Signal to noise ratio in ultrasound medical images captured through the digital camera is poorer,resulting in an inaccurate *** a result,it needs an efﬁcient despeckling method for ultrasound images in clinical practice and *** article proposes a novel adaptive fuzzyﬁlter based on the direc-tionality and translation invariant property of the Non-Sub sampled Contour-let Transform(NSCT).Since speckle-noise causes fuzziness in ultrasound images,fuzzy logic may be a straightforward technique to derive the output from the noisy ***ﬁltering method comprises detection andﬁltering ***,image regions classify at the detection stage by applying fuzzy inference to the directional difference obtained from the NSCT noisy ***,the system adaptively selects the better-suitedﬁlter for the speciﬁc image region,resulting in signiﬁcant speckle noise suppression and retention of detailed *** suggested approach uses a weighted averageﬁlter to distinguish between noise and edges at theﬁltering *** addition,we apply a structural similarity mea-sure as a tuning parameter depending on the kind of noise in the ultrasound *** proposed methodology shows that the proposed fuzzy adaptiveﬁlter effectively suppresses speckle noise while preserving edges and image detailed structures compared to existing approaches.

Bismuth-based Sillen-Aurivillius compounds are being explored as efficient photocatalyst materials for the degradation of organic pollutants due to their unique layered structure that favours effective separation of electron-hole pairs. In this work, we synthesized Sillen-Aurivillius-related Bi2YO4Cl with the bandgap of 2.5 eV by a simple solid-state reaction and sensitized with rhodium nickel (RhNi) nanoparticles (NPs) to form the RhNi/Bi2YO4Cl heterostructure. Photocatalytic activities of BiOCl, Bi2YO4Cl and the RhNi/Bi2YO4Cl heterostructure were examined for the degradation of rhodamine- 6g under visible-light illumination. Results demonstrated that the photocatalytic dye degradation efficiency of RhNi/Bi2YO4Cl heterostructures is higher than those of BiOCl and Bi2YO4Cl, attributed to the synergistic molecular-scale alloying effect of bimetallic RhNi NPs. The plausible mechanism for the degradation of rhodamine-6g and the effective electron-hole pair utilization mechanism were discussed.

TRS Scheduling for Improved QoS Performance in Cloud System

Numerous methods are analysed in detail to improve task schedulingand data security performance in the cloud environment. The methodsinvolve scheduling according to the factors like makespan, waiting time,cost, deadline, and popularity. However, the methods are inappropriate forachieving higher scheduling performance. Regarding data security, existingmethods use various encryption schemes but introduce significant serviceinterruption. This article sketches a practical Real-time Application CentricTRS (Throughput-Resource utilization–Success) Scheduling with Data Security(RATRSDS) model by considering all these issues in task scheduling anddata security. The method identifies the required resource and their claim timeby receiving the service requests. Further, for the list of resources as services,the method computes throughput support (Thrs) according to the number ofstatements executed and the complete statements of the service. Similarly, themethod computes Resource utilization support (Ruts) according to the idletime on any duty cycle and total servicing time. Also, the method computesthe value of Success support (Sus) according to the number of completions forthe number of allocations. The method estimates the TRS score (ThroughputResource utilization Success) for different resources using all these supportmeasures. According to the value of the TRS score, the services are rankedand scheduled. On the other side, based on the requirement of service requests,the method computes Requirement Support (RS). The selection of service isperformed and allocated. Similarly, choosing the route according to the RouteSupport Measure (RSM) enforced route security. Finally, data security hasgets implemented with a service-based encryption technique. The RATRSDSscheme has claimed higher performance in data security and scheduling.

Copy-Move Forgery Verification in Images Using Local Feature Extractors and Optimized Classifiers

Passive image forgery detection methods that identify forgeries without prior knowledge have become a key research *** copy-move forgery,the assailant intends to hide a portion of an image by pasting other portions of the same *** detection of such manipulations in images has great demand in legal evidence,forensic investigation,and many other *** paper aims to present copy-move forgery detection algorithms with the help of advanced feature descriptors,such as local ternary pattern,local phase quantization,local gabor binary pattern histogram sequence,Weber local descriptor,and local monotonic pattern,and classifiers such as optimized support vector machine and optimized *** proposed algorithms can classify an image efficiently as either copy-move forged or authenticated,even if the test image is subjected to attacks such as JPEg compression,scaling,rotation,and brightness ***,CASIA,and MICC datasets and a combination of CoMoFoD and CASIA datasets images are used to quantify the performance of the proposed *** proposed algorithms are more efficient than state-of-the-art algorithms even though the suspected image is post-processed.

Electrodeposition of aluminium and aluminium-copper alloys from a room temperature ionic liquid electrolyte containing aluminium chloride and triethylamine hydrochloride

The electrodeposition of A1 and A1-Cu binary alloys on to gold substrates from a room temperature ionic liquid electrolyte containing A1C13-EtaNHC1 was studied. The electrochemical behavior of the electrolyte and the mechanism of deposition were investigated through cyclic voltammetry （CV）, and the properties of deposits obtained were assessed by scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （SEM-EDS） and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. A1 of 70μm in thickness and an A1-Cu alloy of 30μm in thickness with 8at% copper were deposited from the electrolyte. SEM images of the deposits indicate that the A1 deposit was smooth and uniform, whereas the Al-Cu deposit was nodular. The average crystalline size, as determined by XRD patterns, was found to be （30±5） and （29±5） nm, respectively, for A1 and A1-Cu alloys. Potentiodynamic polarization （Tafel plots） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic （EIS） measurements showed that Al-Cu alloys are more corrosion resistant than Al.

