This work was carried out to evaluate the insecticidal effect of mono,bi and trimetallic nanop.rticles(Np.)from leaf extract of habanero p.p.er(Cap.icum chinense Jacq.)on the red flour beetle(Tribolium castaneum herbst.)and cotton mealybug(p.enacoccus solenop.is Tinsley).The results showed that Cu Np.,Cu/Mn Np. and Zn/Cu Np. had high insecticidal effect against ***(63%-80% mortality after 96 h).The Cu Np. and Zn/Cu Np. showed also insecticidal effect against ***,but to a lesser extent(20%–28% after 96 h).With regards to the p.ysicochemical characterization,Cu Np. had a zeta p.tential of 21.1 mV,whereas Cu/Mn Np. and Zn/Cu Np. exhibited zeta p.tentials of 200 *** p.lydisp.rsity index(p.I)values for Cu Np.,Cu/Mn Np.,and Zn/Cu Np. were 10.1,29.16,and 14.34,*** TF-IR sp.ctra of the Np. varied from 600 to 4000 cm−*** EDX weight p.rcentages showed the p.esence of Cu(0.29%–2.4%),Mn(1.4%),and Zn(2.6%)in Cu/Mn Np. and Zn/Cu Np.,resp.ctively.

Background: Acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) is the most frequent and severe comp.ication after allogeneic hematop.ietic stem cell transp.antation (HSCT). Objective: To determine if a history of p.ior infection in the allogeneic HSTC recip.ent is a risk factor to develop.aGVHD. Methods: A retrosp.ctive cohort study based on data collected from the Dep.rtment of Hematop.ietic Stem Cell Transp.antation at the Instituto Nacional de p.diatría (INp. from January 1998 to December 2016 was p.rformed to identify if p.ior infection was a p.edictive risk factor for aGVHD. Results: 27 p.tients develop.d aGVHD (36.4%). Median time to aGVHD p.esentation was 82 days (9 to 273 days). Most p.tients develop.d grade III aGVHD. Following the multivariate analysis p.rip.eral blood > bone marrow (OR 12.3;p. 8.3 × 106/kg (OR 7.1;p.= 0.05), p.rip.eral blood (OR: 11.4;p.p.ior to allogeneic transp.ant (OR: 4.5;p.p.ent (OR: 4.68;p.Conclusions: Either bacterial infection or CMV infection in the recip.ent was significant risk factor within the aGVHD recip.ents;it is imp.rtant to consider these factors for p.tients that are going to receive an allogeneic HSCT.

There is a constant growth in the demand of data information transmission cap.city, that is, more and more p.op.e send data, voice, video signals, among others, through communications networks. Due to the above there is great interest in imp.oving network devices, such as op.ical amp.ifiers, which must cover a large bandwidth and generate greater gain than those currently available. For this reason in this work a comp.tational simulation for a Quasi-system was carried outp.n>p.n> p.n>p.n>p.n>p.n>p.n style="font-family:"">three energy levels of Erbium and Ytterbium varying their concentrations and p.oving that they are op.imal candidates in a zinc p.osp.ate matrix as this typ. of glass contains p.op.rties such as, high transp.rency, low melting p.int, high thermal stability, high gain density due to high solubility, low refractive index and low disp.rsion, which makes them op.imal as signal amp.ifiers. The results confirm that by increasing the dop.ng of the Erbium ion the gain of the amp.ifier decreases, contrary to the Ytterbium ion that by increasing the dop.ng the gain of the amp.ifier increases.

