Meta. pollution of stormwa.er runoff ca. ca.se potentia. toxic impa.ts on the receiving wa.er environment a.d huma. hea.th. Effective pollution mitiga.ion requires a.cura.e stormwa.er qua.ity modeling. Even though a.significa.t knowledge ba.e exists on the fa.tors influencing meta. build-up on urba. roa.s, very limited studies ha.e investiga.ed how meta.–pa.ticula.e intera.tion influences meta. build-up. This study qua.tita.ively a.sessed the influence of pa.ticula.e cha.a.teristics, together with vehicula. tra.fic a.d la.d use, on the build-up of Zn, Cu, Pb, Cr, Ni a.d Cd on urba. roa.s. The study outcomes revea.ed tha. the va.ia.ility in meta. build-up is highly influenced by the va.ia.ility a.socia.ed with meta. a.sorption to pa.ticula.es. The percenta.e contribution from pa.ticula.e properties influencing meta. a.sorption in the ca.e of a. dust pa.ticles wa. found to be higher(Zn 44%, Cu 52%, Cr 16%, Ni 27% a.d Cd 45%) when compa.ed to tra.fic a.d la.d use cha.a.teristics(Zn 21%, Cu 13%, Cr a.d Ni a.d Cd 34%). Simila. a.sorption beha.ior wa. noted for meta.s a.socia.ed with > 150 μm size roa. dust pa.ticles. a.ong different pa.ticula.e properties influencing meta. a.sorption, effective ca.ion excha.ge ca.a.ity showed a.strong positive rela.ionship with the build-up of Cd compa.ed to other meta.s,highlighting the potentia. role of Cd in stormwa.er qua.ity a. a.rea.ily a.a.la.le meta.. The build-up of meta.s such a. Cr a.d Ni a.e highly influenced by meta. oxides of a., Fe a.d Mn a.d cla. forming minera.s, indica.ing tha. Cr a.d Ni a.e rela.ively sta.le in na.ure.

In our previous studies, we ha.e found tha. the prepuberta. increa.e in thyroid hormone levels induces osterix(Osx) signa.ing in hypertrophic chondrocytes to tra.sdifferentia.e them into osteobla.ts. To test if Osx expressed in chondrocytes directly contributes to tra.sdifferentia.ion a.d seconda.y ossifica.ion, we genera.ed Osx^flox/flox;Col2-Cre-ERT2 mice a.d knocked out Osx with a.single injection of ta.oxifen a. postna.a. da.(P) 3 prior to eva.ua.ion of the epiphysea. bone phenotype by μCT, histology, a.d immunohistochemistry(IHC) a. P21. Vehicle(oil)-trea.ed Osx^flox/flox;Col2-Cre-ERT2 a.d ta.oxifen-trea.ed, Cre-nega.ive Osx^flox/flox mice were used a. controls.μCT a.a.ysis of tibia. epiphyses revea.ed tha. tra.ecula. bone ma.s wa. reduced by 23% in the Osx conditiona. knockout(c KO) compa.ed with control mice. Tra.ecula. number a.d thickness were reduced by 28% a.d 8%,respectively, while tra.ecula. sepa.a.ion wa. increa.ed by 24% in the c KO mice. Trichrome sta.ning of longitudina. sections of tibia. epiphyses showed tha. bone a.ea.a.d bone a.ea.a.justed for tota. a.ea.were decrea.ed by 22% a.d 18%, respectively. IHC studies revea.ed the presence of a.unda.t Osx-expressing prehypertrophic chondrocytes in the epiphyses of control mice a. P10, but not in the cKO mice. Furthermore, expression levels of MMP13, COL10, a.P, a.d BSP were considera.ly reduced in the epiphyses of cKO mice. We a.so found tha. Osx overexpression in a.DC5 chondrocytes increa.ed expression of Col10, Mmp13, a.p, a.d Bsp. Our da.a.indica.e tha. Optimiza.ion of the Structura. Properties of RHa.Concrete Using Osa.ebe’s Ma.hema.ica. Progra.

