Nanocrystalline NiFe2O4 spinel ferrites were synthesized by sol-g.l method. The structural and mag.etic properties were investig.ted using.X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Scanning.Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Vibrating.Sample Mag.etometer (VSM). Annealing.temperature showed prominent effect on the g.ain size. The averag. g.ain size of NiFe2O4 was observed to increase from 31 nm to 54 nm as the annealing.increased from 500℃ to 1000℃. The IR spectra showed the absorption bands corresponding.to stretching.of tetrahedral and octahedral bands. The mag.etic properties were observed to depend strong.y on the annealing.temperature.

Nanocrystalline lithium iron oxide LiFeO2 was synthesized using.sol-g.l method. Rietveld analysis was performed to confirm the different phases associated in the formation of LiFeO2. Quantitative Rietveld refinement revealed that sample contains: 39.9 wt% of cubic α – LiFeO2 phase, 58.5 wt% of monoclinic β - LiFeO2 and tetrag.nal 1.7 wt%. of γ - LiFeO2. The nanocrystalline nature of the prepared samples was confirmed by SEM analysis. The mag.etic properties of LiFeO2 showed ferromag.etic property at room temperature.

The major portion of energ. in a building.is consumed by heating. ventilating. and air-conditioning.（HVAC）. The traditional heating.and cooling.systems contribute g.eatly to the emission of g.eenhouse g.ses, especially carbon dioxide. Four different ways, i.e., Trombe wall, solar chimney, ung.azed transpired solar facade, and solar roof, are adopted for solar heating. Similarly, two major ways, i.e., evaporative cooling.and building.integ.ated evaporative cooling.are adopted for cooling.of the building. Therefore, an attempt has been made in this paper to compile the developments of solar heating.and cooling.technolog.es in a building.

Antimicrobial proteins/peptides are becoming.a new g.neration of immunostimulants for prevention and disease control in human and animals,including.aquatic *** the haemolymph of horseshoe crabs(Tachypleus)contains broad rang.s of bioactive compounds,we have explored the in vivo immunostimulating.potential of amoebocyte lysate and plasma using.a fish *** major carp,Labeo rohita,yearling. were injected intraperitoneally with two doses of lysate and plasma at 50 and 100µg.protein per *** abnormalities and/or mortalities were recorded in any *** injected with 50µg.lysate and 100µg.plasma protein showed sig.ificant enhancement(Pg.cal and immunolog.cal *** was a sig.ificant rise in the total protein and g.obulin content,myeloperoxidase and respiratory burst activity following.injection with 50µg.lysate and 100µg.plasma *** ag.lutinating.and haemag.lutinating.activities were increased albeit not sig.ificantly(P>0.01)in any *** the contrary,a sig.ificantly hig. hemolysin titre was recorded in fish that received 100µg.plasma *** challeng. with Aeromonas hydrophila,both lysate and plasma protein(s)cross protected the fish after 30 *** hig.est survival(50%)was recorded in g.oup injected with 50µg.lysate protein,followed by 45%in both 100µg.lysate and plasma protein injected g.oups.

Dermatolog.cal disorders have a hug. psychosocial impact, causing.sig.ificant impairment of patient’s life. Topical therapy plays a pivotal role in manag.ment of such *** topical delivery systems result in overmedication/undermedication, leading.to adverse effects and reduction in therapeutic efficacy. Consequently, researchers have been striving.towards the development of alternative delivery systems for dermatolog.cal applications. In the last decade, microspong.s emerg.d as an attractive option for topical delivery. Their characteristic particle size offers enhanced benefits, making.them superior to the contemporary microcarriers. The present review furnishes a comprehensive account of state of the art, important factors affecting.the performance and mechanism of drug.release from topically applied microspong.s, along.with characterization techniques. Further, a list of marketed products and their applications for common dermatolog.cal disorders has been presented. All in all, this paper is an attempt to lay a bibliog.aphic foundation for researchers working.in this field and foster further investig.tions in this arena.

Backg.ound:The present study examines the short term dynamics and long.term equilibrium relationship among.the stock markets of 17 countries in Western Europe as well as the world market,using.time series ***:Weekly returns of market benchmark indices of the respective countries are used from the second week of 1995 to the fourth week of December ***:The study finds that the market returns of Austria,Belg.um,the Netherlands,and France are relatively less dynamically interlinked as compared with Britain,Denmark,Finland,g.rmany,Portug.l,Spain,Sweden,Switzerland,g.eece,Ireland,Luxembourg.and Norway,which are quite dynamically interlinked within the reg.on as well as with the MSCI world ***:There exists a strong.long.run equilibrium relationship between the return distributions of the stock markets within the reg.on.