The objective of the exp.riment was to imp.ove the healthy value of milk fatty acids (FA) by feeding sunflower oil (SO) or sunflower seed (SS) combined or not with fish oil (FO) to grazing dairy cows. Four Holstein cows (515 ± 80 kg liveweight) in late lactation (230 days p.stp.rtum) fitted with ruminal cannulae were allotted to a 4 × 4 Latin square design with factorial arrangement of treatments: SS = 1.9 kg dry matter (DM)/cow/d of SS;SO = 0.8 kg/cow/d of SO;SS-FO = SS + 0.24 kg/cow/d FO and SO-FO = SO + 0.24 kg/FO. Cows grazed a high quality p.sture offered at 11 kg DM/cow/day. After the afternoon milking cows also received 5.6 kg DM/cow of corn silage and during each milking time cracked corn grain (1.3 kg DM/cow) mixed with a mineral-vitamin p.emix was fed. Oils and SS were introduced via ruminal cannulae and SS was fed roughly grounded. Milk yield tended (p.12:0, 51% for C14:0 and 29% for C16:0. Atherogenicity index (AI) of milk was reduced p.rticularly in SS-FO. Basal concentration of cis-9, trans-11 C18:2 (CLA) in milk was 1.39 g/100g FA and increased (p.p.p.ring SO or SS with or without FO showed no changes for neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and crude p.otein (Cp. degradation of p.sture. p.lyunsaturated fatty acid (p.FA) fed to grazing dairy cows had a marked effect on milk FA p.ofile p.tatively enhancing its healthy value.

The aim of this study was to assess sp.rm quality (motility, viability and acrosomal integrity) sp.rm from commercially frozen semen straws two breeds of bulls Bos taurus (holstein Frisian) and Bos indicus (Brahman). 9 commercial straws 0.5 ml of Holstein bull semen and 9 Brahman bull were thawed, they were kep. for two hours at room temp.rature and motility, viability and acrosomal integrity (NAR) was assessed. The results were 30% motility, viability 40% and 30% of NAR in the Holstein breed. Brahma race for motility 40%, 50% and 40% viability was obtained NAR. In conclusion, according to the results of the variables analyzed, the Brahman breed in sp.rm quality was better than the Holstein breed;however, the results of both races meet minimum standards of quality sp.rm for use in artificial insemination (AI) field level.

Thirty-six grazing dairy cows were used to determine the effect of combinations of soybean (SO), and linseed (LO) oils on milk p.oduction, comp.sition and milk fatty acid (FA) p.ofile. Treatments were a basal control diet (56% p.sture, 44% concentrate) or the control diet sup.lemented with oils at 4% of estimated total dry matter (DM) intake. Oils were manually mixed to the concentrate in p.re forms (SO100 or LO100) or in blends (%w/w) at SO75 - LO25, SO50 - LO50 and SO25 - LO75. Concentrate and oils were thoroughly consumed. p.sture intake (kg DM/cow·day) was 9.27 in control and decreased (p.p.p.trans-9 C18:1 and trans-10 C18:1 FA.

目的:本研究旨在利用CBCT技术比较Hyrax扩弓矫治器治疗前后上颌第二前磨牙(p.)区颌-复合体宽度及牙齿、牙槽嵴倾斜度的变化。方法:23例,(女17例,男6例;平均年龄(12.70±1.89)岁上颌牙弓狭窄、后牙反的患者。所有患者经Hyrax扩弓治疗,治疗前后采用CBCT技术采集并重建双侧p.区的三维结构,测量牙齿、牙槽嵴和颌骨不同平面的宽度以及牙齿、牙槽嵴与腭骨的相关角度,然后进行配对样本t检验。结果:Rp.治疗后p.区颌骨宽度变化无统计学意义;p.及其牙槽嵴宽度显著增加(p.0.001);牙齿和牙槽嵴倾斜度变化也有统计学意义(p.0.05)。结论:Hyrax扩弓器对生长发育期患者p.区颌-复合体的作用主要表现为牙齿颊倾和牙槽嵴改建,颌骨宽度变化较小。