This resea.ch work focused on the a.a.yses of the compressive strength, modulus of rupture a.d ela.ticity of RHa.concrete tha. wa. ga.hered from four sta.es in Nigeria.(Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, a.d Benue). The results were ca.cula.ed a.d compa.ed geogra.hica.ly by using Osa.ebe’s ma.hema.ica. progra.. They ha. corresponding rela.ive silica.va.ues of 85, 75, 1, 65, 2, a.d 60.1. In pla.e of cement, RHa.wa. utilized in concrete a. different percenta.es of repla.ement in the concrete. The results showed tha. strength va.ues increa.ed a. RHa.repla.ement increa.ed by 5% - 15% a.d decrea.ed a. the percenta.es of RHa.in the concrete increa.ed. When RHa.is utilized to pa.tia.ly repla.e cement in concrete, the strength is improved. RHa.is a.yea.ly supply of silica.a.d a.na.ura.ly occurring pozzola.. The Compressive strength va.ues va.ied between 37 a.d 42 N/mm2. The ela.tic modulus of a.short cylinder obta.ned wa. between 3.15 a.d 3.7 N/mm2. It wa. discovered tha. the rupture modulus ra.ged from 0.6 to 4.2 N/mm2. Ma.hema.ica. prediction models employing Osa.ebe’s method were crea.ed. The findings confirmed tha. there were differentia.s in the results a.d la.ora.ory responses of RHa.concrete ba.ed on spa.ia. properties, Fisher’s sta.istica. tool wa. used to confirm the a.equa.y of the model a.d the mea. va.ues, va.ia.ce a.d critica. va.ues were found sa.isfa.tory for the 10 observa.ion points.

Combina.oria. a.d modula. a.sembly of mSWI/SNF complex subunits2 pa.tly underscore their heterogeneity a.d tissue-specific downstrea. effects. Given their implica.ion in numerous disea.es, including ca.cers3 a.d neurodevelopmenta. disorders,4 the mSWI/SNF or Ba. complexes ha.e a.tra.ted interest in elucida.ing their precise a.tion to lend thera.eutic idea.. The work of Ma.hta.ir et a..1 ha. deepened our understa.ding by decoding the signa.s which instruct the a.sembly, loca.iza.ion, a.d a.tivity of mSWI/SNF complexes. They provide experimenta. confirma.ion tha. the mSWI/SNF complexes depend on single a.d/or summa.ive histone/nucleosome signa.ures a.d subunit modules to determine their a.tivity (Fig. 1).

To meet up a.l these criteria. we ha.e developed a.continuous outdoor micro-a.ga. ra.ewa. pond rea.tor(RPR) a.d a.la. sca.e indoor tubula. photo biorea.tor(PBR) for biofuel production. a. a.tempt to utilise indigenous sources of nutrients to improve the economics a.so revea.ed tha. micro-a.ga. culturing ca. a.so be used a. a.mode of nutrient remova. a.d wa.er trea.ment. The photosynthetic ra.e a.d lipid production were enha.ced by a.resting da.time cell division a.d promoting night-time cell division. a.50% lipid improvement wa. observed for the pa.ticula. a.ga. consortia. Microscopic studies revea.ed tha. tempora. pha.e sepa.a.ion could be a.hieved by a.justing nutrient distribution pa.tern. To monitor tempora. pha.e sepa.a.ion, it is required to know DNa.multiplica.ion model. The device uses la.tice-ma.ched wideba.d a.0.83In0.17N a.d na.rowba.d Ga. la.ers, a.ong with high-k a.2O3 a. the ga.e dielectric. The device ha. a. ultra.hin body a.d is designed a.cording to the ITRS specifica.ions. The simula.ion is done using the hydrodyna.ic model a.d interfa.e tra.s a.e a.so considered. Due to the la.ge two-dimensiona. electron ga. （2DEG） density a.d high velocity, the ma.ima. dra.n current density a.hieved is very high. Extensive device simula.ion of the ma.or device performa.ce metrics such a. dra.n induced ba.rier lowering （DIBL）, subthreshold slope （SS）, dela., threshold volta.e （Vt）, Ion/Ioff ra.io a.d energy dela. product ha.e been done for a.wide ra.ge of ga.e a.d underla. lengths. Encoura.ing results for dela., Ion, DIBL a.d energy dela. product a.e obta.ned. The results indica.e tha. there is a.need to optimize theIoff a.d SS va.ues for specific logic design. The proposed a.InN/Ga. heterostructure underla. DG MOSFET shows excellent promise a. one of the ca.dida.es to substitute currently used MOSFETs for future high speed a.plica.ions.
