Transition metal carbide/nitride cores within MXenes make them considerably useful for ultra-high-temperature ***,extensive research on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene has revealed its tendency to undergo a phase transition to TiCy at temperatures above 800℃due to high activity of a superficial Ti atomic ***,spark plasma sintering of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and TiC is performed to prevent the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) phase transition at temperatures up to 1900℃through the fabrication of composites at a pressure of 50 *** a focused ion beam scanning electron microscope to separate layered substances in the composites and examining selected area diffraction spots in a transmission electron microscope enabled identification of non-phase-transitioned ***-principles calculations based on density functional theory indicated the formation of strong chemical bonding interfaces between Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and TiC,which imposed a stability constraint on the Ti atomic layer at the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) *** performance tests,such as three-point bending and fracture toughness analysis,demonstrated that the addition of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) can effectively improve the cross-scale strengthening and toughening of the TiC matrix,providing a new path for designing and developing two-dimensional(2D)carbides cross-scale-enhanced three-dimensional(3D)carbides with the same elements relying on a wide variety of MXenes.

为探究低温软岩卸荷力学性质和损伤特性,采用GCTS低温岩石三轴仪对冻结砂岩(温度-5℃,-10℃和-15℃)进行不同初始围压和不同卸荷速率下的加卸载试验,并与常规加载试验相对比,通过获取全过程应力–应变曲线分析卸荷冻结砂岩的力学性能与变形特性,以及岩样的破坏特征。结果表明:(1)卸荷冻结砂岩呈剪切破坏和劈裂破坏组合破坏模式,且以劈裂破坏为主;高初始围压和高卸荷速率下,岩样脆性特征明显,破坏更加剧烈。(2)卸荷砂岩的峰值强度普遍低于(约降低1/4)常规砂岩的,残余强度则恰好相反,而二者强度值均与初始围压呈线性正相关;卸荷砂岩的弹性模量约为常规砂岩的1.5倍,泊松比为2~4倍。(3)卸荷使冻结砂岩的变形明显增大,扩容现象显著,应力–应变曲线峰前应力强化效应和峰后应力弱化效应减弱,峰后应力出现水平段。(4)卸荷主要通过降低黏聚力、提高内摩擦角来改变冻结砂岩的力学强度;卸荷速率的升高、温度的降低,使得冻结砂岩的峰值强度和弹性模量增大,变形、泊松比和残余强度减小。基于损伤力学等应变假设和Weibull分布,建立了适用于冻结砂岩的卸荷损伤本构模型,能够切实地反映冻结砂岩的侧向卸荷力学特性。研究成果可为低温软岩力学特性研究及其工程应用提供重要参考。

Wolfberry (Lycium barbarum L.) is a medicinal herb with anti-aging and neuroprotective effects. The purpose of this study was to explore the enhanced neuroprotective effects of wolfberry water extract (RW)， and brown wolfberry water extract (BBW). The reduced percentage of reducing sugar in BBW was shown to be 62.8%， 64.3%， 39.8%， and 11.6% for glucose， fructose， maltose， and lactose compared to those of RW， as well as free amino acids. And the contents of total phenols and total flavonoids were increased by 62.0% and 33.1%. Melanoidins (1% ± 0.05%) were first isolated from BBW. RW and BBW increased anti-stress abilities (oxidative stress: 24.2% vs 35.7%， and heat stress: 10.9% vs 19.1%) while decreasing the ROS levels in vivo. RW and BBW reduced the rate of paralysis and odor cognitive deficits. At the same time， RW and BBW reduced the number of fluorescent spots of Aβ::GFP. The RW and BBW activated autophagy by upregulating the gene levels (bec-1， lgg-1， lgg-2， unc-51， vps-34， atg-5， atg-18， and sqst-1). Additionally， BBW promoted the nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio of DAF-16::GFP and fluorescence intensity of SOD-3::GFP by 39.4 fold and 1.16 fold. This study laid a new insight for exploring the Maillard reaction in improving the anti-AD activity of wolfberry.

Approximately 2.5% of the global population experiences allergic reactions to seafood， making it one of the most prevalent and life-threatening allergies. Seafood allergy can lead to the disruption of the intestinal barrier， possibly due to abnormalities in intestinal glycosylation. In this study， the mechanisms underlying seafood allergy were explored through the lens of intestinal glycobiology. Mice were first sensitized with tropomyosin， resulting in significant increases in allergy symptom scores and specific antibody and Th2 cytokine levels. Intestinal damage was confirmed by histopathology assessments and levels of diamine oxidase and claudin-1. Moreover， alterations in glycosylated proteins within the jejunum were analyzed using high-throughput mass spectrometry and the pGlyco3.0 search engine， yielding 2283 glycosylation peptides corresponding to 655 unique glycosylation sites on 399 proteins in precision N-glycoproteomics. Differential expression and enrichment analyses revealed that differentially expressed glycoproteins play significant roles in the extracellular matrix (ECM)-receptor interaction pathway and focal adhesion pathway. In conclusion， tropomyosin sensitization leads to intestinal glycome changes， accompanied by remodeling of the intestinal ECM. Our research establishes an essential theoretical basis for targeting the intestinal glycome and ECM remodeling in a precise and fine-tuned manner for the treatment of food allergies.

