Thickening progression mechanism of silica fume-oil well cement composite system at high temperatures

This work studied the thickening progression mechanism of the silica fume-oil well cement composite system at high temperatures(110-180.C) in order to provide a theoretical guidance for the rational application of silica fume in the cementing engineering. Results showed that silica fume seldom affected the thickening progression of oil well cement slurry at 110-120.C, but when temperature reached above130.C, it would aggravate the bulging degree of thickening curves and significantly extend the thickening time, meanwhile causing the abnormal “temperature-based thickening time reversal” and“dosage-based thickening time reversal” phenomena in the range of 130-160.C and 170-180.C respectively. At 130-160.C, the thickening time of oil well cement slurry was mainly associated with the generation rate of calcium hydroxide(CH) crystal. The introduced silica fume would be attracted to the cement minerals' surface that were hydrating to produce CH and agglomerate together to form an“adsorptive barrier” to hinder further hydration of the inner cement minerals. This “adsorptive barrier”effect strengthened with the rising temperature which extended the thickening time and caused the occurrence of the “temperature-based thickening time reversal” phenomenon. At 170-180.C, the pozzolanic activity of silica fume significantly enhanced and considerable amount of C-S-H was generated, thus the “temperature-based thickening time reversal” vanished and the “dosage-based thickening time reversal” was presented.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCGe)detector(CDEX-1B,1.008 kg)in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of^(76)Ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1989–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower limit on the half life of^(76)Ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1/2)^(0ν)>1.0×10^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper limits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the China Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

Shape setup （SSU） system is the core technology for hot strip mill （HSM）. A precise SSU system was used to improve the strip quality for HSM. The function of SSU, setup, and feedback was introduced. The main mathematical models of roll gap profile and longitudinal strain difference are set up. Strip profile allocation strategy was researched according to the SSU system of a domestic 1 700 mm HSM. The SSU system was put into practical use and the measurement results showed that strip flatness variation and strip profile variation could be controlled in target scope.

Aluminum phosphate(AlPO_(4))was used to modify the surface of liNi_(1/3)Co_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)O_(2)(NCM)cathode *** surface structure and electrochemical properties of the coated materials were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The results confirm the formation of aluminum-containing solid solution on the surface of NCM *** aluminum phosphate coating blocks the li+insertion-extraction process in cells charged at high rates at room temperature,increasing surface film resistance and decreasing discharge ***,an aluminum phosphate aids the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interface film on NCM surface and stabilizes the Rct of cell as samples electrochemically cycled at 55℃.The electrochemical studies suggest that the initial columbic efficiency is significantly *** NCM sample coated with 1.0 wt%AlPO_(4) delivers a higher discharge capacity and shows excellent capacity retention ability.

Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAS scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.Recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,SARS-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

AIM: To investigate whether KAI1, as a metastasis suppressor gene, is associated with invasive and metastatic ability of pancreatic cancer ***: KAI1 gene was transfected into pancreatic cancer cell line MiaPaCa Ⅱ by liposomes selected with G418. Expression of transfected cells was measured by Western blotting, immunofluorescence and immunocytochemistry. Tumor cell invasion and metastatic ability were detected through gelatinase activity and reconstituted basement membrane (Matrigel) assay. pCMV-KAI1 was directly injected into the heterotopic human pancreatic adenocarcinoma successfully established in the groin of BALB/C nude mice, by subcutaneous injection of MiaPaCa Ⅱ pancreatic cancer cells. The statistical analysis between groups was determined by Student's two tailed t ***: By Western blotting, MiaPaCa Ⅱ cells transfected by KAI1 gene indicated KAI1 expression at approximately 29.1 kDa. Cytoplasm staining was positive and uniformly spread in transfected cancer cells, using immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. The most obvious difference was present after 30 h (MiaPaca Ⅱ 43.6 ± 9.42, pCMV-MiaPaca Ⅱ 44.8 ± 8.56, pCMV-KAI1-MiaPaca Ⅱ 22.0 ± 4.69, P lipofectamine 1.22 ± 0.31 in A group were lower than control 4.61 ± 1.98 and pCMV-KAI 11.67 ± 0.81.