The use of feld programmable gate array(FPgA)in direct torque control of induction motor

In this paper, the feasibility of embedding the direct torque control （DTC） of an induction machine into field programmable gate arrays （FPgA） is investigated. DTC of an induction machine is simulated in a MATLAB/Simulink environment using a Xilinx system generator. The resulting design has a flexible and modular structure where the designer can customize the hardware blocks by changing the number of inputs, outputs, and algorithm when it is compared to the designs implemented using classical microcontrollers and digital signal processors. With its flexibility, other control algorithms can easily be programmed and embedded into the FPgA. The above system has been implemented on Xilinx Spartan 3A DSP FPgA controller. Simulation and experimentation have been performed to prove the validity of the proposed methodology.

Optimizing machining parameters of wire-EDM process to cut Al7075/SiCp composites using an integrated statistical approach

Metal matrix composites （MMCs） as advanced materials, while producing the components with high dimensional accuracy and intricate shapes, are more complex and cost effective for machining than conventional alloys. It is due to the presence of discontinuously distributed hard ceramic with the MMCs and involvement of a large number of machining control variables. However, determination of optimal machining conditions helps the process engineer to make the process efficient and effec- tive. In the present investigation a novel hybrid multi-response optimization approach is proposed to derive the economic machining conditions for MMCs. This hybrid approach integrates the concepts of grey relational analysis （gRA）, principal component analysis （PCA） and Taguchi method （TM） to derive the optimal machining conditions. The machining experiments are planned to machine A17075/SiCp MMCs using wire-electrical discharge machining （WEDM） process. SiC particulate size and its weight percentage are explicitly considered here as the process variables along with the WEDM input variables. The derived optimal process responses are confirmed by the experimental validation tests and the results show satisfactory. The practical possibility of the derived optimal machining conditions is also analyzed and presented using scanning electron microscope （SEM） examinations. According to the growing industrial need of making high performance, low cost components, this investigation provides a simple and sequential approach to enhance the WEDM performance while machining MMCs.

During the modernization or rehabilitation activity,the demolished structural waste causes large soil pollution and unavailability of natural aggregate is the big concern for the construction ***,this manuscript deals with the Composite Steel Circular Column(CSCC)with Recycled Aggregate concrete(RAC)as infill is partly used,with the replacement of 25%and 50%in M30 grade of *** internal reinforcement steel is fully replaced by rolled steel tubes(circular and square)with varied thickness,ISA-unequal *** 14 specimens are cast and examined under axial load for analysis of the deflection characteristics,the load-bearing capacity along with its buckling *** experimental values are estimated through LVDT(linear variable differential transducer)at *** curve of load-deflection is drawn with the load *** the date interpretation,it is found column made of 50%-RAC has more than 25%-RAC.

The wide use of manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))as an electrode in all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitors(ASCs)remains challenging because of its low electrical *** complication can be circumvented by introducing trivalent gadolinium(gd)ions into the MnO_(2).Herein,we describe the successful hydrothermal synthesis of crystalline gd-doped MnO_(2) nanorods with Ni(OH)_(2) nanosheets as cathode,which we combined with Fe_(3)O_(4)/gO nanospheres as anode for all-solid-state *** tests dem on strate that gd dopi ng sign ifica ntly affected the electrochemical activities of the MnO_(2),which was further enhanced by introducing Ni(OH)_(2).The gdMnO_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2) electrode offers sufficient surface electrochemical activity and exhibits excellent specific capacity of 121.8 mA h g^(-1),at 1A g^(-1),appealing rate performance,and ultralong lifetime stability(99.3%retention after 10,000 discharge tests).Furthermore,the gdMnO_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2)//PVA/KOH//Fe_(3)O_(4)/gO solid-state ASC device offers an impressive specific energy density(60.25 W h kg^(-1))at a high power density(2332 W kg^(-1)).This investigation thus shows its large potential in developing novel approaches to energy storage devices.

Performance and Emission Characteristics of a CRDI Diesel Engine Fuelled by SiO_(2) Nanoparticle-Waste Fat Biodiesel Blends

This study investigates the use of waste fat biodiesel(WFB)from the leather industry as a substitute for diesel ***,it examines the diesel engine performance of WFB,a blend of WFB and diesel(B50),and different blends of WFB and silicon dioxide(SiO_(2))nanoparticles(B50SiO_(2)40,B50SiO_(2)80,and B50SiO_(2)120μg/g).The results indicate that the B50SiO_(2)120 blend increases brake thermal efficiency by 10.03%compared to pure biodiesel but falls 1.93%short of neat ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 mixture reduces smoke,hydrocarbon,and carbon monoxide emissions by 31.87%,34.14%,and 43.97%respectively,compared to ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 blend shows a 4.91%increase in nitrogen oxide emissions compared to diesel.
