For a long time,trouble detection and maintenance of freight cars have been completed manually by *** realize the transition from manual to computer-based detection and maintenance,we focus on dust collector localization under complex conditions in the trouble of moving freight car detection *** mid-level features which are also named flexible edge arrangement(FEA) features,we first build the edge-based 2D model of the dust collectors,and then match target objects by a weighted Hausdorff distance *** difference is that the constructed weighting function is generated by the FEA features other than specified subjectively,which can truly reflect the most basic property regions of the 3D *** results indicate that the proposed algorithm has better robustness to variable lighting,different viewing angle,and complex texture,and it shows a stronger adaptive *** localization correct rate of the target object is over 90%,which completely meets the need of practical applications.

The microstructure,mechanical performance,and electrical conductivity of Cu-Te alloy fabricated by continuous extrusion were quantitatively *** results demonstrate that the grain size of the Cu-Te alloy is refined significantly by incomplete dynamic *** Cu2Te phase stimulates recrystallization and inhibits subgrain *** extrusion,the tensile strength increases from217.8±4.8 MPa to 242.5±3.7 MPa,the yield strength increases from 65.1±3.5 MPa to 104.3±3.8 MPa,and the yield to tensile strength ratio is improved from 0.293±0.015 to 0.43±.0.091,while the electrical conductivity of room temperature decreases from 95.8±0.38%International Annealed Cu Standard(IACS)to 94.0%±0.32%*** quantitative analysis shows that the increment caused by dislocation strengthening and boundary strengthening account for 84.6%of the yield strength of the extruded Cu-Te alloy and the electrical resistivity induced by grain boundaries and dislocations accounts for 1.6%of the electrical resistivity of the extruded Cu-Te *** and boundaries contribute greatly to the increase of yield strength,but less to the increase of electrical resistivity.

Synthesis of Vanadium Nitride by a One Step Method

Vanadium nitrides were prepared via one step method of carbothermal reduction and nitridation of vanadium trioxide. Thermalgravimetric analysis （TGA） and X-ray diffraction were used to determine the reaction paths of vanadium carbide, namely the following sequential reaction： V2O3→V8C7 in higher temperature stage, the rule of vanadium nitride synthesized was established, and defined conditions of temperature for the production of the carbides and nitrides were determined. Vanadium oxycarbide may consist in the front process of carbothermal reduction of vanadium trioxide. In one step method for vanadium nitride by carbothermal reduction and nitridation of vanadium trioxide, the nitridation process is simultaneous with the carbothermal reduction. A one-step mechanism of the carbothermal reduction with simultaneous nitridation leaded to a lower terminal temperature in nitridation process for vanadium nitride produced, compared with that of carbothermal reduction process without nitridation. The grain size and shape of vanadium nitride were uniform, and had the shape of a cube. The one step method combined vacuum carborization and nitridation （namely two step method） into one process. It simplified the technological process and decreased the costs.

Dengue virus(DENV) is an arthropod-borne viral pathogen and a global health burden. Knowledge of the DENV-host interactions that mediate virus pathogenicity remains limited. Host lipid metabolism is hijacked by DENV for virus replication in which lipid droplets(LDs) play a key role during the virus lifecycle. In this study, we reveal a novel role for phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN) in LDs-mediated DENV infection. We demonstrate that PTEN expression is downregulated upon DENV infection through post-transcriptional regulation and, in turn, PTEN overexpression enhances DENV replication. PTEN lipid phosphatase activity was found to decrease cellular LDs area and number through Akt/FoxO1/Maf1 signaling, which, together with autophagy, enhanced DENV replication and virus production. We therefore provide mechanistic insight into the interaction between lipid metabolism and the DENV replication cycle.

