In trace metal (TM)-contaminated agricultural soils,management of TM availability is important for safe crop *** addition,maintenance or improvement of soil quality is vital for sustainable crop *** TM phytoavailability and increased soil quality can be achieved by the application of various immobilizing agents to soil,which can supply both macronutrients and organic *** study investigated the long-term influences of four common immobilizing agents on soil biogeochemical properties and the phytoavailability of TMs in mixed metal-contaminated soil from a cultivated upland near an abandoned mining *** (L),gypsum (G),fly ash (F),and animal manure-based compost (C) were applied to pots containing contaminated soil,either individually or in *** incubation for three years under sequential cultivation of two crops and fallow,soil biogeochemical properties were determined,and brassica rapa plant bioassay was *** phytoavailability of all TMs (both cationic metals and anionic metalloids) remained significantly lower in soils treated with immobilizing agents even after three years,when compared with the no-agent control (CK) *** addition,the soil quality was significantly improved by treatment with immobilizing *** instance,the C and L+C treatments were the most effective in improving soil physical (bulk density,porosity,and water-resistant aggregate stability),chemical (pH,organic matter,total nitrogen,cation exchange capacity,and plant-available phosphorus,magnesium,and potassium),and biological (microbial biomass carbon and dehydrogenase activity) *** improvement of soil properties and lowering of TM bioavailability were also consistent with the most significant increase in *** biomass production observed in the C treatment,followed by the L+C,G+F,L,G,F,and L+G treatments,as compared with that in *** results indicate that the function of the TM-immobilizing agent as a soil qualit

There are numerous physical,social,and psychological benefits of exercise,sport and play for youth ***,dynamic activities come with a risk of injury that has yet to be abated,warranting novel therapeutics to promote injury-resistance and to keep an active lifestyle throughout the *** purpose of the present manuscript was to summarize the extant literature and potential connecting framework regarding youth brain development and neuroplasticity associated with musculoskeletal *** review provides the foundation for our proposed framework that utilizes the OPTIMAL(Optimizing Performance Through Intrinsic Motivation and Attention for Learning)theory of motor learning to elicit desir-able biomechanical adaptations to support injury prevention(injury risk reduction),rehabilitation strategies,and exercise performance for youth physical activity and play across all facets of sport(Prevention Rehabilitation Exercise Play;PREP).We conclude that both young male and females are ripe for OPTIMAL PREP strategies that promote desirable movement mechanics by leveraging a unique time window for which their heightened state of central nervous system plasticity is capable of enhanced adaptation through novel therapeutic interventions.

Youth may be particularly responsive to motor learning training strategies that support injury-resistant movement mechanics in youth for prevention programs that reduce injury risk,injury rehabilitation,exercise performance,and play more gener-ally(Optimizing Performance Through Intrinsic Motivation and Attention for Learning Prevention Rehabilitation Exercise Play;OPTIMAL PREP)One purpose of the present manuscript was to provide clinical applications and tangible examples of how to implement the proposed techniques derived from OPTIMAL theory into PREP strategies for youth.A secondary purpose was to review recent advances in technology that support the clinical application of OPTIMAL PREP strategies without extensive resources/programming knowledge to promote evidence-driven tools that will support practitioner feedback *** majority of examples provided are within the context of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)injury rehabilitation,but we emphasize the potential for OPTIMAL PREP strategies to be applied to a range of populations and training scenarios that will promote injury resistance and keep youth active and healthy.

The construction of a smooth muscle layer for blood vessel through electrospinning method plays a key role in vascular tissue ***,smooth muscle cells(SMCs)penetration into the electrospun graft to form a smooth muscle layer is limited due to the dense packing of fibers and lack of inducing *** this paper,silk fibroin/poly(L-lactide-e-caplacton)(SF/PLLA-CL)vascular graft loaded with platelet-rich growth factor(PRGF)was fabricated by *** in vitro results showed that SMCs cultured in the graft grew fast,and the incorporation of PRGF could induce deeper SMCs infiltrating compared to the SF/PLLA-CL graft *** properties measurement showed that PRGF-incorporated graft had proper tensile stress,suture retention strength,burst pressure and compliance which could match the demand of native blood *** success in the fabrication of PRGF-incorporated SF/PLLA-CL graft to induce fast SMCs growth and their strong penetration into graft has important application for tissue-engineered blood vessels.

运动单位由运动神经元及其支配的肌纤维组成。神经肌肉接头(neuromuscular junction,NMJ)传递受到严密的调节,因而能和运动单位的活动协调一致。在NMJ,神经调制物质的释放与运动单位的活动有关,并能决定突触传递的效能。脑源性神经营养因子(brain-derived ncurotrophic factor,bDNF)和神经营养因子4(neurotrophin-4,NT-4)由运动神经末梢和肌纤维产生。肌肉释放营养因子受肌肉活动调节。在NMJ,bDNF和NT-4通过激活酪氨酸激酶b受体(tyrosine kinase receptor brkb),能加强自发性和诱导性的突触活动。突触前Ca2+量的迅速增加或突触胞吐过程的易化,都能增加突触囊泡的释放,从而改善NMJ的突触传递。事实上,bDNF能促进突触前细胞内Ca2+的释放,Trkb的激活也能通过有丝分裂活化蛋白激酶,引起突触素I(synapsin I)的磷酸化,进而增加可释放的突触囊泡的数量。在NMJ,神经营养因子还能通过影响神经调节素(neuregulin)或其他神经源性调制物质的局部释放,对接头传递进行调节。本文对近年来在NMJ突触传递的调节,运动单位的NMJ特性以及神经营养因子对突触传递效能的影响等方面的研究进展做一综述。

Water security is a widely concerned issue in the world nowadays.A new method,water poverty index(WPI),was applied to evaluate the regional water *** state farms in Heilongjiang Province,Northeastern China were selected to evaluate water security status based on the data of 2006 using WPI and mean deviation grading *** method of WPI includes five key indices:resources(R),access(A),capacity(C),utilization(U)and environment(E).Each key index further consists of several *** to the results of WPI,the grade of each farm was calculated by using the method of mean deviation ***,the radar images can be protracted of each *** the radar images,the conclusions can be drawn that the WPI values of Farm 853 and Hongqiling are under very safe status,while that of Farm Raohe is under safe status,those of Farms Youyi,597,852,291 and Jiangchuan are under moderate safe status,that of Farm beixing is under low safe status and those of Farm Shuangyashan,Shuguang and baoshan are under unsafe *** results from this study can provide basic information for decision making on rational utilization of water resources and regulations for regional water safety guarantee system.
