The present work describes a facile,one-pot three component synthesis of a series of 3-[（4,5-diphenyl-2-substituted aryl/heteryl）-1H-imidazol-1-yl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid derivatives M（1-15）.Benzil,aromatic aldehydes and 3-amino-l,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid was refluxed in ethanol using cerric ammonium nitrate（CAN） as a catalyst to give the title compounds in good *** compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antifungal and antibacterial *** M1,M9,and M15 were found to be equipotent against Candida albicans when compared with *** M2.M5,and M14 showed higher activity against Streptococcus *** coli and Streptococcus pyogenes,respectively,compared with *** study of the newly synthesized compounds was performed,and the results showed good binding mode in the active sites of C albicans enzyme cytochrome P450 lanosterol 14α-*** results of in vitro antifungal activity and docking study showed that synthesized compounds had potential antifungal activity and can be further optimized and developed as a lead compound.

Background Heme oxygenase-1 （HO-1） is an enzyme, which catabolizes heme into carbon monoxide, biliverdin and free iron. The induction of this enzyme is an important cytoprotective mechanism, which occurs as an adaptive and beneficial response to a wide variety of oxidant stimuli. HO-1 inducibility is mainly modulated by a （gT）n polymorphism in the promoter region, and has been shown that short （S） repeats are associated with greater up-regulation of HO-1, compared with long （L） repeats. Methods In the present study, 250 healthy greek individuals have been screened in order to estimate the frequencies of （gT）n alleles in the HO-1 gene. Results Nineteen different alleles, ranging from 17 to 39 repeats, with （gT）23 and （gT）3obeing the most common ones, were identified. Conclusion The possible role of this polymorphism in disease states is discussed.

It is well known the ability of primary and secondary nitroalkanes to generate carbanions (under basic conditions) strongly stabilized by the electron-withdrawing effect of the nitro group[1-4]. Thus, the main use of nitroalkanes is devoted to the generation of new carbon-carbon bonds through two principal approaches (Scheme 1): (i) reaction with carbonyl derivatives (nitroaldol-Henry-reaction), and (ii) Michael addition to electron poor alkenes.

A series of some new 2-imino-5-[（Z）-1-（4-methylphenyl）methylidene]-3-[5-（2-oxo-2H-3-chromenyl）-1,3-oxazol-2-yl]-1,3- thiazolan-4-ones 5a-j has been synthesized and assayed for their antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria *** subtilis（ATCC 6633）,Staphylococcus aureus（ATCC 6538p） and Micrococcus luteus（IFC 12708）,and gram-negative bacteria viz. Proteus vulgaris（ATCC 3851）.Salmonella typhimurium（ATCC 14028） and Escherichia coli（ATCC 25922）.Among the screened compounds,5d,5e,5f,5g,and 5j exhibited potent inhibitory activity compared to standard drug,and emerged as potential molecules for further development.

We have successfully grown an arsenopyrite marcasite type RhSb2 single crystal, and systematically investigated its crystal structure, electrical transport, magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and thermodynamic properties. We found that the temperature-dependent resistivity exhibits a bad metal behavior with a board peak around 200 K. The magnetic susceptibility of RhSb2 shows diamagnetism from 300 K to 2 K. The low-temperature specific heat shows a metallic behavior with a quite small electronic specific-heat coefficient. No phase transition is observed in both specific heat and magnetic susceptibility data. The Hall resistivity measurements show that the conduction carriers are dominated by electrons with ne = 8.62 × 10^(18) cm^(-3) at 2 K, and the electron carrier density increases rapidly above 200 K without change sign. Combining with ab-initio band structure calculations, we showed that the unusual peak around 200 K in resistivity is related to the distinct electronic structure of RhSb_2. In addition, a large thermopower S(T) about -140 μV/K is observed around 200 K, which might be useful for future thermoelectric applications.

In this paper, we experimentally investigate the near-field flow characteristics of turbulent free jets respectively issued from circular, triangular, diamond, rectangular, and notched-rectangular orifice plates into air surroundings. All the orifice plates have identical opening areas or equivalent diameters（De） and their aspect ratios（AR） range from 1 to 6.5. Planar particle image velocimetry（PIV） is used to measure the velocity field at the same Reynolds number of Re = 5 × 10^4,where Re = Ue De/ν with Ue being the exit bulk velocity and ν the kinematic viscosity of fluid. The mean and turbulent velocity fields of all the five jets are compared in detail. Results show that the noncircular jets can enhance the entrainment rate, reflected by the higher acceleration rates of mean velocity decay and spread, shorten the length of the unmixed core,expedite the increase of turbulent intensity compared with the circular counterpart shortened unmixed core, and increase turbulent intensity comparing to the circular counterpart. Among the five jets, the rectangular jet（AR = 6.5） produces the greatest decay rate of the near-field mean velocity, postpones the position at which the 鈥榓xis-switching鈥檖henomenon occurs. This supports that axis switching phenomenon strongly depends on jet initial conditions. In addition, the hump in the centerline variation of the turbulence intensity is observed in the rectangular and triangular jets, but not in the circular jet, nor in diamond jet nor in notched-rectangular jet.

采用自行创制的成核晶化隔离法将Ni2 + 引入层状双金属复合氢氧化物 (LDHs)的层板 ,首次合成得到了层板含Ni2 +的三元金属铜镍铬的碳酸根型LDHs (CuNiCr LDHs) .通过X射线衍射 (XRD)、红外光谱 (FT IR)、透射电镜 (TEM)、热重及微商热重分析 (Tg DTg)、等离子电感偶合元素分析 (ICP)和激光粒度分析等手段对产物的晶体结构特征进行了研究 ,结果表明 :当反应Cu2 + /Ni2 + /Cr3 + 投料摩尔比介于 1∶2∶1～ 1∶3∶1之间 ,晶化温度为 180℃和晶化时间大于 4h时 ,利用成核晶化隔离法可以合成得到晶型规整的CuNiCr LDHs ;研究同时发现 ,层板引入Ni2 + 后可以削弱Cu2 + 的Jahn Teller效应对层板对称性的影响 ,提高了LDHs的晶型完整性和结构稳定性 .

Post-instability arthropathy may commonly develop in high-risk patients with a history of recurrent glenohumeral instability,both with and without surgical *** related to anterior shoulder instability,the incidence and rates of arthritic progression may vary *** arthritic changes may be present in up to two-thirds of patients after primary Bankart repair and 30%after Latarjet procedure,with increasing rates associated with recurrent dislocation history,prominent implant position,non-anatomic reconstruction,and/or lateralized bone graft ***,the presence radiographic arthrosis does not predict poor patient-reported *** exhausting conservative measures,both joint-preserving and arthroplasty surgical options may be considered depending on a combination of patient-specific and anatomic *** procedures are optimally indicated for individuals with focal disease and may yield superior symptomatic relief when combined with treatment of combined shoulder *** more advanced secondary arthropathy,total shoulder arthroplasty remains the most reliable option,although the clinical outcomes,wear characteristics,and implant survivorship remains a concern among active,young patients.
