Virtually coupled train set control subject to space-time separation: A distributed economic MPC approach.with.emergency braking configuration

Th. emerging virtual coupling tech.ology aims to operate multiple train units in a Virtually Coupled Train Set (VCTS) at a minimal but safe distance. To guarantee collision avoidance, th. safety distance sh.uld be calculated using th. state-of-th.-art space-time separation principle th.t separates th. Emergency Braking (EB) trajectories of two successive units during th. wh.le EB process. In th.s case, th. minimal safety distance is usually numerically calculated with.ut an analytic formulation. Th.s, th. constrained VCTS control problem is h.rd to address with.space-time separation, wh.ch.is still a gap in th. ex.sting literature. To solve th.s problem, we propose a Distributed Economic Model Predictive Control (DEMPC) approach.with.computation efficiency and th.oretical guarantee. Specifically, to alleviate th. computation burden, we transform implicit safety constraints into ex.licitly linear ones, such.th.t th. optimal control problem in DEMPC is a quadratic programming problem th.t can be solved efficiently. For th.oretical analysis, sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee th. recursive feasibility and stability of DEMPC, employing compatibility constraints, tube tech.iques and terminal ingredient tuning. Moreover, we ex.end our approach.with.globally optimal and distributed online EB configuration meth.ds to sh.rten th. minimal distance among VCTS. Leptin Modulates th. Differentiation of Keratinocytes via Autoph.gy in Psoriasis Patients with.Metabolic Syndrome

Objective: Psoriasis is associated with.a h.gh.prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS), and patients with.concomitant psoriasis and MS are more severely affected and less responsive to treatment. h.wever, th. molecular mech.nisms beh.nd th.se effects are unknown. Recent studies h.ve sh.wn th.t leptin may serve as a molecular link between psoriasis and MS, suggesting th.t h.gh.leptin concentrations may ex.cerbate psoriasis. h.wever, th. molecular mech.nism of th.s effect is still unclear. We aimed to investigate th. effect of leptin on autoph.gy in patients with.psoriasis. Meth.ds: From January 2021 to June 2022 in PLA General h.spital, we enrolled 51 patients with.psoriasis, including 21 patients with.MS and 30 with.ut MS, and 30 h.alth. controls wh. h.d undergone nevus surgery. We measured th. epidermal leptin, P62, and LC3B concentrations of patients by immunoh.stoch.mistry, and measured th. serum leptin concentration by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. We th.n performed correlation analyses to compare th.se proteins' concentrations between patients with.concomitant psoriasis and MS, patients with.psoriasis alone, and h.alth. control groups. Additionally, we performed western blotting after in vitro culture of h.CaT cells with.different concentrations of leptin and measured th. ex.ression levels of th. autoph.gy markers Beclin1, LC3B, and P62; th. differentiation markers K10, K16, and K17; and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling path.ay-related proteins of h.Cat cells. Nex., we transfected ATG5 into h.CaT cells to revert autoph.gy and used th. specific PI3K inh.bitor LY294002 to block PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling. Th. ex.ression levels of K10, K16, and K17 of h.Cat cells were again measured. One-way analysis of variance was used for th. comparison of means of multiple samples, and LSD-t post h.c test was used for comparison between th. 2 groups. Microarray analysis of signalling interactions between inflammation and angiogenesis in subch.ndral bone in temporomandibular joint osteoarth.itis

Inflammation and angiogenesis, th. major path.logical ch.nges of osteoarth.itis (OA), are closely associated with.joint pain; h.wever, pertinent signalling interactions with.n subch.ndral bone of osteoarth.itic joints and potential contribution to th. periph.ral origin of OA pain remain to be elucidated. h.rein we developed a unilateral anterior crossbite mouse model with.osteoarth.itic ch.nges in th. temporomandibular joint. Microarray-based transcriptome analysis, besides quantitative real-time polymerase ch.in reaction, was performed to identify differentially ex.ressed genes (DEGs). Overall, 182 DEGs (fold ch.nge ≥ 2, P h. control and unilateral anterior crossbite groups: 168 were upregulated and 14 were downregulated. On subjecting significant DEGs to enrich.ent analyses, inflammation and angiogenesis were identified as th. most affected. Inflammation-related DEGs were mainly enrich.d in T cell activation and differentiation and in th. mammalian target of rapamycin/nuclear factor-κB/tumour necrosis factor signalling. Furth.rmore, angiogenesis-related DEGs were mainly enrich.d in th. Gene Ontology terms angiogenesis regulation and vasculature development and in th. KEGG path.ays of ph.sph.inositide 3-kinase-protein kinase B/vascular endoth.lial growth.factor/h.pox.a-inducible factor 1 signalling. Protein– protein interaction analysis revealed a close interaction between inflammation-and angiogenesis-related DEGs, suggesting th.t ph.sph.tidylinositol-4,5-bisph.sph.te 3-kinase catalytic subunit delta (Pi3kcd), cath.licidin antimicrobial peptide (Camp), C-x.C motif ch.mokine receptor 4 (Cx.r4), and MYB proto-oncogene transcription factor (Myb) play a central role in th.ir interaction. To summarize, our findings reveal th.t in subch.ndral bone of osteoarth.itic joints, signal interaction is interrelated between inflammation and angiogenesis and associated with.th. periph.ral origin of OA pain; moreover, our data h.gh.igh. potential t

Distributed fix.d-time observers for linear time-invariant systems

A class of distributed fix.d-time convergent observers is designed based on th. bi-limit weigh.ed h.mogeneous approx.mation th.ory and observability decomposition for th. distributed state estimation of linear time-invariant systems. Firstly, for a single-input-single-output integrating ch.in system, a centralized fix.d-time observer is designed for th. system using bi-limit weigh.ed h.mogeneous estimation. Th.n, th. linear time-invariant system is decomposed into observable and unobservable subsystems based on th. observability decomposition. Each.agent in th. sensor network reconstructs local observable sub-states in a fix.d time based on th. centralized observer by using only th. system output measurements, and th.n state information between th. agents is used to construct a consistent algorith. to estimate th. local unobservable sub-states in a fix.d time, th.s realizing state omniscience in a fix.d time. Unlike previous works, th.s paper does not need to construct a specific Lyapunov function to give an ex.ression for th. convergence time.
