A new em.irical form.la for the astrophysical S-factor has been suggested as a function of the Coulom. interaction param.ter,center of m.ss energy,and barrier *** 22 fusion reactions with ^(40,48)Ca as projectiles were considered for different targets,leading to com.ound nuclei with atom.c and m.ss num.ers varying between 40≤Z≤≤Z≤112 and 88≤A≤27888≤A≤278,*** fusion cross-sections have been estim.ted using the geom.tric factor,the Gam.w-Som.erfield factor,and the em.irical form.la for the *** study's findings showed better agreem.nt with those of available experim.nts when com.ared to Wong's *** present work leads to a sm.ller standard deviation value than Wong's form.la when used to correlate the experim.ntal data of calcium.induced fusion ***'s form.la provides a good approxim.tion of fusion cross-sections when the center of m.ss energy is below the fusion barrier when com.ared to above the fusion barrier.

Solar wind charge exchange produces em.ssions in the soft X-ray energy range which can enable the study of near-Earth space regions such as the m.gnetopause,the m.gnetosheath and the polar cusps by rem.te sensing *** Solar wind m.gnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(Sm.LE)and Lunar Environm.nt heliospheric X-ray Im.ger(LEXI)m.ssions aim.to obtain soft Xray im.ges of near-Earth space thanks to their Soft X-ray Im.ger(SXI)*** earlier m.deling works have already sim.lated soft X-ray im.ges as m.ght be obtained by Sm.LE SXI during its m.ssion,the num.rical m.dels used so far are all based on the m.gnetohydrodynam.cs description of the space *** investigate the possible signatures of ion-kinetic-scale processes in soft Xray im.ges,we use for the first tim. a global hybrid-Vlasov sim.lation of the geospace from.the Vlasiator *** sim.lation is driven by fast and tenuous solar wind conditions and purely southward interplanetary m.gnetic *** first produce global X-ray im.ges of the dayside near-Earth space by placing a virtual im.ging satellite at two different locations,providing m.ridional and equatorial *** then analyze regional features present in the im.ges and show that they correspond to signatures in soft X-ray em.ssions of m.rrorm.de wave structures in the m.gnetosheath and flux transfer events(FTEs)at the *** results suggest that,although the tim. scales associated with the m.tion of those transient phenom.na will likely be significantly sm.ller than the integration tim. of the Sm.LE and LEXI im.gers,m.rror-m.de structures and FTEs can cum.latively produce detectable signatures in the soft X-ray *** instance,a local increase by 30%in the proton density at the dayside m.gnetopause resulting from.the transit of m.ltiple FTEs leads to a 12%enhancem.nt in the line-of-sight-and tim.-integrated soft X-ray em.ssivity originating from.this ***,a proton density increase by 14%in the m.gnetosheath

In-situ electron irradiation and aging are applied to introduce high-density precipitates in an m.-10Gd-3Y-1Zn-0.5Zr(GWZ1031K,wt.%)alloy to im.rove the *** results show that the hardness of the m. alloy after irradiation for 10 h and aging for 9 h at 250℃ is 1.64 GPa,which is approxim.tely 64% higher than that of the sam.les before being *** is m.inly attributed to γ'precipitates on the basal plane after irradiation and the high-density nanoscale β'precipitates on the prism.tic plane after aging,which should be closely related to the irradiation-induced hom.genous *** latter plays a key role in precipitation *** result paves a way to im.rove the m.chanical properties of m.tallic m.terials by tailoring the precipitation through irradiation and aging.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of m. alloys seriously lim.t their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily form. m.ny intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy com.osite coating on m. alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assem.ly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be hom.geneously dispersed within the epoxy m.trix to fill the intrinsic defects and im.rove the barrier *** Ce film.connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG com.osite coating is 2131 tim.s lower than that of bare m. alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The im.roved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive m.dium.and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from.the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the im.rovem.nt of m.lti-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the developm.nt of novel com.osite protection coatings of m. alloys.

Fem.le Infertility and Obesity across the United States—A Geographic Cross-Sectional Analysis

This cross-sectional study investigates a connection between fem.le infertility and obesity across various regions of the United States, utilizing data from.the NIh’s “All of Us” Researcher Workbench. Analysis suggested that the Southern region exhibited the highest percentage of concurrently infertile and obese fem.les at 32.3%, in contrast to the lowest in the Western region at 28.7%. The findings underscore the significant regional disparities in obesity-related infertility, particularly in m.dically underserved areas where healthcare access is lim.ted. The study highlights the urgent need for targeted public health interventions, particularly in the Southern United States, to address the rising prevalence of obesity and its im.act on infertility. Further, these results advocate for enhanced public health education and policies aim.d at im.roving healthcare accessibility, with the goal of m.tigating the adverse effects of obesity on reproductive health.

In this study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film.has been synthesized via solvent *** film.was used as supporting m.terial for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose *** nanoparticles have been prepared via the green route using olive leaves extract as a ***/Ppy nanocom.osite has been synthesized by a sim.le in-situ chem.cal oxidative polym.rization of pyrrole(Py)m.nom.r using ferric chloride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing *** produced m.terials and the com.osite film. were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron m.croscope(SEm.,Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)and therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully im.obilized on the surface of the prepared film.and then ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx com.osite was sputtered with platinum.electrode for the current determ.nation at different initial concentrations of *** m.asurem.nts proved the suitability and the high sensitivity of the constructed biosensor for the detection of glucose levels in different *** perform.nce of the prepared biosensor has been assessed by m.asuring and com.aring glucose concentrations up to 800 *** results affirm.d the reliability of the developed biosensor towards real sam.les which suggests the wide-scale application of the proposed biosensor.

This paper presents a sm.rt checkout system.designed to m.tigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based system. used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm.called Im.roved Laser Sim.lator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system.was able to im.rove the accuracy of item.identification,reduce noise interference,and stream.ine the overall checkout *** potential of the system.or noise detection and elim.nation was initially investigated through a sim.lation study usingm.TLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a sm.ll-scale environm.nt to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm.ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related item.while elim.nating noise originating from.nrelated objects,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.
