This study is to survey 10 y-STR loci in 241 males from Turkey. In this study, the 241 healthy and unrelated males living in different parts of Turkey for at least three generations were included. genomic DNAs were isolated from peripheral blood samples by standard phenol-chloroform extraction method. 10 y-STR loci including DyS19, DyS385a/b, DyS388, DyS389I/II, DyS390, DyS391, DyS392, DyS393, and yCAIIa/b were analyzed by using PCR and denaturing PAgE. Allele frequencies, gene diversities and haplotype frequencies were analyzed. gene diversity per locus varied from 0.5788 (DyS388) to 0.8903 (DyS385a/b). The numbers of haplotypes in minHt recommended by yCC and Ht10 have been 208 and 186, respectively. When our minHt haplotypes frequencies compared with the other seven populations, we have found statistically significant differences between our results and other populations (P 0.05). We suggest that an alternative haplotype designated as aHt maybe alternative to minHt in respect of its y-STR content with the highest gene diversity value. The aHt haplotype has found a higher discriminatory potential than minHt haplotype with a better Pd combined value (0.9999936 vs 0.9999836) and has higher average gene diversity per locus (0.7834 vs 0.7518) in Turkish population. aHt haplotype can be proposed as an alternative to minHt in paternity testing and forensic medicine applications involving Turkish male population. This study has also provided additional information to the framework of variation involving 10 y-STR loci as well as a further contribution to the y-STR database for Turkish male population.

Since their introduction in 1987,hydroxymethyl glutaryl coenzyme A reductase(HMg-CoA)inhibitors,more commonly known as statins,have become some of the most widely prescribed medications in the *** generally considered to be safe and well tolerated,statins have been associated with several side effects including mild liver dysfunction manifested by increases in ***,statins have been noted to induce more serious hepatic injury,including liver injury with autoimmune *** literature supports statin induced liver injury presenting in either hepatocellular or cholestatic patterns,though with the former being the prevailing pattern of ***,severe liver injury is uncommon with statin use and is generally reversible without any intervention other than offending statin *** evaluating cases of suspected statininduced liver injury,a complete medical history,laboratory tests including a complete metabolic panel,autoimmune markers,and viral panel,as well as hepatic imaging,are crucial for a complete causality analysis with validated tools such as Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment *** aim of this review is to review the current evidence for statininduced liver injury and cholestasis.

One of today＇s major challenges is to provide green materials for a cleaner environment. We have conducted studies on carbon dioxide（CO2） adsorption and conversion to valuable products by an ecofriendly approach based in chitosan/graphene oxide（CSgO） nanocomposite film. Rheological behavior indicates that the CSgO has a better solvation property than the pure chitosan. An adsorption capacity of 1.0152 mmol CO2/g of CSgO nanocomposite at4.6 bar was observed. The catalytic behavior of the CSgO nanocomposite in the presence of tetra-n-butylammonium iodide（n-Bu4 NI） as co-catalyst was evaluated for the cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides, to give cyclic carbonates, in the absence of any solvent. These results strongly suggest that the CSgO nanocomposite may open new vistas towards the development of ecofriendly material for catalytic conversion and adsorption of CO2 on industrial scale.

Thermal oxidative and aging as an inevitable process in the practical application of road asphalt has great effect on the properties of asphalt. In this paper,the influences of short-term thermal oxidative ageing and ultraviolet radiation(UV) aging on the dynamic viscosity,penetration,softening point and rheological properties of two kinds of layered inorganic nano-powder including organo-modified montmorillonite (OMMT) and nanometer brucite (Mg(OH)2) modified asphalts were studied respectively. The rheological properties of these binders have been determined using a dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) through temperatures sweep *** rheological and physical analysis showed the two major influences of ageing on the properties for two kinds of layered inorganic nano-powder modified bitumens. On one hand,ageing decreased the viscous behaviors of modified binders,on the other hand,ageing improved the elastic behaviors of modified binders. The performances of binders after aging depended on the combined effect between the modifier and the bitumen. Both the two modifiers resisted the aging of bitumens and the effect of OMMT was better.

