This paper considers a class of stochastic variational inequality problems. As proposed by Jiang and Xu （2008）, by using the so-called regularized gap function, the authors formulate the problems as constrained optimization problems and then propose a sample average approximation method for solving the problems. Under some moderate conditions, the authors investigate the limiting behavior of the optimal values and the optimal solutions of the approximation problems. Finally, some numerical results are reported to show efficiency of the proposed method.

Due to the similarity in composition and crystal structure of some Ti Al Si ternary intermetallics,it is quite difficult to accurately confirm their physic characteristics,and thus,to tailor microstructure to improve mechanical properties of metal materials related to the Ti Al Si ***,the formation process of Ti Al Si intermetallics was investigated during heating Ti-A356 mixed powder compact at a A356 alloy semisolid temperature of 595℃.The results indicated that two kinds of intermetallics ofτ1(tetragonal,I41/amd)andτ2(orthorhombic,Cmcm)generated,and both the concentration and supply direction of Ti atoms,which are related to local breakage of oxide films on neighboring Ti and A356 alloy powders,determined the phase and morphology of the intermetallics.τ1 andτ2 crystals all had an intrinsic plate morphology,butτ2 crystals were thinner due to more anisotropic growth resulted from their high density of stacking faults(SFs).τ1 lamellar domains generated during growth ofτ2 crystals,which were accompanied by decrease in density of *** combined effect of size difference and internal energy difference betweenτ1 andτ2 crystals made largeτ1 crystals coarsen at the expense ofτ2 crystals in Ostwald ripening,leading them to finally evolve into an agglomerate of largeτ1 plates.

The methods for determining electron beam direction and misorientation angle/axis of grain boundaries are described in this paper. The present methods are based on a series of diffraction spot patterns obtained by systematic tilt of the crystal, combined with simple mathematical calculations. Instead of the use of Kikuchi patterns, the limitations resulting from the visibility or sharpness of Kikuchi lines and the number of Kikuchi pole(s) existed are avoided and a sufficient accuracy of determination has been achieved.

A study was conducted to examine the isothermal oxidation behavior of a new Ni-Cr-W-AI alloy in air at 1250℃ with different time. Oxidation kinetics was determined from weight-change measurements. The microstructure and composition of the oxide scale were investigated by means of scanning electron microcopy and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the oxide scales of the alloy were a compact and continuous outer Cr2O3 and NiCr2O4 layer and an inner Al2O3 layer that was in dendrite shape. Oxides scales with good adherence were formed on the surface of the alloy, which made the alloy perform excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance.

Determination of Vapor Pressure of Liquid Copper by Carrier Gas method

The relationship between the vapor pressure of liquid copper and the flow rate of carrier gas argon was discussed, when the carrier gas method was used to determine the vapor pressure of liquid copper at 1892 K. The proper argon flow rate range obtained was 150-500 mL/min and enough evidence was provided to verify the vapor pressure-flow rate of carrier gas relationship at the target temperature. Based on the proper flow rate range, the vapor pressure of liquid copper was measured at 1609-1892 K. The relationship of vapor pressure-temperature obtained by the method of regression analysis can be expressed as： In（p/Pa） = （25.470 -I- 0.903） - （39099.8 -4- 1574.5）/T, Further, the thermodynamic properties including the heat of vaporization and the Gibbs free energy of the Cu （I） = Cu （g） reaction were calculated by the vapor pressiJre obtained over the temperature range covered.

The blade precision forging process is a forming process with high temperature and large plastic deformation. Interaction of deformation and heat conduction leads to large uneven distribution of temperature. The unevenness of temperature distribution has a great effect on mechanical properties and the microstracture of materials. So it is necessary to consider the influence of temperature on the precision forging process of blades. Taking a blade with a tenon into consideration, a 3D mechanical model in precision forging is built up. The distribution laws of temperature field and the influence of the temperature on the equivalem stress in the process are obtained by using 3-D coupled thermo-mechanical FEm code developed by the authors Theresuits obtained illustrate that the influence of the temperature field on the blade forging process is considerable. The achievements of predicting microstructure and mechanical properties for forged blades is significant.

The directionally solidified samples of an ultra-high temperature Nb-Si-Ti-Hf-Cr-Al alloy have been prepared with the use of an electron beam floating zone melting (EBFZm) furnace, and their microstructural characteristics have been analyzed. All the primary dendrites of Nb solid solution (Nbss), eutectic colonies of Nba, plus (Nb, Ti)3 Si/(Nb, Ti)5 Si3 and chains of (Nb, Ti)3 Si/(Nb, Ti)5 Si3 plates align along the growth direction of the samples. With increasing of the withdrawing rate, the microstructure is refined, and the amounts of Nbss+ (Nb, Ti)3 Si/(Nb, Ti)5 Si3 eutectic colonies and (Nb, Ti)3 Si/(Nb, Ti)5 Si3 plates increase. There appear nodes in the (Nb, Ti)3 Si/(Nb, Ti)5 Si3 plates.

Development and experiment of the intelligent control system for rhizosphere temperature of aeroponic lettuce via the Internet of Things

Currently,in the conventional aeroponic system the collection of data for crop performance is quite slow,whereas such data are typically collected ***,the root zone temperature is one of the most important factors affecting plant growth in aeroponics *** study aimed to obtain temperature and relative humidity data inside an aeroponic system based on the Internet of things(IoT)and automatically cool the root zone using a novel low-cost effective technique for cooling via a cooling fan connected to the Arduino *** results revealed that the newly designed system could monitor and record the data in real-time on an internet server per ***,the temperature and humidity data can be displayed on the smartphone application,and be sent to the personal email weekly as an excel *** system was able to maintain the temperatures inside the roots chamber between 28.7℃-29.2℃ while the maximum external temperature was 38.1℃,and the average temperature in the traditional aeroponics system was fluctuating between 29.5℃-31.5℃.The newly automated cooling system root zone system of this study showed an optimization of lettuce growth *** significantly increased the lettuce absorbance of inorganic nutrients such as N,P,and K by 45.5%,66.6%,and 45.0%,respectively,also revealed an increment of fresh weight,total chlorophyll,ascorbic acid,total carbohydrate,and total amino acids by 131.0%,26.2%,41.9%,30.7%,6.2%,respectively in comparison with the conventional aeroponic ***,this study may play a significant role in the aeroponic monitoring and control,for providing more suitable growth parameters and achieving the least human interaction.
