Spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy is a neurodegenerative disease caused by extended CAG trinucleotide repeats in the androgen receptor gene,which encodes a ligand-dependent transcription facto *** mutant androgen receptor protein,characterized by polyglutamine expansion,is prone to misfolding and forms aggregates in both the nucleus and cytoplasm in the brain in spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy *** aggregates alter protein-protein interactions and compromise transcriptional *** this study,we reported that in both cultured N2a cells and mouse brain,mutant androgen receptor with polyglutamine expansion causes reduced expression of mesencephalic astrocyte-de rived neurotrophic *** n of mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor amelio rated the neurotoxicity of mutant androgen receptor through the inhibition of mutant androgen receptor *** down endogenous mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor in the mouse brain exacerbated neuronal damage and mutant androgen receptor *** findings suggest that inhibition of mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor expression by mutant androgen receptor is a potential mechanism underlying neurodegeneration in spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy.

In order to evaluate the effect of blood glucose concentration on the reliability of AZ31 magnesium alloy medical implant,the corrosion of AZ31 alloy was studied in a simulated physiological saline *** is found that when the glucose concentration is in the normal range of ca.1g/L,the corrosion of AZ31 alloy can be inhibited However,when the glucose concentration becomes higher like that of diabetic patients,the degradation of AZ31 alloy is significantly ***,for diabetic patients,the change in glucose concentration must be taken into consideration in order to ensure the reliability ofAZ31 medical implants.

利用椭偏反射光谱不但验证了Si-SiO2界面是一祖糙面,而且在恰当的模拟形貌下,把这界面粗糙层等效为若干子层,用有效介质理论处理。分别得到各自的介电特性。通过多相椭偏光反射光谱的理论计算值ψcal,△cal与实验值ψexp,△exp的比较,把粗糙的高度H及相关长度L确定,把不同条件下制备的样品的粗糙度和它们的电气性能相对比,发现两者之间的趋势十分一致。同时发现,在界面上Si的介电常数具有轻度的各向异性。

The non-structural proteins (nsp or replicase proteins) of coronaviruses are relativelyconserved and can be effective targets for *** studies have been conducted into the function of thesevere acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) *** this study,bioinformatics methodswere employed to predict the secondary structure and construct 3-D models of the SARS-CoV GD *** and sequential comparison was performed to analyze the mutation trend of the polymerasensp5 gene during the epidemic process using a nucleotide-nucleotide basic local alignment search tool(BLASTN) and a protein-protein basic local alignment search tool (BLASTP).The results indicated that thensp5 gene was steady during the epidemic process and the protein was homologous with other coronavirusnsp5 *** protein encoded by the nsp5 gene was expressed in COS-7 cells and analyzed by sodiumdodecylsulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE).This study provided the foundation forfurther exploration of the protein's biological function,and contributed to the search for anti-SARS-CoVdrugs.

Experimental and modeling study of surface topography generation considering tool-workpiece vibration in high-precision turning

High-precision turning(HPT)is a main processing method for manufacturing rotary high-precision components,especially for metallic ***,the generated vibration between tool tip and workpiece during turning may seriously deteriorate the surface ***,exploring the effect of vibration on turning surface morphology and quality of copper parts using 3D surface topography regeneration model is crucial for predicting HPT *** developed model can update the machined surface topology in real *** this study,the effects of tool arc radius,feed rate,radial vibration,axial vibration and tangential vibration on the surface topography and surface roughness were *** results show that the effect of radial vibration on surface topography is greater than that of axial vibration and tangential *** radial vibration frequency is also *** vibration frequency changes,the surface topography profile presents three different types:the standard sinusoidal curve,the sinusoidal curve whose lowfrequency signal envelopes high-frequency signal,and the oscillation curve whose low-frequency signal superimposes high-frequency *** addition,HPT experiment was carried out to validate the developed *** surface roughness obtained in the experiment was Ra=53 nm,while the roughness obtained by the simulation was Ra=46 nm,achieving a prediction accuracy of 86.7%.Received 4 September 2022;revised 3 October 2022;accepted 17 October 2022.

