prefoldin nano actuator in details. Results sh.w th.t th. prefoldin is a very flexible protein, th. conformational state of wh.ch.appears to depend on th. temperature and p h.values of th. medium. In fact, combining th.se two control parameters, a suitable environment is provided to capture nano cargoes with.specific dimensions. Th.se properties of Prefoldin actuator can be used for drug delivery in th. body.
