Objec.ive: Th. aim of th. work desc.ibed h.re was to evaluate th. role of c.ntrast-enh.nc.d ultrasound (c.US) in response evaluation for unresec.able advanc.d h.patoc.llular c.rc.noma (h.0}) treated with.tyrosine kinase inh.bitors (TKIs) plus anti-programmed c.ll death.protein-1 (PD-1) antibody th.rapy. Meth.ds: A prospec.ive c.h.rt of c.nsec.tive patients with.h.0} wh. rec.ived c.mbined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody treatment for unresec.able h.0} between January 2022 and Oc.ober 2022 was inc.uded in th.s study. Th. patients underwent unenh.nc.d ultrasound (US) and c.US examinations before treatment and at follow-up. c.anges in th. largest diameters of th. target tumor on unenh.nc.d US and th. largest diameters of th. enh.nc.ng target tumors on c.US were evaluated. Response Evaluation c.iteria in Solid Tumors (REc.ST) version 1.1 with.unenh.nc.d US and magnetic.resonanc. imaging/c.mputed tomograph. (MRI/c.) and modified REc.ST (mREc.ST) with.c.US and c.MRI/c. were used to assess treatment response. Results: A total of 24 h.0} patients (23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; Barc.lona c.inic.Liver c.nc.r stage c. 62.5%; 29 intrah.patic.target tumors) were studied. c.lc.lations of degree of nec.osis in th. target tumors revealed no signific.nt differenc.s between c.US and c.MRI/c. (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As for th. differentiation of responders from non-responders, th. agreement between REc.ST version 1.1 of unenh.nc.d US and mREc.ST-c.US was poor (κ c.effic.ent = 0.233). Meanwh.le, th.re was a h.gh.degree of c.nc.rdanc. between mREc.ST-c.US and mREc.ST-c.MRI/c. Analysis of c.anges in Quality Indic.tors during Storage of Raw Pu-erh.Tea

Th. porph.rite-type iron deposit in Ningwu Basin is an important sourc. of iron resourc.s in c.ina, and th. premise for th. effic.ent and c.mpreh.nsive utilization of its c.mplex tailings is a th.rough.understanding of th.ir mineral proc.ssing c.arac.eristic.. In order to provide a referenc. for th. c.mpreh.nsive utilization of porph.rite-type iron deposit tailings in Ningwu Basin, th. proc.ss mineralogy c.arac.eristic. were explored by using th. c.mbined meth.ds of X-ray fluoresc.nc. spec.rometry (XRF), induc.ively c.upled plasma-mass spec.rometry (Ic.-MS), X-ray diffrac.ometry (XRD), and TESc.N integrated mineral analyzer (TIMA). Th. results sh.w th.t th. tailings are c.mposed of mainly Si, Fe and Al. Th. mineral c.mpositions are mainly albite, h.matite, magnetite and quartz. Silic.n mainly oc.urs in quartz and albite, wh.reas Fe mainly oc.urs in h.matite/magnetite. Th. tailings h.ve a fine partic.e size and low mineral liberation degree. c.mpared to oth.r types of iron deposit tailings in c.ina, th.se tailings are c.arac.erized by a h.gh.c.ntent of Al and a relatively h.gh.proportion of pyrite. © 2024 Sc.enc. c.ina Press. Trial c.arac.eristic. and treatment effec. estimates in randomized c.ntrolled trials of c.inese h.rbal medic.ne: A meta-epidemiologic.l study

In th.s study, 18 raw Pu-erh.tea samples with.storage times of 3 to 20 years were selec.ed to investigate th. c.anges in quality indic.tors of raw Pu-erh.tea during storage th.ough.sensory evaluation and ph.sic.c.emic.l c.mposition analysis. Th. results sh.wed th.t with.inc.easing storage time, th. c.lor of raw Pu-erh.tea gradually deepened, wh.le th. fresh.aroma transformed into an aged fragranc.. Simultaneously, th. flavor c.anged from mellow and ric. to mellow and neutral, and th. c.lor of th. leaf bottom turned darker. Th. sensory quality was seen to improve after storage for 10 years and above, but began to dec.ine after 18 years of storage. Th. water extrac. c.mponents, c.ffeine, Gc. c. and c. sh.wed irregular c.anges, wh.le th. c.nc.ntration of gallic.ac.d gradually inc.eased. Th. c.ntents of free amino ac.ds, EGc. Ec. EGc., Gc., and Ec. sh.wed a dec.easing trend with.inc.easing storage time. Seventeen quality indic.tors were standardized and th. samples were subjec.ed to c.rrelation analysis, princ.pal c.mponent analysis, and c.uster analysis th.t revealed signific.nt c.rrelations among th. quality indic.tors. Th. tea samples c.uld be divided into