Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the results of.the laparosc.pic.treatment of.high and intra-abdominal undesc.nded testes. Methods: A retrospec.ive study was c.rried out f.om 2014 to 2021 at the c.ntre medic.-c.irugic.le d’urologie in Douala. We c.nsulted the c.inic.l rec.rds of.27 patients aged 6 - 15 years who underwent laparosc.pic.orc.iopexy at our hospital. We inc.uded patients with unilateral or bilateral undesc.nded testes as detec.ed by palpation and exc.uded patients with inc.mplete c.inic.l rec.rds. The data c.llec.ed were entered into Mic.osof. Exc.l 2016 and exported to Epi inf. 7 f.r analysis. c.ntinuous variables were presented as mean values and standard deviations while c.tegoric.l variables were presented as f.equenc.es and perc.ntages. The threshold f.r statistic.l signif.c.nc. was set at p Results: The ages of.the 27 partic.pants ranged f.om 6 years to 15 years, with a mean age of.10.22 ± 2.68 years. Hypospadias was an assoc.ated abnormality in 7.41% of.partic.pants. The mean duration of.the surgic.l proc.dure was 80.56 ± 30.30 minutes. The overall suc.ess rate of.the laparosc.pic.proc.dure was 95.83%. The mean duration of.postoperative hospital stay was 26.67 ± 7.69 hours. The only postoperative c.mplic.tion we enc.untered was testic.lar atrophy, whic. oc.urred in 7.41% of.partic.pants. All our patients underwent single-stage laparosc.pic.proc.dures. c.nc.usion: Laparosc.py, whic. is the tec.nique of.c.oic. f.r the diagnosis and management of.undesc.nded testis, is more rapid, more ef.ec.ive, and c.arac.erized by a shorter hospital stay and f.wer postoperative c.mplic.tions c.mpared to open surgery. Single-stage proc.dures are as ef.ec.ive and saf. as two-stage proc.dures.

In this paper, we derive the analytic.l solutions in a three-dimensional anisotropic.magnetoelec.roelastic.bimaterial spac. subjec. to unif.rm extended disloc.tions and trac.ions within a horizontal c.rc.lar area. By virtue of.the Stroh f.rmalism and f.urier transf.rmation, the f.nal expression of.solutions in the physic.l domain c.ntains only line integrals over [0, 2π] rather than inf.nite integrals. As the reduc.d c.ses, the half.spac. and homogeneous f.ll-spac. solutions c.n be direc.ly derived f.om the present solutions. Also, in terms of.material domains, the present solutions c.n be reduc.d to the piezoelec.ric. piezomagnetic. purely elastic.materials with dif.erent symmetries of.material prop- erty. To c.rry out numeric.l c.lc.lations, Gauss quadrature is adopted. In the numeric.l examples, the ef.ec. of.dif.erent loading loc.tions on the response at the interf.c. is analyzed. It is shown that, when the magnetic.trac.ion or elec.ric.disloc.tion is applied, the physic.l quantities on the interf.c. may not dec.ease monotonic.lly as the loading area moves away f.om the interf.c.. The distributions of.dif.erent in-plane physic.l quantities on the upper and lower interf.c.s under various extended horizontal loadings are c.mpared and the dif.erenc.s are disc.ssed. The work presented in this paper c.n serve as benc.marks f.r f.ture numeric.l studies in related researc. f.elds.

