Diapause is defined as a period of suspended development in insects and other invertebrates during unfavorable environmental conditions. Diapause is commonly confused with term ＂quiescence＂ as both are dormant development stages. Here this paper aimed to review the research work done on different aspects of diapause. Attempt was made to explain definitions of diapause, incidence, stages and termination of diapause, genetic control, factors affecting diapauses, including temperature, photoperiod, moisture and food, etc..

The present work covers the comparative evaluation of nanoemulsion based transdermal patches of Diclofenac Diethylamine （DDEA） with marketed patch. The comparative evaluation was done for the physical parameters like thickness, tackiness, and peel adhesion test and in-vitro release. The in-vitro release characteristics was compared using USP Dissolution apparatus 6 （Cylinder Type） and Keshary-Chein cells using cellulose mixed ester membrane. Dissolution studies were carried out in pH 6.5 phosphate buffer solution at stirring rate of 50rpm at 32 ± *** sampling points selected for the studies were 0, 2, 4, 12 and 24 hours. Nanoemulsions based transdermal therapeutic systems were found to have similar tackiness but better peel adhesion property than marketed patches. It was found that a nanoemulsion based transdermal patches with smaller size and reduced thickness can have a similar release profile to that of marketed patch with a good F2 value. The incorporated drug was released by the Fickian type of diffusion, as is evident by the slope values of less than 0.5 for the plots of log amount released Vs log time. The slope values of marketed and synthesized patches are 0.4 and 0.16 respectively. The correlation values of marketed and synthesized patches are 0.9941 and 0.9945 respectively. From comparative evaluation of physical parameters and in-vitro release profile, we can conclude that the synthesized nanoemulsion based transdermal patches could be a novel smaller sized transdermal dosage form for effective therapy but additional extradermal tests and experiments should be performed before the formulation is used in humans.

COVID-19,being the virus of fear and anxiety,is one of the most recent and emergent of various respiratory *** is similar to the MERS-COV and SARS-COV,the viruses that affected a large population of different countries in the year 2012 and 2002,*** standard models have been used for COVID-19 epidemic prediction but they suffered from low accuracy due to lesser data availability and a high level of *** proposed approach used a machine learning-based time-series Facebook NeuralProphet model for prediction of the number of death as well as confirmed cases and compared it with Poisson Distribution,and Random Forest *** analysis upon dataset has been performed considering the time duration from January 1st 2020 to16th July *** model has been developed to obtain the forecast values till September *** study aimed to determine the pandemic prediction of COVID-19 in the second wave of coronavirus in India using the latest Time-Series model to observe and predict the coronavirus pandemic situation across the *** India,the cases are rapidly increasing day-by-day since mid of Feb *** prediction of death rate using the proposed model has a good ability to forecast the COVID-19 dataset essentially in the second *** empower the prediction for future validation,the proposed model works effectively.
