Multi-point impact behavior and the relationship between CAI strength and DBIP of PMI foam sandwich structures

Sandwich structures are vulnerable to multi-point impacts,and such impacts can result in a reduction in residual strength even catastrophic ***,the multi-point impact behaviors of PMI foam sandwich structure are investigated and studied using experimental and numerical coupled *** impact energy levels and five Distances Between Impact Positions(DBIP)are considered in details,and representative impact characteristics are compared to reveal the association between Compression After Impact(CAI)strength and *** indicate that the interference between the multi-point impact events has a dominant effect on CAI strength when DBIP is small,and the variation in bending stiffness induced by the boundary effect is the dominant factor affecting CAI strength when DBIP ranges from 20 mm to 60 *** addition,matrix damage represents the primary damage mode in multi-point impact,and the calculated ratio of energy absorbed by the top face sheet and honeycomb core,in relation to the total absorbed energy,serves as a clear indicator of the damage severity experienced by both *** work is enlightening for the structural design of impact-resistant composites.

Human herpesvirus 6(HHV-6)is a significant pathogen following solid organ ***,we report a 64-year-old female with cirrhosis related to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease who underwent orthotopic allogeneic liver transplantation and was ultimately diagnosed with HHV-6 encephalitis through cerebrospinal fluid analysis and *** treatment with daily ganciclovir was initiated according to characteristics indicative of viral encephalitis 3 days before confirmed *** improvement in symptoms was observed,with clearance of HHV-6 from the *** complex diagnosis and management of this case accentuate the possibility of serious consequences of HHV-6 infection in postoperative liver transplant *** must maintain a high index of suspicion for HHV-6 reactivation,especially given its association with immunosuppressive drug *** recognition and initiation of antiviral therapy are paramount,particularly when patients present with fever or psychiatric symptoms,as these may indicate HHV-6 encephalitis.

Objective:Sex-specific differences are observed in various liver diseases,but the influence of sex on the outcomes of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after liver transplantation(LT)remains to be *** study is the first Chinese nationwide investigation of the role of sex in post-LT outcomes in patients with ***:Data for recipients with HCC registered in the China Liver Transplant Registry between January 201. and December 2020 were *** associations between donor,recipient,or donor-recipient transplant patterns by sex and the post-LT outcomes were studied with propensity score matching(PSM).The survival associated with different sex-based donor-recipient transplant patterns was further ***:Among 3,769 patients enrolled in this study,the 1.,3-,and 5-year overall survival(OS)rates of patients with HCC after LT were 96.1.,86.4%,and 78.5%,respectively,in female recipients,and 95.8%,79.0%,and 70.7%,respectively,in male recipients after PSM(P=0.009).However,the OS was comparable between recipients with female donors and male *** analysis indicated that male recipient sex was a risk factor for post-LT survival(HR=1.381.P=0.046).Among the donor-recipient transplant patterns,the male-male donor-recipient transplant pattern was associated with the poorest post-LT survival(P<0.05).Conclusions:Our findings highlighted that the post-LT outcomes of female recipients were significantly superior to those of male recipients,and the male-male donor-recipient transplant pattern was associated with the poorest post-LT *** from male donors may provide the most benefit to female *** results indicate that sex should be considered as a critical factor in organ allocation.

肝细胞癌(简称肝癌)易侵犯门静脉系统,1.%~40%肝癌患者在初诊时已合并肉眼可见门静脉癌栓。在欧美国家,众多肝癌诊治指南将肝癌合并肉眼可见门静脉癌栓定义为进展期肝癌,故推荐该部分患者进行系统治疗。而在亚洲国家,外科医师对于肝癌合并门静脉癌栓的处理方式更加积极,认为其并不是手术绝对禁忌证。目前,关于肝癌合并门静脉癌栓的治疗,尚无全球性共识或标准指南。肝移植是不可切除肝癌的根治性治疗措施,但肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者行肝移植后肿瘤复发率高,故肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者一度被视为肝移植的禁忌证。此外,肝癌合并门静脉癌栓常被认为存在肿瘤肝外转移。但临床实践中,在无有效治疗措施的情况下,越来越多的肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者转向寻求肝移植并最终成功进行了手术。与此同时,诸多研究表明在合理选择受体的前提下,肝移植可以使肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者生存受益。尤其是同其他治疗方案比较,在采用降期治疗(包括三维适形放疗、经肝动脉化疗栓塞、立体定向体部放疗、经肝动脉放疗栓塞、经肝动脉灌注化疗等)成功的肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者中继续行肝移植可使患者获得更佳预后。鉴于肝移植在肝癌合并门静脉癌栓患者中的治疗争议显著,笔者深入阐述肝癌合并门静脉癌栓肝移植治疗进展,主要包括肝癌合并门静脉癌栓诊断和分型、支持肝移植证据以及反对肝移植理由。