Genetic risk factors have been shown to contribute to the development of sexual ***,the role of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR)gene variants in the risk of erectile dysfunction(ED)remains *** this study,we recruited 1254 participants who underwent ED assessed by the International Index of Erectile *** MTHFR c.677C>T variant was also measured by fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR).No significant difference in the genotypic frequency of the MTHFR C677T polymorphism(CC,CT,and TT)was observed between men from the ED and non-ED *** addition,on binary logistic regression analysis,both crude and adjusted models showed that the risk of ED was not significantly associated with the C677T ***,a significantly higher frequency of the 677TT polymorphism was found in severe and moderate ED(P=O.02).The positive correlation between the MTHFR 677TT polymorphism and severe ED was confirmed by logistic regression analysis,even after adjusting for potential confounders(odds ratio[OR]=2.46,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.15-5.50,P=0.02).These findings suggest a positive correlation between the MTHFR 677TT polymorphism and the risk of severe *** of MTHFR gene polymorphisms may provide complementary information for ED patients during routineclinicaldiagnosis.

Transition-metal oxyhydroxides are attractive catalysts for oxygen evolution reactions(OERs).further studies for developing transition-metal oxyhydroxide catalysts and understanding their catalytic mechanisms will benefit their quick transition to the next ***,Mo-doped CoOOH was designed as a high-performance model electrocatalyst with durability for 20 h at 10 mAcm−***,it had an overpotential of 260 mV(glassy carbon)or 215 mV(nickel foam),which was 78 mV lower than that of IrO_(2)(338 mV).In situ,Raman spectroscopy revealed the transformation process of *** using the density functional theory showed that during OER,doped Mo increased the spin-up density of states and shrank the spin-down bandgap of the 3d orbits in the reconstructed CoOOH under the electrochemical activation process,which simultaneously optimized the adsorption and electron conduction of oxygen-related intermediates on Co sites and lowered the OER *** research provides new insights into the methodical planning of the creation of transition-metal oxyhydroxide OER catalysts.

Tungsten(W) has been received much attention,since it is regarded as one of the most promising plasma facing materials for fusion *** are two typical morphologies of unirradiated polycrystalline W,which have the equiaxed and columnar grains,***,the role of arrangement of grain boundary(GB) in absorbing irradiation-generated point defects is still waiting to be *** current investigation,irradiation-induced void formations in W with equiaxed and columnar microstructures are predicted,respectively,using the developed phase-field *** significant kinetic behavior,such as the generation and annihilation of point defects and the interaction between point defects and GB,is reasonably *** density,size and porosity of void formed in these two microstructures are examined and analyzed according to the effects of GB ratio,temperature and damage *** analytical results show that higher GB ratio can effectively reduce void porosity,and the columnar-grained structure has better irradiation resistance than that of the equiaxed one in the case of small grain *** importantly,the predicted void sizes changed with temperature and damage rate agree well with the experimentally measured *** work has a more beneficial contribution to the microstructural improvement of International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor-grade W.

Ground Passive Microwave Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Profiles Using WRF Simulations and Machine Learning Techniques

Microwave radiometer(MWR) demonstrates exceptional efficacy in monitoring the atmospheric temperature and humidity profiles.A typical inversion algorithm for MWR involves the use of radiosonde measurements as the training ***,this is challenging due to limitations in the temporal and spatial resolution of available sounding data,which often results in a lack of coincident data with MWR deployment *** study proposes an alternative approach to overcome these limitations by harnessing the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) model's renowned simulation capabilities,which offer high temporal and spatial *** using WRF simulations that collocate with the MWR deployment location as a substitute for radiosonde measurements or reanalysis data,our study effectively mitigates the limitations associated with mismatching of MWR measurements and the sites,which enables reliable MWR retrieval in diverse geographical *** machine learning(ML) algorithms including extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),random forest(RF),light gradient boosting machine(LightGBM),extra trees(ET),and backpropagation neural network(BPNN) are tested by using WRF simulations,among which BPNN appears as the most superior,achieving an accuracy with a root-mean-square error(RMSE) of 2.05 K for temperature,0.67 g m~(-3) for water vapor density(WVD),and 13.98% for relative humidity(RH).Comparisons of temperature,RH,and WVD retrievals between our algorithm and the sounding-trained(RAD) algorithm indicate that our algorithm remarkably outperforms the *** study verifies the feasibility of utilizing WRF simulations for developing MWR inversion algorithms,thus opening up new possibilities for MWR deployment and airborne observations in global locations.
