BACKGROUND Cardiovas.ular outcome trials.have demons.rated cardiovas.ular s.fety of glimepiride(a s.lfonylureas. agains. dipeptidyl peptidas.-4 inhibitor ***(another newer s.lfonylureas. has.s.own s.milar glycemic efficacy and 50% decreas.d ris. of hypoglycemia compared to *** Cons.dering the abs.nce of cardiovas.ular outcome trials.for gliclazide, we decided to conduct a s.s.ematic review of the literature to as.es. the cardiovas.ular(CV) s.fety by as.es.ing the ris. for major advers. CV events.and hypoglycemia ris. of gliclazide vs.linagliptin in patients.with type 2 diabetes.T2D).METHODs.This.s.s.ematic review followed the current Preferred Reporting Items.for s.s.ematic Reviews.and Meta-Analys.s.guidelines.to analyze all the clinical s.udies.publis.ed from 2008 that compared the two drugs.in patients.with T2D with no ris. of CV dis.as.(CVD). We included only evidence des.gnated high quality by the Oxford Center for Evidence-bas.d Medicine-Levels.of *** Eight clinical s.udies.were included in the narrative des.riptive analys.s.gliclazide: 5 and linagliptin: 3). The CV s.fety of gliclazide in the Action in Diabetes.and Vas.ular Dis.as.: Preterax and Diamicron Modified Releas. Controlled Evaluation trial and of linagliptin in the Cardiovas.ular and Renal Microvas.ular Outcome s.udy With Linagliptin(CARMELINA) and CARdiovas.ular Outcome s.udy of LINAgliptin vs.glimepiride in patients.with T2D(CAROLINA)trials.were excluded from the comparative analys.s.as.thes. trials.demons.rated CV and hypoglycemia benefits.in patients.at high ris. of CVD. However, s.nce thes. are landmark trials.they were dis.us.ed in brief to s.ow the CV benefits.and low hypoglycemia ris. of gliclazide and linagliptin. Effect of angiotens.n converting enzyme gene I/D polymorphis. in patients.with metabolic s.ndrome in North Indian population

Background Numerous.s.udies.have inves.igated the effect of angiotens.n converting enzyme （ACE） gene I/D polymorphis. and various.cardiovas.ular ris. factors.in different populations.with varied res.lts. Currently, the as.ociation of ACE gene polymorphis. with metabolic s.ndrome has.not been s.udied in North Indians. While s.udies.as.es.ing the effect with polymorphis. on each of the components.of metabolic s.ndrome s.parately are pres.nt, data regarding the metabolic s.ndrome per s. are s.ars.. The pres.nt s.udy evaluated the effect of ACE gene I/D polymorphis. in patients.with metabolic s.ndrome in North Indian population at a tertiary care centre. Methods.Fifty s.bjects. with thirty cas.s.of metabolic s.ndrome （NCEP/ATP III guidelines. 2004） and twenty age and gender matched healthy controls.were chos.n. Detailed his.ory was.reviewed and clinical examination of the s.bjects.was.carried out. Relevant inves.igations.including blood glucos. （fas.ing and pos. prandial）, blood urea, s.rum creatinine and s.rum lipids.were done. DNA of cas.s.and controls.was.analys.d for I/D polymorphis. us.ng polymeras. chain reaction. Res.lts.D/D genotype was.more frequent in patients.with metabolic s.ndrome as.compared with healthy controls.（P 〈0.05）. s.s.olic blood pres.ure （s.P） and dias.olic blood pres.ure （DBP） was.s.gnificantly higher in the D/D genotype than I/D and I/I genotypes.（P 〈0.05）. Our s.udy als. s.owed pos.tive as.ociation between obes.ty, fas.ing blood glucos. and ACE gene polymorphis. while no as.ociation was.found with triglycerides.and high dens.ty lipoprotein choles.erol. The I/I group was.s.gnificantly as.ociated with wais. circumference and fas.ing blood glucos. （P 〈0.05）. Conclus.on Our s.udy clearly s.owed that metabolic s.ndrome was.as.ociated with ACE gene polymorphis.. However due to les. number of s.bjects.in the s.udy further s.udies.are needed to corroborate our res.lts.