By combining the photochemical reaction and liquid–liquid extraction(PODS), we studied desulfurization of model fuel and FCC gasoline. The effects of air flow, illumination time, extractants, volume ratios of extractant/fuel, and catalyst amounts on the desulfurization process of PODS were analyzed in detail. Under the conditions with the air as oxidant(150 ml·min^(-1)), the mixture of DMF–water as extractant(the volume ratio of extractant/oil of 0.5) and photo-irradiation time of 2 h, the sulfur removal rate reached only 42.63% and 39.54% for the model and FCC gasoline, respectively. Under the same conditions, the sulfur removal rate increased significantly up to79% for gasoline in the presence of Cu_2O catalyst(2 g·L^(-1)). The results suggest that the PODS combined with a Cu_2O catalyst seems to be a promising alternative for sulfur removal of gasoline.

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） batteries are widely deemed to be one of the most potential candidates for future secondary batteries because of their remarkable energy ***,notorious polysulfide shuttling and retarded sulfur reaction kinetics pose significant obstacles to the further application of Li-S *** rationally designed highly active electrocatalysts can facilitate polysulfide conversion,the universal and scalable synthesis strategies need to be ***,a universal synthetic strategy to construct a series of three-dimensional （3D） porous graphene-iron （3DGr-Fe） based electrocatalysts involving 3DGr-FeP,3DGr-Fe3C,and 3DGr-Fe3Se4is exploited for manipulating the Li-S redox *** has been observed that the implementation of a 3D porous Gr architecture leads to the well-designed conductive networks,while the uniformly dispersed iron nanoparticles introduce an abundance of active sites,fostering the lithium polysulfide conversion,thereby bolstering the overall electrochemical *** Li-S battery with the 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalyst exhibits remarkable capacity retention of 94.8%upon 100 times at 0.2 ***,the soft-packaged Li-S pouch cell based on such a 3DGr-Fe electrocatalyst delivers superior capacity of 1060.71 mA h g-1and guarantees for the continuous 30 min work of fan *** investigation gives comprehensive insights into the design,synthesis,and mechanism of 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalysts with high activity toward efficient and durable Li-S batteries.

Patients with complete spinal cord injury retain the potential for volitional muscle activity in muscles located below the spinal injury ***,because of prolonged inactivity,initial attempts to activate these muscles may not effectively engage any of the remaining neurons in the descending pathway.A previous study unexpectedly found that a brief clinical round of passive activity significantly increased volitional muscle activation,as measured by surface *** this study,we further explored the effect of passive activity on surface electromyographic signals during volitional control tasks among individuals with complete spinal cord *** patients with chronic complete thoracic spinal cord injury were *** electromyography data from eight major leg muscles were acquired and compared before and after the passive activity *** results indicated that the passive activity led to an increased number of activated volitional muscles and an increased frequency of *** the cumulative root mean square of surface electromyography amplitude for volitional control of movement showed a slight increase after passive activity,the difference was not statistically *** findings suggest that brief passive activity may enhance the ability to initiate volitional muscle activity during surface electromyography tasks and underscore the potential of passive activity for improving residual motor control among patients with motor complete spinal cord injury.

Research on Feature Extraction of Remnant Particles of Aerospace Relays

The existence of remnant particles, which significantly reduce the reliability of relays, is a serious problem for aerospace relays. The traditional method for detecting remnant particles-particle impact noise detection （PIND）-can be used merely to detect the existence of the particle; it is not able to provide any information about the particles＇ material. However, information on the material of the particles is very helpful for analyzing the causes of remnants. By analyzing the output acoustic signals from a PIND tester, this paper proposes three feature extraction methods： unit energy average pulse durative time, shape parameter of signal power spectral density （PSD）, and pulse linear predictive coding coefficient sequence. These methods allow identified remnants to be classified into four categories based on their material. furthermore, we prove the validity of this new method by processing P1ND signals from actual tests.

A three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics （CFD） model was developed to simulate a 150-t top-blown converter. The ef-fect of different lance heights on the cavity shape was investigated using the volume of fluid （VOF） method. Numerical simulation results can reflect the actual molten bath surface waves impinged by the supersonic oxygen jets. With increasing lance height, the cavity depth de-creases, and the cavity area, varying like a parabola, increases and then decreases. The cavity area maximizes at the lance height of 1.3 m. Under the three different lance heights simulated in this study, all of the largest impact velocities at the molten bath surface are between 50 m/s and 100 m/s.