STUDIES ON REVERSE OSMOSIS SEPARATION OF AQUEOUS ORGANIC SOLUTIONS BY PAA/PSF COMPOSITE MEMBRANE

The reverse osmosis (RO) separation of aqueous organic solutions, such as alcohols, amines, aldehydes, acids, ketones, and esters etc., by PAA (polyacrylic acid)/PSF (polysulfone) composite membrane has been studied. It was found that the separation results for aliphatic alcohols, amines and aldehydes are satisfactory, the solute rejection (R-a) and the volume fluxes of solutions (J(V)) for 1000 ppm ethanol, ethylamine and ethyl aldehyde are 66.2%, 61.0%, 84.0% and 0.90 x 10(-6), 0.35 x 10(-6), 0.40 X 10(-6) m(3)/m(2) . s, respectively, at 5.0 MPa and 30 degrees C. R-a increased with increasing molecular weights of alcohols, amines and aldehydes, and the R-a for n-amyl alcohol, n-butylamine and n-butyl aldehyde reached 94.3%, 88.6% and 96.0%, respectively. Satisfactory separation results (R-a > 70%) for ketones, esters, phenols and polyols have been obtained with the PAA/PSF composite membrane. The effect of operating pressure on the properties of reverse osmosis has also been investigated. Analysis of experimental data with Spiegler-Kedem's transport model has been carried out and the membrane constants such as reflection coefficient sigma, solute and hydraulic permeabilities omega and L-p for several organic solutes have been obtained.

目的探讨血清生长分化因子-15(growth differentiation factor-15,GDF-15)与结直肠癌临床病理特征及预后的关系。方法151例结直肠癌患者为结直肠癌组,151例体检健康者为对照组,采用ELISA法检测2组血清GDF-15水平,结直肠癌组根据血清中位GDF-15水平分为高表达组与低表达组。绘制ROC曲线分析血清GDF-15对结直肠癌的诊断效能,采用Kaplan—Meier生存曲线法分析血清GDF-15水平对结直肠癌患者生存时间的影响,采用Cox比例风险回归模型分析结直肠癌患者预后的危险因素。结果结直肠癌组血清GDF-15水平[(1642.1±471.3)ng/L]明显高于对照组[(540.6±235.1)ng/L](P817.2ng/L)肿瘤直径>5cm、低分化、有淋巴结转移、有血管浸润和TNM分期Ⅲ~Ⅳ期比率高于低表达组(GDF-15≤817.2ng/L)(P0.05);血清GDF-15水平>817.2ng/L诊断结直肠癌的AUC为0.824(95%CI:0.733~0.910,P<0.001),灵敏度为79.2%,特异度为94.5%;GDF-15高表达是结直肠癌患者预后的独立危险因素(HR一3.298,95%CI:1.331~5.115,P=0.015)。结论血清GDF-15在结直肠癌患者中表达上调,血清GDF-15可作为结直肠癌早期诊断和评估预后的潜在生物标志物。

Detrital-zircon geochronology of the Jurassic coal-bearing strata in the western Ordos Basin, North China: Evidences for multi-cycle sedimentation

The western Ordos Basin(WOB), situated in a tectonic transition zone in the North China Craton, acts as an excellent example for studying the Mesozoic intraplate sedimentation and deformation in Asia. In this study, U-Pb ages for 1203 detrital zircons of 14 sandstone samples collected from 11 sections are presented to unravel the sediment source locations and paleogeographic environments of the Early-Middle Jurassic coal-bearing Yan'an Formation in the WOB. Data show that there are five prominent age groups in the detrital zircons of the Yan'an Formation, peaking at ca. 282 Ma, 426 Ma, 924 Ma, 1847 Ma, and2468 Ma. Samples from the northern, middle, and southern parts of the WOB contain these five age categories in various proportions. In the northern region, the Yan'an Formation exclusively contains Early Permian detrital zircons with a single age group peaking at 282 Ma, matching well with the crystallizing ages of the widespread Early Permian granites in the Yinshan Belt to the north and the Alxa Block to the northwest. While in the southern region, the Yan'an Formation mainly contains three groups of detrital zircons, with age peaks at 213 Ma, 426 Ma, and 924 Ma. These zircon ages resemble those of the igneous rocks in the Qilian-Qinling Orogenic Belt to the south-southwest. Samples in the middle region, characterized by a mixture age spectrum with peaks at 282 Ma, 426 Ma, 924 Ma, 1847 Ma and 2468 Ma, are previously thought to have mixed derivations from surrounding ranges. However, by referring to the detrital-zircon age compositions of the pre-Jurassic sedimentary successions and combining with paleontological and petrographic analysis, we firstly propose that the sediments of the Yan'an Formation in the middle region were partly recycled from the Triassic and Paleozoic sedimentary strata in the *** occurrence of recycled sedimentation suggests that the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic intraplate compressional deformation was very intense in the WOB, especially
