For rechargeable wireless sensor networks,limited energy storage capacity,dynamic energy supply,low and dynamic duty cycles cause that it is unpractical to maintain a fixed routing path for packets delivery permanently from a source to destination in a distributed ***,before data delivery,a sensor has to update its waking schedule continuously and share them to its neighbors,which lead to high energy expenditure for reestablishing path links frequently and low efficiency of energy utilization for collecting *** this work,we propose the maximum data generation rate routing protocol based on data flow controlling *** a sensor,it does not share its waking schedule to its neighbors and cache any waking schedules of other ***,the energy consumption for time synchronization,location information and waking schedule shared will be reduced *** saving energy can be used for improving data collection *** shows our scheme is efficient to improve packets generation rate in rechargeable wireless sensor networks.

Background Type 2 diabetes(T2D)is a chronic metabolic disorder with high comorbidity with mental *** genetic links between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)and T2D have yet to be *** We aim to assess shared genetics and potential associations between ADHD and *** We performed genetic correlation,two-sample Mendelian randomisation and polygenic overlap analyses between ADHD and *** genome-wide association study(GWAS)summary results of T2D(80154 cases and 853816 controls),ADHD2019(20183 cases and 35191 controls from the 2019 GWAS ADHD dataset)and ADHD2022(38691 cases and 275986 controls from the 2022 GWAS ADHD dataset)were used for the *** T2D dataset was obtained from the DIAGRAM *** ADHD datasets were obtained from the Psychiatric Genomics *** compared genome-wide association signals to reveal shared genetic variation between T2D and ADHD using the larger ADHD2022 ***,molecular pathways were constructed based on large-scale literature data to understand the connection between ADHD and *** T2D has positive genetic correlations with ADHD2019(rg=0.33)and ADHD2022(rg=0.31).Genetic liability to ADHD2019 was associated with an increased risk for T2D(odds ratio(OR):1.30,p<0.001),while genetic liability to ADHD2022 had a suggestive causal effect on T2D(OR:1.30,p=0.086).Genetic liability to T2D was associated with a higher risk for ADHD2019(OR:1.05,p=0.001)and ADHD2022(OR:1.03,p<0.001).The polygenic overlap analysis showed that most causal variants of T2D are shared with ADHD2022.T2D and ADHD2022 have three overlapping *** pathway analysis suggests that ADHD and T2D could promote the risk of each other through inflammatory *** Our study demonstrates substantial shared genetics and bidirectional causal associations between ADHD and T2D.

Background Previous studies have shown that educational attainment(EA),intelligence and income are key factors associated with mental ***,the direct effects of each factor on major mental disorders are *** We aimed to evaluate the overall and independent causal effects of the three psychosocial factors on common mental *** Using genome-wide association study summary datasets,we performed Mendelian randomisation(MR)and multivariable MR(MVMR)analyses to assess potential associations between the 3 factors(EA,N=766345;household income,N=392422;intelligence,N=146808)and 13 common mental disorders,with sample sizes ranging from 9907 to ***-variance weighting was employed as the main method in the MR *** Our MR analysis showed that(1)higher EA was a protective factor for eight mental disorders but contributed to anorexia nervosa,obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD),bipolar disorder(BD)and autism spectrum disorder(ASD);(2)higher intelligence was a protective factor for five mental disorders but a risk factor for OCD and ASD;(3)higher household income protected against 10 mental disorders but confers risk for anorexia *** MVMR analysis showed that(1)higher EA was a direct protective factor for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)and insomnia but a direct risk factor for schizophrenia,BD and ASD;(2)higher intelligence was a direct protective factor for schizophrenia but a direct risk factor for major depressive disorder(MDD)and ASD;(3)higher income was a direct protective factor for seven mental disorders,including schizophrenia,BD,MDD,ASD,post-traumatic stress disorder,ADHD and anxiety *** Our study reveals that education,intelligence and income intertwine with each *** each factor,its independent effects on mental disorders present a more complex picture than its overall effects.