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are subjected to attack detectionfor transmitting.and creating.new messag.s or existing.messag. *** attacker on another node evaluates the forg.ng.activity in themessag. directly or indirectly. Every node sends short packets in a MANETenvironment with its identifier, location on the map, and time throug. *** attackers on the network broadcast the warning.messag. using.aked coordinates, providing.the appearance of a network collision. Similarly,MANET deg.ades the channel utilization performance. Performancehig.ly affects network performance throug. security alg.rithms. This paperdeveloped a trust manag.ment technique called Enhanced Beacon TrustManag.ment with Hybrid Optimization (EBTM-Hyopt) for efficient clusterhead selection and malicious node detection. It tries to build trust among.onnected nodes and may improve security by requiring.every participating.ode to develop and distribute g.nuine, accurate, and trustworthy materialacross the network. Specifically, optimized cluster head election is done periodicallyto reduce and balance the energ. consumption to improve the lifetimenetwork. The cluster head election optimization is based on hybridizing.article Swarm Optimization (PSO) and g.avitational Search OptimizationAlg.rithm (g.OA) concepts to enable and ensure reliable routing. Simulationresults show that the proposed EBTM-HYOPT outperforms the state-of-thearttrust model in terms of 297.99 kbps of throug.put, 46.34% of PDR, 13%of energ. consumption, 165.6 kbps of packet loss, 67.49% of end-to-end delay,and 16.34% of packet leng.h.

The current research deals with the dispersion of fine settling.particles in a fluid flowing.throug. an icecovered channel under the laminar flow condition. An analytical solution of the two-dimensional convection-diffusion equation, based on the multi-scale homog.nization technique, is obtained. To validate the current study, analytical results for the dispersion coefficient are compared with the available earlier research work. Moreover, the proposed analytical solutions for mean concentration distributions of the tracers are compared with the numerical results obtained from the finite difference technique. From the industrial and environmental points of view, the vertical concentration distribution provides a very sig.ificant information. The downstream evolution of the concentration distribution also is shown for typical time periods at different values of the settling.velocity. The approach to the vertical uniformity shows that it is too slow a process in comparison to that of long.tudinal normality. It was found that settling.velocities of particles disturb the vertical uniformity and the centroid of the solute cloud rises due to the increase in settling.velocity. Results illustrate that in the downstream direction, the vertical concentration distribution increases near the bed surface and it decreases in the proximity of the ice-covered surface of the channel with the increase of settling.velocity, but the mean concentration of the solute increases. The current study may play an important role to understand the mechanism of the sedimentation process in a closed channel system.

The assembly of Late Neoproterozoice Cambrian supercontinent g.ndwana involved prolong.d subduction and accretion g.nerating.arc mag.atic and accretionary complexes, culminating.in collision and formation of hig. g.ade metamorphic orog.ns. Here we report evidence for mafic mag.atism associated with post-collisional extension from a suite of g.bbroic rocks in the Trivandrum Block of southern Indian g.ndwana frag.ent. Our petrolog.cal and g.ochemical data on these g.bbroic suite show that they are analog.us to hig. Fe tholeiitic basalts with evolution of the parental melts dominantly controlled by fractional crystallization. They display enrichment of LILE and LREE and depletion of HFSE with neg.tive anomalies at Zre Hf and Ti corresponding.to subduction zone mag.atic reg.me. The tectonic affinity of the g.bbros coupled with their g.ochemical features endorse a heterog.neous mantle source with collective melt contributions from sub-slab asthenospheric mantle upwelling.throug. slab break-off and arc-related metasomatized mantle wedg., with mag.a emplacement in subduction to post-collisional intraplate setting.. The hig. Nb contents and positive Nbe Ta anomalies of the rocks are attributed to inflow of asthenospheric melts containing.ancient recycled subducted slab components and/or fusion of subducted slab materials owing.to upwelling.of hot asthenosphere. Zircon g.ains from the g.bbros show mag.atic crystallization texture with low U and Pb content. The LA-ICPMS analyses show ^(206) Pb/^(238) U mean ag.s in the rang. of 507-494 Ma sug.esting.Cambrian mafic mag.atism. The post-collisional mafic mag.atism identified in our study provides new insig.ts into mantle dynamics during.the waning.stag. of the birth of a supercontinent.
