Horizontal well-stimulation is the key to unconventional resource exploration and *** development mode of the well plant helps increase the stimulated reservoir ***,fracture interference between wells reduces the fracturing ***,a 2D hydro-mechanical coupling model describing hydraulic fracture(HF)propagation is established with the extended finite element method,and the effects of several factors on HF propagation during multiple wells fracturing are *** results show that with an increase in elastic modulus,horizontal principal stress difference and injection fluid displacement,the total fracture area and the reservoir stimulation efficiency are both improved in all three fracturing *** a comparison of the three technologies,the method of improved zipper fracturing is proposed,which avoids mutual interference between HFs,and the reservoir stimulation effect is improved *** study provides guidance for optimizing the fracturing technology of multiple horizontal wells.

The topological pumping has been instrumental in advancing our understanding of topological phase transitions in various physical systems,which can be extended to uncover intriguing higher-order topological phases in the lower-dimensional ***,we propose a theoretical exploration of topological dipole pumping on an acoustic square superlattice by cyclically modulating intracell couplings,which shares the topological nature of an extended three-dimensional system with chiral hinge *** the multipole chiral numbers,we characterize the higher-order topological phases that arise during the *** evolution of topological phase transitions is verified by numerical simulations and shows corner states are transferred across the *** findings can inspire the construction of chiral hinge states in artificial crystals,opening up new possibilities for the design of devices allowing the unidirectional propagation of sound.

Market participants can only bid with lagged information disclosure under the existing market mechanism,which can lead to information asymmetry and irrational market behavior,thus influencing market *** promote rational bidding behavior of market participants and improve market efficiency,a novel electricity market mechanism based on cloudedge collaboration is proposed in this *** market information,called residual demand curve,is published to market participants in real-time on the cloud side,while participants on the edge side are allowed to adjust their bids according to the information disclosure prior to closure *** proposed mechanism can encourage rational bids in an incentive-compatible way through the process of dynamic equilibrium while protecting participants’*** paper further formulates the mathematical model of market equilibrium to simulate the process of each market participant’s strategic bidding behavior towards equilibrium.A case study based on the IEEE 30-bus system shows the proposed market mechanism can effectively guide bidding behavior of market participants,while condensing exchanged information and protecting privacy of participants.

Cluster-assembled materials have attracted particular attention for their complex hierarchical structures and unique ***,the majority of cluster-based assemblies developed so far are either non-magnetic or only exhibit magnetic ordering with a relatively low Curie temperature,limiting their applications in ***,two-dimensional(2D)cluster-assembled materials with room-temperature magnetism remain highly *** this purpose,based on first principles calculations,we design a series of thermodynamically stable 2D cluster-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)Fe_(n)-(pyz)(n=1-6)by utilizing Fenmetal clusters as nodes and nitrogen-containing pyrazine ligands as organic *** 2D cluster-based MOFs exhibit robust ferrimagnetic ordering due to the strong d-p direct exchange interaction between d-electron spin of Fe_(n)(n=1-6)clusters and charge transfer-induced p-electron spin of pyrazine *** particular,the ferrimagnetic Curie temperatures are well above room temperature(up to 836 K).Additionally,altering the size of Fe_(n)clusters in Fe_(n)-(pyz)(n=1-6)MOFs results in diverse functional spintronic properties,including bipolar magnetic semiconductors,half semiconductors and Dirac half ***,these 2D assembled MOFs possess sizable magnetic anisotropy energies,up to 9.16 me V per formula.

Compared with the traditional industrial nitrogen fixation, electrocatalytic methods, especially those utilizing double-atom catalysts containing nonmetals, can give good consideration to the economy and environmental protection. However, the existing “acceptance-donation” mechanism is only applicable to bimetallic catalysts and nonmetallic double-atom catalysts containing boron atoms. Herein, a novel “capture-activation-recapture” mechanism for metal-nonmetal double-atom catalyst is proposed to solve the problem by adjusting the coordination environments of nonmetallic atoms and utilizing the activation effect of metal atoms on nitrogen. Based on this mechanism, the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) activity of 48 structures is calculated by density functional theory calculation, and four candidates are selected as outstanding electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction catalysts: Si-Fe@Ng (U_(L) = –0.14 V), Si-Co@Ng (U_(L)= –0.15 V), Si-Mo@BP1 (U_(L) = 0 V), and Si-Re@BP1 (U_(L) = –0.02 V). The analyses of electronic properties further confirm “capture-activation-recapture” mechanism and suggest that the difference in valence electron distribution between metal and Si atoms triggers the activation of N≡N bonds. In addition, a machine learning approach is utilized to generate an expression and an intrinsic descriptor that considers the coordination environment to predict the limiting potential. This study offers profound insight into the synergistic mechanism of TM and Si for NRR and guidance in the design of novel double-atom nitrogen fixation catalysts.

The automatic cutting of intersecting pipes is a challenging task in *** improved automation and accuracy,this paper proposes a model-driven path planning approach for the robotic plasma cutting of a branch pipe with a single ***,it summarizes the intersection forms and introduces a dual-pipe intersection *** on this model,the moving three-plane structure(a description unit of the geometric characteristics of the intersecting curve)is constructed,and a geometric model of the branch pipe with a single Y-groove is ***,a novel mathematical model for plasma radius and taper compensation is ***,the compensation model and groove model are integrated by establishing movable ***,to prevent collisions between the plasma torch and workpiece,the torch height is planned and a branch pipe-rotating scheme is *** the established models and moving frames,the planned path description of cutting robot is provided in this novel *** accuracy of the proposed method is verified by simulations and robotic cutting experiments.

Open-shell oligomers and polymers have exhibited intriguing electronic and magnetic properties, making them highly desirable for a wide range of applications, including ambipolar organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), photodetectors, organic thermoelectrics, and spintronics. Although open-shell ground states have been observed in certain small molecules and doped organic semiconductors, the exploration of open-shell ground-state conjugated polymers is still limited, and the strategies for designing these polymers remain obscure. This review aims to briefly introduce the theory and characterization methods of open-shell conjugated polymers, along with an overview of recent progress and applications. The objective is to stimulate further advancements and investigations in this promising area by shedding light on the potential of open-shell conjugated polymers and the challenges that lie ahead.

Single crystal growth, structural and transport properties of bad metal RhSb2

We have successfully grown an arsenopyrite marcasite type RhSb2 single crystal, and systematically investigated its crystal structure, electrical transport, magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and thermodynamic properties. We found that the temperature-dependent resistivity exhibits a bad metal behavior with a board peak around 200 K. The magnetic susceptibility of RhSb2 shows diamagnetism from 300 K to 2 K. The low-temperature specific heat shows a metallic behavior with a quite small electronic specific-heat coefficient. No phase transition is observed in both specific heat and magnetic susceptibility data. The Hall resistivity measurements show that the conduction carriers are dominated by electrons with ne = 8.62 × 10^(18) cm^(-3) at 2 K, and the electron carrier density increases rapidly above 200 K without change sign. Combining with ab-initio band structure calculations, we showed that the unusual peak around 200 K in resistivity is related to the distinct electronic structure of RhSb_2. In addition, a large thermopower S(T) about -140 μV/K is observed around 200 K, which might be useful for future thermoelectric applications.