Improving the cycle stability of FeCl3-graphite intercalation compounds by polar Fe2O3 trapping in lithium-ion batteries

FeCI3-intercalated graphite intercalation compounds (GICs) with high reversible capacity and high volumetric energy density are attractive anode material alternatives of commercial graphite. However, the rapid capacity decay, which was induced by chloride dissolution and shuttling issues, hindered their practical application. To address this problem, here, we introduce flake-like Fe2O3 species with inherently polar surface on the edge of FeCl3 -intercalated GICs through microwave-assisted transformation of a fraction of FeCl3 component. Theoretical simulations and physical/electrochemical studies demonstrate that the introduced Fe2O3 component can afford sufficient polar active sites for chemically bonding the soluble FeCl3 and LiCl species based on the polar-polar interaction mechanism, further inhibiting the outward diffusion of the chlorides and immobilizing them within the GIC material. In a lithium ion cell, the FeCl3 -intercalated GIC with a suitable Fe2O3 content shows remarkably improved cycling stability with a high reversible capacity of 1,041 mAh·g^-1 at a current density of 200 mA·g^-1. Capacity retention of 91 % is achieved at a high current density of 1,000 mA·g^-1 over 300 cycles. This work opens up the new prospect for immobilizing chlorides by introducing inorganic species in GIC for long-cycle electrochemical batteries.

Dear Editor,Major mood disorders,which primarily include bipolar disorder(BD)and major depressive disorder(MDD),are among the most common psychiatric disorders and are recognized as leading causes of morbidity ***,twin and adoption studies have consistently indicated moderate-to-strong genetic contribu-tions to the risk of major mood disorders.1 Genetic association and genome-wide association studies(GWAS)suggest that there is some degree of overlap for some specific disorders but also specific genetic diversity.2 DAOA(D-amino acid oxidase activator),a gene located on human chromosome 13q33.2,plays a crucial role in the central nervous system through binding with DAO(encoding D-amino acid oxidase).Convergent lines of biological evidence suggest that DAOA is an attractive candidate gene for major mood disorders.

Effects of infusing milk precursors into the artery on rumen fermentation in lactating cows

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of infusing milk precursors into the external pudic artery on rumen fermentation in lactating dairy cows. Eight multiparous Holstein cows were randomly assigned to Group A(experimental group) and Group B(control group) with 4 cows each. A2×4 complex factor crossover design was used. Cows in Group A were fed corn straw as the only roughage, and cows in Group B were fed mixed roughage. The experiment was divided into two *** the first period, cows in Group A, received treatments: 1) a basal infusate as a control(CSC); 2) a milk fat precursor infusion including C16:0, C18:0, C18:1 c9, C18:2 c6, C18:3 n3, acetic acid(CSF); 3) a milk protein precursor infusion including 16 amino acids(CSA); 4) the mixed infusion of milk fat and protein precursors(CSFA). And meanwhile, cows in Group B were infused the basal infusate as a control group. In the second period, the cows in both Groups A and B were crossed over, which cows in Group A were named as Group B and the cows originally in Group B were in Group A. The experimental results showed that cows in experimental group had higher ruminal pH compared with the control, and ruminal pH in CSC, CSF, CSA were significantly higher than those in their respective control group(P < 0.05). The concentration of ammonia nitrogen(NH_3-N) was significantly higher in CSA and CSFA compared with Group B(P < 0.05). We also observed that the infusion of mixed amino acids significantly increased the bacterial protein(BCP) content in rumen(P < 0.05) and influenced the rumen acetic acid concentration as well as the acetic to propionic ratio(P < 0.05). Milk fat precursors infusion significantly affected butyric acid concentration(P < 0.05). In addition, the content of lipopolysaccharide(LPS) in CSA was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The characters of the intelligent substation communication network structure are analyzed in the paper. Combining existing integrated automation substation hardware circuit and VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) research foundation to optimize the network configuration. In accordance with IEC61850 standard, the network is partitioned into several VLANs based on the Tag VLAN division method of ID address. Real-time communication packets between GOOSE networks, SV (sampling information) networks, and switches use 802.1Q protocol headers to distinguish these packets. Finally, OPNET simulation software was used to simulate and verify the simplified dual-star topology. The results demonstrate that the delay and traffic bandwidth meet the requirements of actual substation operation standards. Compared with ordinary single-star networks, the reliability is greatly improved and the effectiveness is improved.