PH-20 (s.am-1) antigen appears.to be a bi-functional s.erm plas.a membrane protein with hyaluronidas. activity and its.role is.related to cumulus.penetration as.well as.zona binding. (LDH-C4) is.a key enzyme, dis.ributed s.ecifically in tes.is.and is.highly immunogenic, function of which relates.to energy metabolis. and capacitation of the s.erm. Therefore, in this.s.udy, we obs.rved the effect of purified native PH-20 and LDH-C4 antigens.on s.erm function and morphology in dog. Native PH-20 (46, 32 kDa) and LDH-C4 (36, 30, 28) s.b units. purified from dog s.erm s.s. extracts.were us.d to tes. as.immunocontraceptive candidates.in s.ray dog. Dogs.1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6 and 7/8 were immunized with 46, 32, 36, 30/28, 46/32, 36/30/28 kDa s.b units.res.ectively by i/m route and s.men was.analys.d at weekly intervals. High titre of 3200 - 6400 was.achieved in all dogs.after three boos.ers. Immune res.ons. in treated dogs.was.confirmed by increas. in Ig level in blood s.rum and reaction of partially purified s.rum Ig of immunized dogs.with res.ective antigens.in double immune diffus.on and immunoblots. Immunization of dogs.either with individual PH-20/ LDHC s.b units.or pooled PH-20/LDHC4 s.b units.s.owed a s.gnificant effect on s.erm count, percent motility, viability, HOs. and s.erm morphology. All the s.erm parameters.declined to a s.gnificant level (p s.for fertile dog s.men till 175 DPI. The incubation of s.ermatozoa in HOs.s.lution in the pres.nce of anti-PH-20 and anti-LDHC Ig s.gnificantly reduced the percent HOs.pos.tive s.ermatozoa. A s.gnificant decline (p ≤ 0.05) in acrylamide penetration as.ay was.als. obs.rved in the pres.nce of anti 46 and 30/28 kDa Ig. s.nce percent motility, s.erm count, HOs. and percent normal s.ermatozoa in immunized dogs.were s.gnificantly les. than that of recommended fertile dog s.men, it can be concluded that PH-20 (46/32 kDa) and LDHC4 (36/30/28 kDa) s.b units

In many dioecious.plants. gender affects.economic value, breeding s.hemes.and opportunities.for commercial harves.s. Hippophae rhamnoides.L. is.a dioecious.plant s.ecies.in which female genotypes.are commercially preferred over male genotypes. Its.berries.have rich medicinal, nutritional and pharmaceutical properties.becaus. of their large amounts.of vitamins. es.ential oils. proteins. fatty acids. free amino acids.and flavanoids. Primary limitation for breeding H. rhamnoides.L. is.its.dioecious.nature, s.nce gender cannot be identified by traditional methods. Therefore, s.me reliable and quick methods.need to be developed. This.commu- nication deals.with the development of is.zyme and RAPD markers.for early s.x identification in this.dioecious.tree. The is.zyme analys.s.was.conducted with four enzyme s.s.ems. viz. peroxidas., es.eras., malate dehydrogenas. and catalas.. The peroxidas. enzyme s.s.em produced a female s.ecific s.x marker, which s.cces.fully differentiated between the s.aminate and pis.illate geno- types.ofH. rhamnoides.L. Thirty five random decamer primers.were us.d in our s.udy and one male s.x linked marker was.identified. OPD-20 （5＇-ACTTCGCCAC-3＇） dis.layed a band at 911 bp that expres.ed polymorphis. between male and female genotypes. The s.aminate and pis.illate genotypes.could be dis.inguis.ed us.ng RAPD marker OPD-209n. Thes. res.lts.revealed the immens. poten- tial of peroxidas. is.zyme patterns.and RAPD as.genetic markers.for s.x identification in H. rhamnoides.L.

In recent time, data analys.s.us.ng machine learning accelerates.optimized s.lutions.on clinical healthcare s.s.ems. The machine learning methods.greatly offer an efficient prediction ability in diagnos.s.s.s.em alternative with the clinicians. Mos. of the s.s.ems.operate on the extracted features.from the patients.and mos. of the predicted cas.s.are accurate. However, in recent time, the prevalence of COVID-19 has.emerged the global healthcare indus.ry to find a new drug that s.ppres.es.the pandemic outbreak. In this.paper, we des.gn a Deep Neural Network(DNN)model that accurately finds.the protein-ligand interactions.with the drug us.d. The DNN s.ns.s.the res.ons. of protein-ligand interactions.for a s.ecific drug and identifies.which drug makes.the interaction that combats.effectively the virus. With limited genome s.quence of Indian patients.s.bmitted to the GIs.ID databas., we find that the DNN s.s.em is.effective in identifying the protein-ligand interactions.for a s.ecific drug.
