In view of the current study’s demonstration of the synthesis of clay-doped ZnO composites,we present a low-cost method for producing clay-metal oxide(clay/ZnO).Utilizing the solution combustion technique,a composite of clay/ZnO was produced utilizing citric acid as both a fuel and a complexing *** hexagonal unit cell structure of the created clay/ZnO may be seen using XrD *** ZnO-infused clay was visible in FE-SEM micrographs as homogenous,sphere-shaped *** possible involvement of clay/ZnO photocatalytic activity in the UV-induced photodegradation of malachite green dye was *** 90%degradation rate shows the composite’s outstanding photocatalytic degradation *** resulting substance was electrochemically analyzed using a constructed electrode in 0.1 M KOH *** increased its sensor capabilities,which now include chemical and biomolecule sensors,and it excelled in cyclic voltammetry-based redox potential *** efficiently evaluate chemically synthesized NPs for electrochemical,sensing,and photocatalytic applications,this study intends to create a solution combustion procedure for the synthesis of clay/ZnO nanocomposite using urea as fuel.

This article elucidates the impact of activation energy on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)stagnation point nanofluid flow over a slippery surface in a porous regime with thermophoretic and Brownian *** activation energy is scarce in practice,but the impact of negative activation energy could not be neglected as it is noticed in chemical *** rate of some Arrhenius-compliant reactions is retarded by increasing the temperature and is therefore associated with negative activation energies,such as exothermic binding of urea or *** some processes,the temperature dependence of the pressure-induced unfolding and the urea-induced unfolding of proteins at ambient pressure give negative activation *** present mathematical model is solved with successive linearization method(a spectral technique).A comparison of results is made for negative and positive values of activation *** from it,the quadratic multiple regression model is discussed briefly and explained with bar *** is observed that with rise in unsteadiness parameter from 0 to 1(taking positive activation energy),skin friction and Sherwood number are increased by 9.36%and 19%respectively,and Nusselt number is decreased by 26%.However,for negative activation energy,9.36%and 112%enhancement is observed in skin friction and Sherwood number,respectively.

We quantified species diversity of birds in mangroves at Kundapura from April-2010 to March-2013. We recorded 79 species of 36 families and 14 orders. Of these 71% are resident species, 22% are residential migrants and 8% are migratory. One endangered species, three near threatened species, and a few occasional visitors were re-corded. Species diversity and abundance of birds were greater during from October through May as there was availability of food, increased vegetation and the arrival of migratory birds. Minimum diversity was recorded from June through September owing to heavy rains, increased flow of water, limited availability of food and return of migratory birds.

Polyorganoborosilazane((B[C_(2)H_(4)-Si(CH_(3))NH]_(3))n)was synthesized via monomer route from a single-source precursor and thermolyzed at 1300℃in argon *** as-thermolyzed Si-B-C-N ceramic was characterized using X-ray diffraction(XrD)and raman *** crystallization behavior of silicon carbide in the as-thermolyzed amorphous Si-B-C-N matrix was understood by XrD studies,and the crystallite size calculated using Scherrer equation was found to increase from 2 nm to 8 nm with increase in dwelling ***,raman spectroscopy was used to characterize the free carbon present in the as-thermolyzed *** peak positions,intensities and full width at half maximum(FWHM)of D and g bands in the raman spectra were used to study and understand the structural disorder of the free *** g peak shift towards 1600 cm-1 indicated the decrease in cluster size of the free *** cluster diameter of the free carbon calculated using TK(Tuinstra and Koenl)equation was found to decrease from 6.2 nm to 5.4 nm with increase in dwelling time,indicating increase in structural disorder.

Ontogenetic aging of tissues and the gradual decrease of adventitious rooting are known challenges for the clonal propagation of woody species,hampering clonal forestry *** study examined possible signatures of tissue rejuvenation/reinvigoration in different propagated materials of Eucalyptus microcorys by analyzing the total protein profile,peroxidase activity,macro-and micronutrient contents,and adventitious rooting of mini *** analyses were performed on *** shoots which were successfully obtained by seminal and grafting propagation,micropropagation with epicormic shoots,and indirect *** four mature trees used in the propagation,tissues from the one with the best propagation results were investigated for signs of tissue rejuvenation and/or *** individuals from each technique were randomly selected and transferred to a semi-hydroponic"channel"*** four weeks in the seedbed,the total protein,peroxidase activity,nutrient content and rooting of the mini cuttings were ***-PAgE enabled the differentiation of leaf samples obtained by grafting from the other propagation techniques,as revealed by two distinct *** obtained by micropropagation with epicormic shoots showed the highest peroxidase activity,while those obtained by seminal propagation and from the selected mature tree showed the lowest peroxidase activity.A portable X-ray fluorescence spectroscope(pXrF)identified adequate nutrient content in most of the nutrients tested in materials obtained by seminal and grafting propagation,and by indirect *** analysis of adventitious rooting showed that the highest rooting percentage was observed in mini cuttings from seminal propagation(75%)followed by indirect organogenesis(35%).Based on principal component analysis,it was concluded that rooting of mini cuttings from both seminal propagation and indirect organogenesis was associated with phosphorous,sulphur,and potassium

Effects of inner sleeves on the inner frictional resistance of open-ended piles driven into sand

In open-ended piles, inner friction is developed between inner pile shaf and the inner soil. Inner frictional resistance depends largely on the degree of soil plugging, which is influenced by many factors including pile diameter, relative density and end conditions of piles. In this paper, effects of inner sleeves on inner frictional resistance are discussed. The experiments were conducted on a medium-dense sandy ground using laboratory-scale piles. It was observed that the piles penetrated under partially-plugged or unplugged state. The results suggest that inner fiictional resistance, Qin increases with sleeve height, l linearly and requires 2D （D is pile outer diameter） of l to produce a large as 50% of Qt by Qin （Qt is total resistance）. The results also indicate that bearing capacity increases with wall thickness at the pile tip, which can be attributed to the increase in annular area. The results also indicate that soil plug height is independent of sleeve height. The results also reveal that the penetration of straight piles is closer to unplugged state than the sleeved piles. The results of incremental filling ratio and plug length ratio also indicate that the degree of soil plugging is affected by the sleeve height.

Unexpected sudden death in pregnancy–arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia:a case report

Cardiovascular disease is an important contributor to maternal mortality in both developing and developed *** search for cardiac disease is usually not performed during pregnancy despite hypertensive disease,undiagnosed pulmonary hypertension and cardiomyopathies being recognized as major health problems in these *** article reported a 27-year-old female who was normal on clinical examination and basic investigations,and on an antenatal visit was found collapsed in the toilet of her house and was pronounced dead on admission to *** was found to be in the 11th week of pregnancy and had no history of significant illness in the *** did not reveal any obvious macroscopic pathology except for a significant amount of epicardial fat infiltrating into myocardium of right *** histopathological examination of the heart demonstrated fibro-fatty replacement of the heart *** cause of death was arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia(ArVC/D).ArVC/D can cause unexpected sudden death during ***,it is recommended that an ECg and echocardiogram be included as screening tests during antenatal follow-up to minimize preventable cardiac deaths like ArVC/D.