Acute lung injury（ALI） is a severe inflammatory condition with a high mortality rate, often precipitated by sepsis. The pathophysiology of ALI involves complex mechanisms, including inflammation, oxidative stress, and ferroptosis, a novel form of regulated cell death. This study explores the therapeutic potential of andrographolide（AG）, a bioactive compound derived from Andrographis, in mitigating Lipopolysaccharide（LPS）-induced inflammation and ferroptosis. Our research employed in vitro experiments with RAW264.7 macrophage cells and in vivo studies using a murine model of LPS-induced ALI. The results indicate that AG significantly suppresses the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits ferroptosis in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. In vivo, AG treatment markedly reduces lung edema, decreases inflammatory cell infiltration, and mitigates ferroptosis in lung tissues of LPS-induced ALI mice. These protective effects are mediated via the modulation of the Toll-like receptor 4（TLR4）/Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1.Keap1./Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2（Nrf2） signaling pathway. Molecular docking simulations identified the binding sites of AG on the TLR4 protein(Kd value:-33.5 kcal·mol-1., and these interactions were further corroborated by Cellular Thermal Shift Assay（CETSA） and SPR assays. Collectively, our findings demonstrate that AG exerts potent anti-inflammatory and anti-ferroptosis effects in LPS-induced ALI by targeting TLR4 and modulating the Keap1.Nrf2 pathway. This study underscores AG's potential as a therapeutic agent for ALI and provides new insights into its underlying mechanisms of action.

In September 201.,we proposed the cutting-edge concept of“Beyond Limits Manufacturing”(BLM).BLM technology is based on the three-dimensional inner engraving or precise outer engraving of ultra-fast laser,to invent micro/nano scale flow chips or devices,which makes it possible for the microform,integration,economy,safety,high efficiency,green and intelligence of research,development and manufacturing process,so as to realize transformational manufacturing in the era of Industry *** this paper,we reviewed the representative results we made in the field of micro/nano flow chemistry during the implementation of the BLM major project(December 201. to August 2023),and discussed its application prospects in micro/nano flow chemistry.

中国走向世界的内在驱动与世界了解中国的外在需求等因素,推动中国当代非虚构文学走向英语世界,其英译出版模式由单一的国外出版社译入发展为国内出版社译出与国外出版社译入齐头并举的局面。然而,译出作品与译入作品在选题倾向和叙事类型上都存在差异,隐含着不同的传播意图。前者重宏大叙事,旨在塑造正面中国形象,后者重个体叙事,偏于揭秘与苦难书写。两组作品在英语世界的接受效果差异巨大,译出作品在英语世界传播不畅,译入作品被广泛阅读评论。整体来看,个体叙事类型的作品比宏大叙事类型的作品更容易被英语读者接受。从叙事类型入手选择文本向英语世界译介,或许是中国当代非虚构文学走进英语世界的可选之路。

Stripe rust,caused by Puccinia striiformis ***(Pst),is a devastating disease in wheat *** and characterizing new resistance genes/QTL is crucial for wheat breeding *** this study,we fine-mapped and characterized a stripe rust resistance gene,YRAYH,on chromosome arm 5BL in the Chinese wheat landrace Anyuehong(AYH).Evaluations of stripe rust response to prevalent Chinese Pst races in near-isogenic lines derived from a cross of Anyuehong and Taichung 29 showed that YrAYH conferred a high level of resistance at all growth *** mapping using a large segregating population of 9748 plants,narrowed the YRAYH locus to a 3.7 Mb interval on chromosome arm 5BL that included 61.annotated *** analysis of two NIL pairs identified 64 upregulated differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in the resistant NILs(NILs-R).Annotations indicated that many of these genes have roles in plant disease resistance *** a combined approach of fine-mapping and transcriptome sequencing,we identified a serine/threonine-protein kinase SRPK as a candidate gene underlying YrAYH.A unique 25 bp insertion was identified in the NILs-R compared to the NILs-S and previously published wheat *** InDel marker was developed and co-segregated with *** trait evaluation of the NILs suggested that YrAYH not only reduces the impact of stripe rust but was also associated with a gene that increases plant height and spike length.