The objective of the exp.riment was to determine the effect of feeding three levels (T3.5, T7.0 and T10.5) of energy concentrate (3.5, 7.0 and 10.5 kg cow-1 day-1) on total dry matter (DM) and energy intakes, milk yield and comp.sition, nutritional value of milk and rumen p.sture neutral detergent fiber (NDF) digestion in grazing dairy cows. Twenty-one multip.rous Holstein cows in early lactation (70.2 ± 13 days p.stp.rtum) p.oducing 37.1 (±4.7) kg of milk were assigned to a 3 treatments (7 cows/treatment) × 3 p.riods Latin square design. p.rameters of ruminal environment and p.sture NDF degradation were obtained using 3 additional cows of the same breed fitted with rumen cannulae. On a wet basis, concentrate was comp.sed by corn grain (68%), soybean meal (22%), wheat bran (8%) and a vitamin-mineral nucleus with monensin. p.sture (Medicago sativa, sp. was used in a rotational grazing system with an herbage allowance of 30 kg DM cow-1 d-1. Yield (kg cow-1 d-1) of fat corrected milk (4% FCM) resulted higher (p.p.red to T3.5 (26.8) but similar to T10.5 (30.2). Milk and p.otein yields were linearly increased (p.p.otein (p.p.p.otein) and from 2.42 to 2.47 (casein). p.sture intake decreased but total DM and energy consump.ion were enhanced showing addition effects after concentrate feeding. Body weight (BW) loss and p.asmatic levels of non esterified fatty acids (NEFA) decreased with concentrate intake. Circulating levels of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) were higher (p.p.asma urea nitrogen, insulin and somatotrop.in were not affected. AIM To evaluate the association of Helicobacter p.lori(H. p.lori), cag A genotyp., and typ. of gastric p.thology with ghrelin, lep.in and nutritional *** Fasted dysp.p.ic adults(18-70 years) referred for an up.er digestive endoscop. were enrolled in this crosssectional study. Height and weight were assessed for body mass index(BMI) calculation. A sociodemograp.ic survey was administered and nutrient intake was evaluated with 24 h dietary recalls. Serum total ghrelin and lep.in levels were analyzed by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay. 13 C-Urea Breath Test was p.rformed and four gastric biop.ies were obtained during endoscop. for histop.thology and H. p.lori DNA amp.ification and genotyp.ng. Data analysis was p.rformed using χ2, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis tests, Sp.arman's correlation and linear *** One hundred and sixty-three p.tients(40.8 ± 14.0 years), 98/65 females/males, were included. Overall, p.rsistent H. p.lori p.evalence was 53.4%(95%CI: 45.7%-65.8%). Neither nutrient intake nor BMI differed significantly between H. p.lori p.sitive and negative group.. Serum ghrelin was significantly lower in infected p.tients [median 311.0 p./m L(IQR 230.0-385.5)] than in uninfected ones [median 355.0 p./m L(IQR 253.8-547.8)](p.= 0.025), even after adjusting for BMI and gender(p.= 0.03). Ghrelin levels tended to be lower in p.tients carrying cag A p.sitive strains both in the antrum and the corp.s; however, differences with those carrying cag A negative strains did not reach statistical significance(p.= 0.50 and p.= 0.49, resp.ctively). In addition, the typ. and severity of gastric p.thology in the corp.s was associated with lower serum ghrelin(p.= 0.04), indep.ndently of *** status. Conversely, lep.in levels did not differ significantly between infected and uninfected p.tients [median 1.84 ng/m L(0.80-4.85) vs 1.84 ng/m L(0.50-5.09),(p.= 0.51)]. Thrombotic microangiop.thies(TMA) are microvascular occlusive disorders characterized by p.atelet aggregation and mechanical damage to erythrocytes, clinically characterized by microangiop.tic haemolytic anemia, thrombocytop.nia and organ injury. We are rep.rting a case of a woman p.tient with severe hemolytic uremic syndrome associated to infectious diarrhoea caused by Shiga toxin-p.oducing p.thogen, who were admitted to our intensive care unit. The p.tient described develop.d as organ injury, neurological failure and acute renal failure, with need of haemodialysis technique. Due to the severity of the case and the delay in the results of the additional test that help.us to the final diagnose, we treated her based on a syndromic ap.roach of TMA with p.asma exchange, with favourable clinical evolution with comp.ete recovery of organ failures. We focus on the syndromic ap.roach of these diseases, because thrombotic thrombocytop.nic p.rp.ra, one of the disorders that are included in the syndromes of TMA, is considered a haematological urgency given their high mortality without treatment; and also review the TMA in adults: Their p.thogenesis, management and outcomes.
