Sparse measurements challenge fault location in distribution *** paper proposes a method for asymmetric ground fault location in distribution networks with limited measurements.A virtual injected current vector is formulated to estimate the fault line,which can be reconstructed from voltage sags measured at a few buses using compressive sensing(CS).The relationship between the virtual injected current ratio(VICR)and fault position is deduced from circuit analysis to pinpoint the ***,a two-stage recovery strategy is proposed for improving reconstruction accuracy of the current vector,where two different sensing matrixes are utilized to improve the *** proposed method is validated in IEEE 34 node test *** results show asymmetric ground fault type,resistance,fault position and access of distributed generators(DGs)do not significantly influence performance of our *** addition,it works effectively under various scenarios of noisy measurement and line parameter *** on 134 node test feeders prove the proposed method is also suitable for systems with more complex structure.

At different annealing temperatures, the saturation magnetostrictions and the correlation between the permeability μi and the temperature T （μi-T curves） of the Co66Fe4Mo2Si16B12 alloy were investigated using a small-angle magnetization tester and core tester. The experimental results showed that the μi-T curves had different shapes at different ranges of annealing temperature; the permeability μi of the alloy improved with the increase of the annealing temperatures below 460℃; when the alloy was annealed above 480℃, the poor magnetic properties were considered to be caused by larger saturation magnetostriction.

The steady-state creep behavior of unidirectional C/C(1-D-C/C) composite with pyrolytic carbon matrix was investigated at high temperatures up to 2160℃ and under tensile stress from 133.83 to 213.46MPa. Based on the creep experiment of single specimen method, the apparent activation energy and the stress exponent for steadystate creep were determined by the use of a self-made apparatus and an auto-testing system. Value of apparent activation volume is provided and the creep mechanism has also been discussed.

Background： This study was conducted to evaluate the apparent metabolizable energy （AME） and true metabolizable energy （TME） contents in 30 sources of corn distillers dried grains with solubles （DDGS） in adult roosters, and establish the prediction equations to estimate the AME and TME value based on its chemical composition and color score. Methods： Twenty-eight sources of corn DDGS made from several processing plants in 11 provinces of China and others imported from the United States. DDGS were analyzed for their metabolizable energy （ME） contents, measured for color score and chemical composition （crude protein, crude fat, ash, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber）, to predict the equation of ME in DDGS. A precision-fed rooster assay was used, each DDGS sample was tube fed （50 g） to adult roosters. The experiment was conducted as a randomized incomplete block design with 3 periods. Ninety-five adult roosters were used in each period, with 90 being fed the DDGS samples and 5 being fasted to estimate basal endogenous energy losses. Results： Results showed that the AME ranged from 5.93 to 12.19 MJ/kg, TME ranged from 7.28 to 13.54 MJ/kg. Correlations were found between ME and ash content （-0.64, P 〈 0.0]） and between ME and yellowness score （0.39, P 〈 0.05） of the DDGS samples. Furthermore, the best-fit regression equation for AME content of DDGS based on chemical composition and color score was AME = 6.57111 ＋ 0.5]475 GE - 0.10003 NDF ＋ 0.1 3380 ADF ＋ 0.07057 fat - 0.57029 ash - 0.02437 L （R^2 = 0.70）. The best-fit regression equation for TME content of DDGS was TME = 7.92283 ＋ 0.51475 GE - 0.10003 NDF ＋ 0.13380 ADF ＋ 0.07057 fat - 0.57029 ash - 0.02437 L （R2 = 0.70）. Conclusions： This experiment suggested that measuring the chemical composition and color score of a corn DDGS sample may provide a quality parameter for identifying corn DDGS sources energy digestibility and metabolizable energy content.

A unidirectional carbon/carbon composite (1D-C/C) of low bulk density with textures of poruns granular and isotropic carbons sharply manifests brittle fracture and does not display high pseudoplasticity as expected. The results of transmisson electron microscopy (TEM) studies show that the strong interface of fiber-matrix should determine its fracture mode.

