Synthesis of free-standing Ga_2O_3 films for flexible devices by water etching of Sr_3Al_2O_6 sacrificial layers

Flexible electronic devices have attracted much attention due to their practical and commercial value. Integration of thin films with soft substrate is an effective way to fabricate flexible electronic devices. Ga_2O_3 thin films deposited directly on soft substrates would be amorphous mostly. However, the thickness of the thin film obtained by mechanical exfoliation method is difficult to control and the edge of the film is fragile and easy to be damaged. In this work, we fabricated free-standing Ga_2O_3 thin films using the water-soluble perovskite Sr_3Al_2O_6 as a sacrificial buffer layer. The obtained Ga_2O_3 thin films were polycrystalline. The thickness and dimension of the films were controllable. A flexible Ga_2O_3solar-blind UV photodetector was fabricated by transferring the free-standing Ga_2O_3 film on a flexible polyethylene terephthalate substrate. The results displayed that the photoelectric performances of the flexible Ga_2O_3 photodetector were not sensitive to bending of the device. The free-standing Ga_2O_3 thin films synthesized through the method described here can be transferred to any substrates or integrated with other thin films to fabricate electronic devices.

New insights into the role of spermine in enhancing the antioxidant capacity of rat spleen and liver under oxidative stress

Oxidative stress can damage cellular antioxidant defense and reduce livestock production *** is a ubiquitous cellular component that plays important roles in stabilizing nucleic acids,modulating cell growth and differentiation, and regulating ion channel activities. Spermine has the potential to alleviate the effects of oxidative stress. However, to date no information is available about the effect of spermine administration on antioxidant property of the liver and spleen in any mammalian in vivo system. This study aims to investigate the protective effect of spermine on rat liver and spleen under oxidative stress. Rats received intragastric administration of either 0.4 μmol/g body weight of spermine or saline once a day for 3 days. The rats in each treatment were then injected with either diquat or sterile saline at 12 mg/kg body weight. Liver and spleen samples were collected 48 h after the last spermine *** showed that regardless of diquat treatment, spermine administration significantly reduced the malondialdehyde(MDA) content by 23.78% in the liver and by 5.75% in the spleen, respectively(P dical(AHR) capacity and glutathione(GSH) content by 38.68%, 15.53% and 1.32% in the spleen, respectively(Pdiquat injection about anti-superoxide anion(ASA),AHR capacity, CAT activity, GSH content, and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) in the liver and about ASA capacity and T-AOC in the spleen of weaned rats(P diquat group, spermine + diquat group significantly increased ASA capacity by 15.63

Assessment of structural brain changes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus using the MRI-based brain atrophy and lesion index

Comprehensive analysis of gene mutations and mismatch repair in Chinese colorectal cancer patients

Photoluminescence(PL) spectra of two different green InGaN/GaN multiple quantum well(MQW) samples S1 and S2,respectively with a higher growth temperature and a lower growth temperature of InGaN well layers are analyzed over a wide temperature range of 6 K-3 30 K and an excitation power range of 0.001 mW-75 *** excitation power-dependent PL peak energy and linewidth at 6 K show that in an initial excitation power range,the emission process of the MQW is dominated simultaneously by the combined effects of the carrier scattering and Coulomb screening for both the samples,and both the carrier scattering effect and the Coulomb screening effect are stronger for S2 than those for S1;in the highest excitation power range,the emission process of the MQWs is dominated by the filling effect of the high-energy localized states for S1,and by the Coulomb screening effect for *** behaviors can be attributed to the fact that sample S2 should have a higher amount of In content in the InGaN well layers than S1 because of the lower growth temperature,and this results in a stronger component fluctuation-induced potential fluctuation and a stronger well/barrier lattice mismatchinduced quantum-confined Stark *** explanation is also supported by other relevant measurements of the samples,such as temperature-dependent peak energy and excitation-power-dependent internal quantum efficiency.

We investigate high time resolution data obtained by the Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)during the flare event on 2022 April 21 at 01:52 *** subpeaks with durations of 4-6 s have been detected in the hard X-ray precursor phase,and the key feature is that they appear in pairs and seem like double-peak *** subpeaks are rarely observed in hard X-ray band and confirmed by the microwave obtained by Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters(NoRP)and Radio Solar Telescope Network(RSTN).While an exponential function can describe the continuum component of the time profile from the precursor to part of the impulsive *** periods of quasi-periodic pulsations(QPPs)are detected to be about 7.3 and 12.8 s for the precursor and impulsive phase,respectively,with at least 95%confidence *** paired QPPs are assumed to be double-peak QPPs and then the scenario of current loop coalescence model is found to be in good agreement with our *** precursor phase can be interpreted as the oscillating coalescence of two islands,while the impulsive phase can be interpreted as more islands to coalesce one by one to form larger islands.
