Strain OH11, a Gram-negative, nonspore forming, rod-shaped bacterium with powerful antagonistic activity, was isolated from rhizosphere of green pepper in Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China and characterized to determine its taxonomic position. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis revealed that strain OH11 belongs to the Gammaproteobacteria and had the highest degree of sequence similarity to Lysobacter enzymogenes strain C3 （AY074793）（99%）, Lysobacter enzymogenes strain N4-7 （U89965）（99%）, Lysobacter antibioticus strain （AB019582）（97%）, and Lysobacter gummosus strain （AB16136）（97%）. Chemotaxonomic data revealed that strain OHI 1 possesses a quinine system with Q-8 as the predominant compound and C15：0 iso, C17：1 iso ω9c as the predominant iso-branched fatty acids, all of which corroborated the assignment of strain OH11 to the genus Lysobacter. Results of DNA-DNA hybridization and physiological and biochemical tests clearly showed that strain OH11 was classified as Lysobacter enzymogenes. Strain OH11 could produce protease, chitinase, and β-1,3-glucanase. It showed strong in vitro antifungal activity against Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia scletotiorum, and several other phytopathogenic fungi. This is the first report of identification and characterization of Lysobacter enzymogenes as a biological control agent of plant diseases in China.

Disordered hyperuniformity(DHU)is a recently discovered novel state of amorphous systems characterized by strongly suppressed density fluctuations at large length scales as in crystalline materials,which offers great potential for achieving unusual mechanical,electronic,and photonic ***,despite the fundamental and technological importance of thermal transport in amorphous solids,the effect of DHU remains largely ***,we theoretically study thermal transport in a class of two-dimensional DHU materials—monolayer amorphous carbon(MAC).Beginning with a perfect graphene lattice,we continuously apply Stone-Wales transformations to generate a series of MAC models with varied degrees of disorder and defects,which are quantified through comprehensive structural analysis including the so-called hyperuniformity index(H),where a smaller H indicates a higher degree of ***,we conduct molecular dynamics simulations to obtain the thermal conductivity(κ).A significant correlation between the thermal transport behavior and degree of hyperuniformity is observed,with the room-temperatureκdecreasing from 26.3 to 5.3 W m^(-1)K^(-1)while H is tuned from 0.0004 to ***,two distinct transport regimes are identified,including a nearly-DHU regime at small H(<0.005)whereκdrops sharply and a non-DHU region at larger H whereκbecomes relatively ***-resolved analysis reveals longer lifetime and higher participation ratio for the heat carriers in nearly-DHU MAC,implying that the hidden long-range correlations could support extended modes that enhance *** work highlights the impact of DHU on the thermal properties of amorphous materials and represents a conceptual advancement that is worthy of future exploration.

A 3D simulation using Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics(CPFD)methods was used to calculate coal combustion in a 75 t/h industrial-scale circulating fluidized bed(CFB)*** characteristics,gas-solid flow characteristics,and gaseous pollutant emissions of CFB boilers from combustion ignition to stable operation were systematically evaluated in this *** show that the temperature distribution is relatively uniform throughout the *** the combustion process unfolds within the boiler,the gas composition curve strikingly portrays the inverse correlation between CO_(2)and O_(2)*** the combustion reaction progresses,it becomes evident that the concentration of CO_(2)progressively increases,while the concentration of O_(2)concurrently *** inverse relationship underscores the fundamental combustion reaction,where carbon-based fuels react with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and release ***,a comprehensive analysis has revealed that,from ignition to stable combustion,both nitric oxide(NO)and sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))emissions exhibit a declining *** reduction in pollutant generation is attributed to the improvement in combustion *** complete combustion leads to lower levels of unburned hydrocarbons,which are prone to NO ***,the sulfur content in the fuel is more efficiently oxidized to sulfur trioxide(SO_(3))or bound in sulfates,reducing SO_(2)*** steady state in the simulation,the SO_(2)mass flow rate varies significantly with the furnace height,gradually increasing from 0.07 kg·s^(-1)at 4 m at the bottom of the furnace to a peak of 0.078 kg·s^(-1)at 8 m in the center,and then decreasing to 0.06 kg·s^(-1)at 20m at the top of the furnace.

Aerodynamic and dynamic interference from trains is a key issue of concern for the safety of road vehicles travelling on single-level rail-cum road *** on the wind-road vehicle-train-bridge(WRTB)coupled vibration system developed herein,this study examines the dynamic characteristics when road vehicles meet trains in this *** influence of load combination,vehicle type and vehicle location is analyzed.A method to obtain the aerodynamic load of road vehicles encountering the train at an arbitrary wind speed is *** results show that due to the windproof facilities and the large line distance between the railway and highway,the aerodynamic and dynamic influence of trains on road vehicles is slight,and the vibration of road vehicles depends on the road *** the road vehicles discussed,the bus is the easiest to rollover,and the truck-trailer is the easiest to *** with the aerodynamic impact of trains,the crosswind has a more significant influence on road *** first peak/valley value of aerodynamic loads determines the maximum dynamic response,and the quick method is optimized based on this *** cases show that the optimized method can produce conservative results and can be used for relevant research or engineering applications.

This study focuses on the electrical properties and microstructure of polypropylene(PP)-based blends used for cable insulation in nuclear power plants(NPPs).The PP-based blend,comprising isotactic PP and propylene-based elastomer(PBE)at concentrations ranging from 0 to 50 wt%,underwent a melt blending process and subsequent cobalt-60 gamma-ray irradiation with doses ranging from 0 to 250 *** conductivity,trap distribution,and alternating(AC)breakdown strength were chosen to assess the insulation *** results indicate that the addition of PBE significantly improves the electrical properties of PP under *** PP,the electrical conductivity increased with irradiation,whereas the trap depth and breakdown strength decreased ***,for the blend,these changes initially exhibit opposite *** the irradiation was increased to 250 kGy,the AC breakdown strength of the blend improved by more than 21%compared to that of *** physical and chemical structures of the samples were investigated to explore the improvement *** results offer insights into the design of new cable-insulation materials suitable for NPPs.

