We report on the magnetohydrodynamic.impact on the axisymmetric flow of Al_(2)O_(3)/cu nanoparticles suspended in H_(2)O past a stretched/shrinked *** the use of partial differential equations and the corresponding thermophysical characteristics of nanoparticles,the physical flow process is *** resultant nonlinear system of partial differential equations is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations using the suitable similarity *** transformed differential equations are solved *** of the magnetic parameter,solid volume frac.ion and stretc.ing/shrinking parameter on momentum and temperature distribution have been analyzed and interpreted *** skin fric.ion and Nusselt number were also *** addition,existence of dual solution was deduced for the shrinking sheet and unique solution for the stretc.ing ***,Al_(2)O_(3)/H_(2)O nanofluid flow has better thermal conduc.ivity on comparing with cu/H_(2)O ***,it was found that the first solutions of the stream are stable and physically realizable,whereas those of the second ones are unstable.

The hydrothermal synthesis of in_(2)O_(3)and ceO_(2)–in_(2)O_(3)is investigated as well as the properties of sensor layers based on these *** the synthesis of in_(2)O_(3),intermediate products in(OH)_(3)and inOOH are formed,which are the precursors of stable cubic(c.in_(2)O_(3))and metastable rhombohedral(rh-in_(2)O_(3))phases,respec.ively.A transition from c.in_(2)O_(3)to rh-in_(2)O_(3)is observed with the addition of ceO_(2).The introduc.ion of cerium into rh-in_(2)O_(3)results in a decrease in the sensor response to hydrogen,while it increases in composites based on c.in_(2)O_(3).The data on the sensor ac.ivity of the composites correlate with XPS results in which ceO_(2)causes a decrease in the concentrations of chemisorbed oxygen and oxygen vacancies in rh-in_(2)O_(3).The reverse situation is observed in composites based on c.in_(2)O_(3).compared to in_(2)O_(3)and ceO_(2)–in_(2)O_(3)obtained by other methods,the synthesized composites demonstrate maximum response to H_(2)at low temperatures by 70–100℃,and have short response time(0.2–0.5 s),short recovery time(6–7 s),and long-term stability.A model is proposed for the dependence of sensitivity on the direc.ion of electron transfer between in_(2)O_(3)and ceO_(2).

Melt extrusion-based additive manufacturing(ME-AM)is a promising technique to fabricate porous scaffolds for tissue engi-neering ***,most synthetic semicrystalline polymers do not possess the intrinsic biological ac.ivity required to control cell *** of biomolecules on polymeric surfaces of AM scaffolds enhances the bioac.ivity of a construct;however,there are limited strategies available to control the surface ***,we report a strategy to tune the surface density of bioac.ive groups by blending a low molecular weight poly(ε-caprolactone)5k(PcL5k)containing orthogonally reac.ive azide groups with an unfunc.ionalized high molecular weight PcL75k at different *** porous three-dimensional(3D)scaf-folds were then fabricated using a high weight percentage(75 wt.%)of the low molecular weight PcL *** a proof-of-concept test,we prepared films of three different mass ratios of low and high molecular weight polymers with a thermopress and reacted with an alkynated fluorescent model compound on the surface,yielding a density of 201-561 pmol/cm^(2).Subsequently,a bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP-2)-derived peptide was grafted onto the films comprising different blend compositions,and the effect of peptide surface density on the osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stromal cells(hMScs)was *** two weeks of culturing in a basic medium,cells expressed higher levels of BMP receptor ii(BMPRii)on films with the conjugated *** addition,we found that alkaline phosphatase ac.ivity was only significantly enhanced on films contain-ing the highest peptide density(i.e.,561 pmol/cm^(2)),indicating the importance of the surface *** together,these results emphasize that the density of surface peptides on cell differentiation must be considered at the cell-material ***,we have presented a viable strategy for ME-AM community that desires to tune the bulk and surface func.ionality via blending of(m

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar craton including the oldest(~3.3 ga)Sargur group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,caO,strongly enriched cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),Sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(Ucc).The Ucc normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/Sm)Ucc=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(gd/Yb)_(Ucc)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** Sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the Sargur group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar craton.