The equation of states,diffusions,and viscosities of strongly coupled Fe at 80 and 240 eV with densities from 1.6 to 40 g/cm^(3) are studied by orbital-free molecular dynamics,classical molecular dynamics with a corrected yukawa potential and compared with the results from average atom model.A new local pseudopotential is generated for orbital free *** low densities,the yukawa model captures the correct ionic interaction behavior around the first peak of the radial distribution function(RDF),thus it gives correct RDFs and transport *** higher densities,the scaled transformation of the yukawa potential or adding a short range repulsion part to the yukawa potential can give correct RDFs and transport *** corrected potentials are further validated by the force matching method.

Ceramic-reinforced metal matrix composites(MMCs)display beneficial properties owing to their combination of ceramic and metal ***,the properties are highly dependent on the reinforcing phase composition,volume fraction and *** fiber or network reinforcement morphologies are difficult and expensive to manufacture,and the often-used discontinuous particle or whisker reinforcement morphologies result in less effective ***,we demonstrate the formation of a co-continuous ceramic-reinforced metal matrix composite using solid-state *** jet additive manufacturing(BJAM)was used to print a nickel superalloy part followed by post-processing via reactive sintering to form a continuous carbide reinforcing phase at the particle *** kinetics of reinforcement formation are investigated in order to develop a relationship between reactive sintering time,temperature and powder composition on the reinforcing phase thickness and volume *** evaluate performance,the wear resistance of the reinforced BJAM alloy 625 MMC was compared to unreinforced BJAM alloy 625,demonstrating a 64%decrease in the specific wear rate under abrasive wear conditions.

To examine the procoagulant effects of thrombolytic agent on h emostasis and study the role of hemostatic markers as predictors of clinical outcomes. Methods. In the present study, eighteen patients with acute myocardial in farction(AMI) received 1.5 or 2.0 million U nonspecific urokinase(UK), or 70～80 mg fibrin specific recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(rt PA)and did not use heparin until 8 hours after intravenous injection of the above agents. Eig ht patients with AMI and without thrombolytic therapy were enrolled as controls. Coagulant and thrombolytic activity markers included thrombin antithrombin Ⅲ complex (TAT), D dimer, fibrinogen (Fg), FMPV/Amax. All markers were determined before,immediately,1,2,4 and 8 hours after the administration of thrombolytic a gents respectively. Results. Molecular marker of thrombin generation——TAT showed an activated coa gulant state immediately after thrombolytic therapy. Level of TAT showed no sign ificant changes between every two observed phases in controls. However, level of TAT increased significantly from 4.95±1.75μg/L ( 4.63±1.37μg/L) to 14.71±3 .31μg/L ( 14.25±2.53μg/L) before and immediately after administration of thro mbolytic agents UK(or rt PA). There was significant difference between level of serum TAT of patients with and without thrombolytic therapy (Pg clinical reperfusion had lower TAT level than those failing in thromb olytic therapy, and higher FMPV/Amax level than controls. D dimer, a surrogate of thrombolytic activity increased markedly and Fg significantly declined afte r thrombolytic therapy(Pgeneration occurred in plasma in response to excess fibri nolysis induced by thrombolytic therapy. Both urokinase and rt PA had procoagul ant action. This transient activation of the coagulant system might contribute t o early reocclusion. A model considering quantitative effects of diffused carbon and nitrogen gradients and kinetics of phase transformation is presented to examine metallo-thermo-mechanical behavior during carburized and nitrided quenching. Coupled simulation of diffusion, phase transformation and stress/strain provides the final distribution of carbon and nitrogen contents as well as residual stress and distortion. Effects of both transformation and lattice expansion induced by carbon and nitrogen absorption were introduced into calculating the evolution of the internal stress and strain. In order to verify the method and the results, the simulated distributions of carbon and nitrogen content and residual stress/strain of a ring model during carburized and nitrided quenching were compared with the measured data.

Purpose Photon source has developed to the fourth *** requirements for beam stability and power supply output current stability have been greatly *** this paper,a precision acquisition system is designed for improving the stability for power supply output *** The acquisition system consists of two parts,the analog to digital converter(ADC)system and the temperature control *** composition and software simulation analysis are given in this *** A prototype is made and *** test results showed that the acquisition system has an effective resolution of 15.5 bits,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of 98 dB,and integral nonlinearity(INL)of 86 *** internal temperature stable range is±0.06℃.Conclusions The acquisition system can fully meet the requirements of the developed photon source.