Layered rare-earth metal oxides,harnessing the dual properties of oxides and two-dimensional layered materials,exhibit remarkable thermal stability and quantum confinement ***,this work adopts the first-principles calculation combined with the Boltzmann transport theory to predict the thermoelectric properties of NdZnSbO *** coexistence of weak interlayer van der Waals interactions,robust intralayer ionic bonding,and partial covalent bonding leads to remarkable bonding heterogeneity,which engenders pronounced phonon scattering and imposes constraints on thermal transport along the out-of-plane *** weakened chemical bonds induced by the antibonding states,together with the rattling-like behavior of the Zn atom,culminate in the profound anharmonicity in the layered NdZnSbO *** weakening bond and heavy element contribute to the softness of phonon modes,which significantly diminishes the phonon group *** redistribution-dominated four-phonon scattering process spans a large optical gap,which effectively reduces the lattice thermal *** NdZnSbO compound exhibits direct semiconductor characteristic with a bandgap of 0.73 e V by adopting the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof(HSE06)functional in combination with spin–orbit coupling(SOC)*** multi-valley feature of NdZnSbO compound augur favorably for band degeneracy,thus amplifying the power ***,an optimal figure-of-merit(ZT)of 3.40 at 900 K is achieved for the n-type NdZnSbO *** present study delves deeply insights into the origins for the low thermal conductivity of NdZnSbO compound and proposes an optimization scheme to enhance overall thermoelectric performance.

Background Progressive oxidative stress easily occurs as a result of a gradual increase in the intensity of maternal metabolism due to rapid foetal development and increased intensity of ***,studies on the effects of processive oxidative stress on nutrient transport in the placenta have received little *** present study was conducted on sows at 85 days of gestation to study the effects of pterostilbene(PTE)on maternal oxidative stress status and placental nutrient *** PTE increased the antioxidant capacity and immunoglobulin content in mothers’blood and milk,reduced the level of inflammatory factors,and improved the nutrient content of *** also reduced sow backfat loss and the number of weak sons,and increased piglet weaning weight and total weaning litter *** subsequently found that PTE enhanced placental glucose and fatty acid transport and further affected glycolipid metabolism by increasing the expression of LAL,PYGM,and Gbe-1,which activated the PI3K phosphorylation ***,PTE addition altered the relative abundance of the Firmicutes,Proteobacteria,Parabacillus,and Bacteroidetes-like RF16 groups in sow *** increased the levels of acetate,propionate,butyrate and isovalerate in the *** These findings reveal that the addition of PTE during pregnancy and lactation mitigates the effects of processive oxidative stress on offspring development by altering maternal microbial and placental nutrient trans-port capacity.

Prostate cancer(PCa) is characterized by high incidence and propensity for easy metastasis, presenting significant challenges in clinical diagnosis and treatment. Tumor microenvironment(TME)-responsive nanomaterials provide a promising prospect for imaging-guided precision therapy. Considering that tumor-derived alkaline phosphatase(ALP) is over-expressed in metastatic PCa, it makes a great chance to develop a theranostics system with ALP responsive in the TME. Herein, an ALP-responsive aggregationinduced emission luminogens(AIEgens) nanoprobe AMNF self-assembly was designed for enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic PCa. The nanoprobe exhibited self-aggregation in the presence of ALP resulted in aggregation-induced fluorescence, and enhanced accumulation and prolonged retention period at the tumor site. In terms of detection, the fluorescence(FL)/computed tomography(CT)/magnetic resonance(MR) multi-mode imaging effect of nanoprobe was significantly improved post-aggregation, enabling precise diagnosis through the amalgamation of multiple imaging modes. Enhanced CT/MR imaging can achieve assist preoperative tumor diagnosis, and enhanced FL imaging technology can achieve “intraoperative visual navigation”, showing its potential application value in clinical tumor detection and surgical guidance. In terms of treatment, AMNF showed strong absorption in the near infrared region after aggregation, which improved the photothermal treatment effect. Overall, our work developed an effective aggregation-enhanced theranostic strategy for ALP-related cancers.

In the context of global change, ensuring national food security and achieving sustainable development of agricultural production systems have become major challenges worldwide. To address these issues, regional-scale crop growth and associated process(CROP-AP) models, with their robust simulation and predictive capabilities, have emerged as important tools for studying a wide range of issues relating to agricultural production at river basin, national, and even global scales. Here, we provide a systematic review of the advances of regional-scale CROP-AP models. First, regional-scale CROP-AP models are categorized based on model characteristics: statistical models, crop growth models, hydrology-crop coupling models, and ecosystem models. The origin, development, principle, structure, and application of each model type are introduced. Then, the main functions of regional-scale CROP-AP models are critically reviewed from five aspects: crop yield prediction, crop water consumption, agricultural non-point source pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate change impact and ***, the future development trends and research priorities of regional-scale CROP-AP models are explored from six key perspectives: model validation and calibration, the ability to simulate the coupling of crop physiology and human activities,enhancing model scalability, multi-model ensembles, data and code sharing, and the integration of artificial intelligence. This review aims to provide comprehensive references and insights for the further development and application of large-scale, high-precision CROP-AP models.
