In their commentary, Xiao et al.[1]cautioned that the conclusions on the critical role of microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) in global soil organic carbon (SOC) storage in the paper by Tao et al.[2] might be too *** claimed that Tao et al.’s study lacked mechanistic consideration of SOC formation and excluded important data *** et al. brought up important points,which can be largely reconciled with our findings by understanding the differences in expressing processes in empirical studies and in models.

The scaling relation of central massive black holes(M_(BH)s)and their host galaxies is well-studied for supermassive BHs(SM_(BH)s,M_(BH)≥10^(6)M_(⊙)).However,this relation has large uncertainties in the mass range of the intermediate-mass BHs(IM_(BH)s,M_(BH)~10^(3)-10^(6)M_(⊙)).Since green pea(gP)galaxies are luminous compact dwarf galaxies,which may be likely to host less massive SM_(BH)s or even IM_(BH)s,we systematically search for M_(BH)s in a large sample of 2190 gP galaxies at zgle-epoch virial masses ranging from M_(BH)~10^(4.7)to 10^(8.5)M_(⊙)(median 105.85±0.64M_(⊙)).Among the 59 M_(BH) candidates,36 have black hole masses M_(BH)≤10^(6)M_(⊙)(IM_(BH) candidates),one of which even has M_(BH)■10^(5)M_(⊙).We find that the M_(BH)-M_(*)relation of our M_(BH) sample is consistent with the M_(BH)-M_(bulge)relation for SM_(BH)s,while is above the M_(BH)-M_(*)relation for M_(BH)s in dwarf galaxies in the same mass ***,we show that 25 M_(BH) candidates,including 4 IM_(BH) candidates,have additional evidence of black hole activities,assessed through various methods such as the broad-line width,BPT diagram,mid-infrared color,X-ray luminosity,and radio *** studies show that it is very promising to find IM_(BH)s in gP galaxies,and the BH sample so obtained enables us to probe the connection between the M_(BH)s and compact dwarf galaxies in the low-redshift Universe.

For unachievable tracking problems, where the system output cannot precisely track a given reference, achieving the best possible approximation for the reference trajectory becomes the objective. This study aims to investigate solutions using the Ptype learning control scheme. Initially, we demonstrate the necessity of gradient information for achieving the best ***, we propose an input-output-driven learning gain design to handle the imprecise gradients of a class of uncertain systems. However, it is discovered that the desired performance may not be attainable when faced with incomplete *** address this issue, an extended iterative learning control scheme is introduced. In this scheme, the tracking errors are modified through output data sampling, which incorporates lowmemory footprints and offers flexibility in learning gain *** input sequence is shown to converge towards the desired input, resulting in an output that is closest to the given reference in the least square sense. Numerical simulations are provided to validate the theoretical findings.

Paddy soils are an important source of atmospheric nitrous oxide(N_(2)O).However,numerous studies have focused on N_(2)O production during the soil tillage period,neglecting the N_(2)O production during the dry fallow *** this study,we conducted an incubation experiment using the acetylene inhibition technique to investigate N_(2)O emission and reduction rates of paddy soil profiles(0-1 m)from guangdong Province and Jinlin Province in China,with different heavy-metal pollution *** abundance and community structures of denitrifying bacteria were determined via quantitative-PCR and Illumina MiSeq sequencing of nosz,nirK,and nirS *** results showed that the potential N_(2)O emission rate,N_(2)O production rate,and denitrification rate have decreased with increasing soil vertical depth and heavy-metal *** importantly,we found that the functional gene type of N_(2)O reductase switched with the tillage state of paddy soils,which cladeⅡnos z genes were the dominant gene during the tillage period,while cladeⅠnos z genes were the dominant gene during the dry fallow *** heavy-metal pollution has less effect on the niche differentiation of the nos z *** N_(2)O emission rate was significantly regulated by the genus Bradyhizobium,which contains both N_(2)O reductase and nitrite reductase *** findings suggests that the nos z gene of N_(2)O reductase can significantly impact the N_(2)O emission from paddy soils.

Multi-boson productions can be exploited as novel probes either for standard model precision tests or new physics searches,and have become a popular research topic in ongoing LHC experiments and future collider studies,including those for electron–positron and muon–muon *** this study,we focus on two examples,i.e.,zzz direct productions through μ^(+)μ^(-) annihilation at a 1TeV muon collider,and zz productions through vector boson scattering(VBS)at a 10TeV muon collider,with an integrated luminosity of 10 ab^(-1).Various channels are considered,including zzz→4l2v and zzz→4l+*** expected significance on these multi-z boson production processes is reported based on a detailed Monte Carlo study and signal background *** on anomalous gauge boson couplings are also presented.

Data from the Tibet air shower array were used to examine the cosmic ray shadows of the Moon and the Sun at energies around *** shadowing effect was clearly observed at the 5.8level for the Moon,while the shadow of the Sun was found in the direction away from the sun by 0.86°tothe west and 0.43°to the *** effect of the geomagnetic field has also been observed in the shadow of cosmic rays by the *** observed deflection of the sun’s shadow is briefly discussed in connection with the effect of the magnetic fields between the sun and the *** is the first observation of the effects of such magnetic fields on the cosmic ray *** maximum-likelihood analysis of the Moon data set shows that the angular resolutions of the array for showers with its mode energies 7TeVand 35TeV are 0.87°-0.13°+0.10°and 0.54°-0.08°+0.11°,respectively.

T1 colorectal cancer(CRC),defined by tumor invasion confined to the submucosa,has historically been managed by *** understanding of recurrence and lymph node metastases risk,coupled with advances in endoscopic resection techniques,have led to an increasing capacity for organ-sparing local *** invasive management of T1 CRC begins with optical evaluation of the lesion to diagnose invasive disease and quantify depth of invasion,which informs therapeutic decision *** selection between various available endoscopic resection techniques depends upon lesion characteristics,technique risk-benefit profiles,and location-specific *** endoscopic resection,established histopathology features determine the risk of recurrence and subsequent management including surveillance or adjuvant surgical *** management of non-operative candidates deviates from conventional recommendations with emerging treatment strategies in select populations.