Ce is prone to catastrophic oxidation at room temperature and its oxidation resistance is difficult to be improved by ***,we found that the oxidation resistance of active metal Ce can be significantly improved by the addition of 20 at.%*** ion beam lift-out technique and scanning transmission electron microscopy analysis disclosed that a discontinuous Ga-rich layer was generated beneath the oxide layer in the coarse-grained Ce-Ga *** Ga-rich layer formed by selective oxidation of Ce acts as a diffusion barrier for Ce outward diffusion and ceases the O/M interfacial reaction when a critical concentration of Ga(75 at.%)is *** nanocrystallization,uniform distribution of Ga was *** oxidation,a relatively continuous Ga-rich layer was formed which further enhanced the oxidation *** introduction of noble elements combining with nanocrystallization may provide a novel strategy for the protection of metals with high activity and poor oxidation resistance.

The astrophysical S-factor forα-^(3)h radiative capture is calculated at astrophysical *** construct conserved two-and three-body electromagnetic currents,using minimal substitution in the explicit momentum dependence of the two-and three-nucleon *** realistic Argonne v_(18) two-nucleon and Urbana IX or Tucson–Melbourne three-nucleon interactions are considered for *** extrapolation of results for the astrophysical S-factor at zero energy,the energy in the order of 1 keV and less is found to be S(0)=0.107(0.112)keV·b,with(without)three-body interactions in satisfactory agreement with other theoretical results and experimental data.

Manufacturing process,diffusion co-efficient and areal capacity are the three main criteria for regulating thick electrodes for lithium-ion batteries(liBs).however,simultaneously regulating these criteria for liBs is desirable but remains a significant *** this work,niobium pentoxide(Nb_(2)O_(5))anode and lithium iron phosphate(liFePO_(4))cathode materials were chosen as the model materials and demonstrate that these three parameters can be simultaneously modulated by incorporation of micro-carbon fibers(MCF)and carbon nanotubes(CNT)with both Nb_(2)O_(5) and LFP via vacuum filtration *** as-prepared MNC-20 anode and MLC-20 cathode achieves high reversible areal capacity of≈5.4 m A h cm^(-2)@0.1 C and outstanding li-ion diffusion coefficients of≈10~(-8)cm~2 s~(-1)in the half-cell *** assembled MNC-20‖MLC-20 full cell liB delivers maximum energy and power densities of244.04 W h kg^(-1)and 108.86 W kg^(-1),*** excellent electrochemical properties of the asprepared thick electrodes can be attributed to the highly conductive,mechanical compactness and multidimensional mutual effects of the MCF,CNT and active materials that facilitates rapid li-ion diffusion ***,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),symmetric cells analysis,and insitu Raman techniques clearly validates the enhanced li-ion diffusion kinetics in the present architecture.

Over the past few decades,significant improvements in maize yield have been largely attributed to increased plant density of upright hybrid varieties rather than increased yield per ***,dense planting triggers shade avoidance responses(SARs)that optimize light absorption but impair plant vigor and performance,limiting yield improvement through increasing plant *** this study,we demonstrated that high-density-induced leaf angle narrowing and stem/stalk elongation are largely dependent on phytochrome B(phyB1/B2),the primaryphotoreceptor responsible for perceiving red(R)and far-red(FR)light in *** found that maize phyB physically interacts with the liGULELESS1(LG1),a classical key regulator of leaf angle,to coordinately regulate plant architecture and density *** abundance of LG1 is significantly increased by phyB under high R:FR light(low density)but rapidly decreases under low R:FR light(high density),correlating with variations in leaf angle and plant height under various *** addition,we identified the homeobox transcription factor hB53 as a target co-repressed by both phyB and LG1 but rapidly induced by canopy *** and cellular analyses showed that hB53 regulates plant architecture by controlling the elongation and division of ligular adaxial and abaxial *** together,these findings uncover the phyB-LG1-hB53 regulatory module as a key molecular mechanism governing plant architecture and density tolerance,providing potential genetic targets for breeding maize hybrid varieties suitable for high-density planting.