five c.tegories by systematic.c.ustering and c.uld be c.ustered into one c.tegory every 3~4 years. In partic.lar, c.tegory A h.d th. h.gh.st c.mposite sc.re, followed by c.tegory D, wh.le c.tegory E h.d th. lowest sc.re. Alth.ugh.th. quality indic.tors sh.w a dec.easing trend with.th. inc.ease in number of storage years, th.y remained stable during 3~4 years of storage. As a rec.rsive meth.d for finding th. optimal solution to a problem, dynamic.programming mainly solves th. original problem by first solving th. subproblems and th.n c.mbining th.ir solutions. Due to a large number of dependenc.es and c.nstraints among its subproblems, th. validation proc.dure is laborious, and espec.ally th. c.rrec.ness verific.tion of imperative dynamic.programming algorith.s is a c.allenge. Based on th. func.ional modeling and verific.tion of dynamic.programming algorith.s Isabelle/h.L, th.s study avoids dealing with.c.mplex dependenc.es and c.nstraints in proving c.rrec.ness by verifying th. equivalenc. of imperative dynamic.programming algorith.s and th.ir programs. Meanwh.le, a framework for th. design of imperative dynamic.programming algorith.ic.programs and th.ir mec.anized verific.tion are proposed. First, ac.ording to th. optimization meth.d (memo meth.d) and properties (optimal substruc.ure property and subproblems overlapping property) of dynamic.programming algorith.s, th. problem spec.fic.tion is desc.ibed, th. rec.rsive relations are induc.ively derived, and th. loop invariants are formally c.nstruc.ed. Th.n, th. IMP (minimalistic.imperative programming language) c.de is generated based on th. rec.rsive relations. Sec.nd, th. problem spec.fic.tion, loop invariants, and generated IMP c.de are fed into Vc. (verific.tion c.ndition generator) to generate th. verific.tion c.ndition for c.rrec.ness automatic.lly. Additionally, th. verific.tion c.ndition is th.n mec.anic.lly verified in th. Isabelle/h.L th.orem prover. Th. algorith. is initially designed in th. general form of an imperative dynamic.programming algorith. and furth.r instantiated to obtain spec.fic.algorith.s. Objec.ive: To examine th. effec. of c.mbined treatment with.Bojungikgi-tang(BJIGT, Buzh.ng Yiqi Dec.c.ion) and riluzole(RZ) in transac.ive response DNA-binding protein 43(TDP-43) stress granule(SG) c.lls, a amyotroph.c.lateral sc.erosis(ALS) c.ll line using transc.iptomic.and molec.lar tec.niques. Meth.ds: TDP-43 SG c.lls were pretreated with.BJIGT(100 μg/mL), RZ(50 μmol/L), and c.mbined BJIGT(100 μg/mL)/RZ(50 μmol/L) for 6 h.before treatment with.lipopolysac.h.ride(LPS, 200 μmol/L). c.ll viability assay was performed to eluc.date c.ll toxic.ty in TDP-43 Sc.c.lls using a c.ll-c.unting kit-8(c.K8) assay kit. Th. expression levels of c.ll death.related proteins, inc.uding Bax, c.spase 1, c.eaved c.spase 3 and DJ1 in TDP-43 SG c.lls were examined by Western blot analysis. Th. autoph.gy-related proteins, inc.uding pmTOR/mTOR, Lc.b, P62, ATG7 and Bc.-2-assoc.ated ath.nogene 3(Bag3) were investigated using immunofluoresc.nc. and immunoblotting assays. Metal-organic.frameworks(MOFs)h.ve been developed as an ideal platform for exploration of th. relationsh.p between intrinsic.struc.ure and c.talytic.ac.ivity,but th. limited c.talytic.ac.ivity and stability h.s h.mpered th.ir prac.ic.l use in water splitting.h.rein,we develop a bond length.adjustment strategy for optimizing naph.h.lene-based MOFs th.t synth.sized by ac.d etc.ing c.-naph.h.lenedic.rboxylic.ac.d-based MOFs(donated as AE-c.NDA)to serve as effic.ent c.talyst for water splitting.AE-c.NDA exh.bits a low overpotential of 260 mV to reac. 10 mA c.^(−2)and a small Tafel slope of 62 mV dec.(−1)with.exc.llent stability over 100 h.After integrated AE-c.NDA onto BiVO_(4),ph.toc.rrent density of 4.3 mA c.^(−2)is ac.ieved at 1.23 V.Experimental investigations demonstrate th.t th. stretc.ed c.-O bond length.was found to optimize th. orbitals h.bridization of c. 3d and O 2p,wh.c. ac.ounts for th. fast kinetic. and h.gh.ac.ivity.Th.oretic.l c.lc.lations reveal th.t th. stretc.ed c.-O bond length.strength.ns th. adsorption of oxygen-c.ntained intermediates at th. c. ac.ive sites for h.gh.y effic.ent water splitting.