invariant natural killer T(iNKT)cells are part of the family of unconventional T cells,and they recognize glycolipid antigens presented on the MHc class i like molecule cD1^([1]).in humans there are five cD1 molecules named cD1a to cD1e,whereas mice use only cD1d for lipid ***,iNKT cells can elicit both cytotoxicity similarly to conventional cD8 T cells and secrete cytokines that influence the adaptive immune response including providing direct T cell help to B cells^([2]).in the context of tumors,they can use both release of granzyme B and use Fas-mediated mechanisms for killing of tumor *** iNKT cells use a restricted TcR repertoire and cD1 molecules are non-heterogenous the risk of graft vs host disease is limited and thus these T cells have been an attrac.ive option for off the shelf immunotherapy to treat cancer^([3]).

Purpose:it is aimed to assess whether school uniforms are associated with population-level gender inequalities in physical ac.ivity,and whether associations differ by school level,country/region income,and assessment ***:An ecological study design was *** collected data about global uniform prac.ices using an online *** searched for country/region-level estimates of school-aged youth meeting physical ac.ivity guidelines from international surveillance *** selec.ion was conducted in duplicate using a systematic process,and a random sample of all data was checked to ensure extrac.ion and pooling processes were *** calculated absolute and relative gender inequalities in physical ac.ivity for each *** regression examined associations between country/region-level uniform prac.ices(binary yes/no exposure variable) and country/region-level gender inequalities in physical ac.ivity guideline compliance(absolute and relative inequalities).We investigated moderation by school level,stratified analyses by income group,and repeated primary analyses using device-measured ***:Pooling data from 135 countries/regions(n=1,089,852),we found no association between population-level uniform prac.ices and gender inequalities in physical ac.ivity across all ages(absolute:β=-0.2;95% confidence interval(95%ci):-1.7 to 1.3,p=0.74;relative:β=0.1;95%ci:-0.1 to 0.2,p=0.51).Subgroup analysis suggested a positive association in primary school settings(absolute:β=4.3;95%ci:-0.0 to 8.6,p=0.05).Among high-income countries,absolute inequalities were significantly greater in countries/regions with uniform prac.ices(N=37) compared to those without(N=48)(9.1(SD=3.6) vs.7.8 percentage points(SD=4.3)).Repeating analyses using device-measured data(n=32,130;N=24) did not alter our primary *** initial desc.iptive statistics,we found that in countries/regions where a maj ority of schools(>50%) reportedly use uniforms,there was lower compli

The main objec.ive of this work was to modify the microstructure and enhance the tribological properties of a new Zn-4Si al-loy through a high solidification cooling rate(ScR).According to the results,by increasing the ScR from 2.0 to 59.5℃/s the average size of primary Si particles and that of the grains reduced from 76.1 and 3780μm to less than about 14.6 and 460μm,***-ing the ScR also enhanced the microstructural homogeneity,decreased the porosity content(by 50%),and increased the matrix hardness(by 36%).These microstructural changes enhanced the tribological *** instance,under the applied pressure of 0.5 MPa,an in-crease in the ScR from 2.0 to 59.5℃/s decreased the wear rate and the average fric.ion coefficient of the alloy by 57%and 23%,*** wear mechanism was also changed from the severe delamination,adhesion,and abrasion in the slowly-cooled alloy to the mild tribolayer delamination/abrasion in the high-cooling-rate-solidified sample.

in this paper,a detailed model of a photovoltaic(PV)panel is used to study the accumulation of dust on solar *** presence of dust diminishes the incident light intensity penetrating the panel’s cover glass,as it increases the reflec.ion of light by *** phenomenon,commonly known as the“soiling effect”,presents a significant challenge to PV systems on a global *** basic models of the equivalent circ.its of a solar cell can be found,namely the single-diode model and the two-diode *** limitation of efficiency data in manufacturers’datasheets has encouraged us to develop an equivalent electrical model that is efficient under dust conditions,integrated with optical transmittance considerations to investigate the soiling *** proposed approach is based on the use of experimental current-voltage(i-V)characteristics with simulated data using MATLAB/*** research outcomes underscores the feasibility of accurately quantifying the reduc.ion in energy produc.ion resulting from soiling by assessing the optical transmittance of accumulated dust on the surface of PV glass.