c.emic.l insec.ic.des have been c.nsidered as a means to c.mbat c.op pests. Although their ef.ec.iveness is evident, their impac. on the environment is inc.easingly being disc.ssed. The aim of.this study is to determine the agro-ec.logic.l potential of.a biologic.l insec.ic.de (c.sub>25H32O12) based on Aloe barbadensis in a Sahelian c.ntext. f.r this purpose, a c.mpletely randomized bloc. experimental design with 3 replic.tions and 4 treatments was set up to experiment with Aloe barbadensis as a bioinsec.ic.de against pests of.Abelmosc.us esc.lentus. However, data were c.llec.ed using an observation and parameter monitoring grid. This inc.udes the c.ltivation of.Abelmosc.us esc.lentus, soil preparation, seeding and watering, plot labeling, preparation of.the bioinsec.ic.de (selec.ion and preparation of.raw materials, grinding of.Aloe barbadensis miller and extrac.ion of.the c.ude bioinsec.ic.de, quantif.c.tion of.treatment doses and dilution, and obtaining the f.rmulated bioinsec.ic.de), plant watering, plant treatment, and f.nally parameter monitoring. The results obtained reveal that the level of.damage is signif.c.ntly high in the c.ntrol treatment T0 (63%) c.mpared to the other treatments, with 29% f.r treatment T1, 7% f.r T2, and 1% f.r T3, implying a strong ac.ion c.pability of.this insec.ic.de against pests of.Abelmosc.us esc.lentus. Theref.re, it c.n be c.nc.uded that f.r a normal growing season of.Abelmosc.us esc.lentus, this biologic.l insec.ic.de should be sprayed 12 times. f.rthermore, this biologic.l insec.ic.de is unique in that it does not inf.ic. any gastric.toxic.ty on the pests, whic. gives it the c.arac.eristic.of.being a repellent. It is a biologic.l insec.ic.de whose ef.ic.c. period has been tested, with a minimum duration of.21 days. c.ic.en is an important f.od animal worldwide and plays an important role in human lif. by providing meat and *** rec.nt signif.c.nt advanc.s in gut mic.obiome studies,a c.mprehensive study of.c.ic.en gut bac.erial,arc.aeal,and viral genomes remains *** this study,we c.nstruc.ed a c.ic.en multi-kingdom mic.obiome c.talog(c.KMc.,inc.uding 18,201 bac.erial,225 arc.aeal,and 33,411 viral genomes,and annotated over 6,076,006 protein-c.ding genes by integrating 135 c.ic.en gut metagenomes and public.y available metagenome-assembled genomes(MAGs)f.om ten *** f.und that 812 and 240 MAGs in our dataset were putative novel spec.es and genera,respec.ively,f.r beyond what was previously *** newly unc.assif.ed MAGs were predominant in Phyla f.rmic.tes_A(n=263),f.llowed by f.rmic.tes(n=126),Bac.eroidota(n=121),and Proteobac.eria(n=87).Most of.the c.assif.ed spec.es-level viral oper-ational taxonomic.units belong to ***,63.24%of.c.ic.en gut viromes are predic.ed to inf.c. two or more hosts,inc.uding c.mplete c.rc.lar ***,we f.und that diverse auxiliary metabolic.genes and antibiotic.resistanc. genes were c.rried by ***,our c.KMc.provides the largest integrated MAGs and viral genomes f.om the c.ic.en gut to date,f.nc.ional insights into the c.ic.en gastrointestinal trac. mic.obiota,and paves the way f.r mic.obial interventions f.r better c.ic.en health and produc.ivity.

This study is part of.a larger researc. projec. aiming to assess the seismic.ef.ic.enc. of.f.ic.ion dissipators by means of.an integrated numeric.l and experimental approac.. Inside this f.amework, the main objec.ives of.these experiments are to：（i） c.llec. a wide range of.results to c.librate a numeric.l model derived within the projec., （ii） c.arif. some of.the most c.ntroversial issues about f.ic.ion dissipators （inc.uding behavior f.r inputs c.ntaining pulses, c.pac.ty to reduc. resonanc. peaks, introduc.ion of.high f.equenc.es in the response, and self. generated ec.entric.ties）, （iii） better understand their dynamic.behavior, （iv） provide insight on the f.asibility and reliability of.using simple f.ic.ion dissipators f.r seismic.protec.ion of.building struc.ures and （v） c.arac.erize the hysteretic.behavior of.these devic.s.
