· AIM: To investigate the effect of emodin on pseudomonas aeruginosa lipopolysaccharides(LPS)-induced corneal inflammation in rats.· METHODS: Corneal infection was induced by pseudomonas aeruginosa LPS in Wistar rats. The inflammation induced by LPS were examined by slit lamp microscope and cytological checkup of aqueous *** tissue structure was observed by hematoxylin and eosin(HE) staining. The activation of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) was determined by Western *** ribonucleic acid(m RNA) of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) in LPS-challenged rat corneas were measured with reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).· RESULTS: Typical manifestations of acute corneal inflammation were observed in LPS-induce rat model,and the corneal inflammatory response and structure were improved in rats pretreated with emodin. Treatment with emodin could improve corneal structure, reduce corneal injure by reducing corneal inflammatory response. Emodin could inhibit the decreasing lever of inhibitor of kappa B alpha(IкBα) express, and the m RNA expression of TNF-α and ICAM-1 in corneal tissues was also inhibited by emodin. The differences were statistically significant between groups treated with emodin and those without treatment(P <0.01).·CONCLUSION: Emodin could ameliorate LPS-induced corneal inflammation, which might via inhibiting the activation of NF-κB.

违实条件句的成立由偏句、主句命题为假决定。多样的违实因素,如条件连词、语气词、语气副词、否定词、动词性明显条件连词、双音节条件连词、时间词及虚假义“假”等构成的违实条件句,具有不同的句法语义特征,但仅仅使违实语义更加明晰。总的来说,违实因素并不起到决定性的作用;可以位于句首、谓语前和句尾三个位置;常叠加使用;违实条件句具有过去、现在和将来三个时制特征,且主句常使用反问句式等。

目的:探讨颈前路椎间盘切除减压植骨融合术(anterior cervical discectomy and fusion,ACDF)治疗椎动脉型颈椎病(cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type,CSA)的临床效果。方法:回顾性分析2020年1月至2022年1月42例CSA患者的临床资料,男25例,女17例;年龄30~74(53.9±11.0)岁。单节段病变18例,2个节段病变17例,3个节段病变7例。分别在术前和术后6个月时采用美国耳鼻咽喉头颈外科学会听力及平衡委员会评分(Committee on Hearing and Equilibrium,CHE)、颈椎功能障碍指数(neck disability index,NDI)和颈椎曲度Cobb角进行临床疗效评价。结果:42例患者均获随访,随访时间6~30(14.0±5.2)个月;手术时间95~220(160.38±36.77)min,术中出血量30~85(53.60±18.98)ml。2例术后出现轻度吞咽困难,给予雾化吸入等对症处理后均好转。CHE评分由术前(4.05±0.96)分降低至术后6个月的(2.40±0.70)分(t=12.97,P<0.05)。术后6个月38例眩晕改善,改善率90.5%。NDI评分的由术前的(34.43±8.04)分降低至术后6个月的(20.76±3.91)分(t=11.83,P<0.05)。颈椎曲度Cobb角由术前的(8.04±6.70)°提高至术后6个月的(12.42±5.23)°(t=-15.96,P<0.05)。结论:ACDF术式治疗椎动脉型颈椎病的临床疗效突出,手术通过解除骨性压迫,重建颈椎曲度,可快速缓解患者的发作性眩晕症状。但需要严格把握手术指征,明确患者眩晕原因,对保守治疗无效的CSA患者,ACDF手术可推荐使用。

Light collection efficiency is an important factor that affects the performance of many optical and optoelectronic *** these devices,the high reflectivity of interfaces can hinder efficient light *** minimize unwanted reflection,anti-reflection surfaces can be fabricated by micro/*** this paper,we investigate the fabrication of broadband anti-reflection Si surfaces by laser micro/*** direct writing is applied to create microstructures on Si surfaces that reduce light reflection by light *** addition,laser interference lithography and metal assisted chemical etching are adopted to fabricate the Si nanowire *** anti-reflection performance is greatly improved by the high aspect ratio subwavelength structures,which create gradients of refractive index from the ambient air to the ***,by decoration of the Si nanowires with metallic nanoparticles,surface plasmon resonance can be used to further control the broadband reflections,reducing the reflection to below 1.0%across from 300 to 1200 *** average reflection of 0.8%is achieved.

Background It is well known that dehydration can impair bodily functions. To evaluate the impact of hydration status under ambient environmental temperature on the immune system, 25 male collegiate wrestlers were recruited to undergo an experimental dehydration *** Thirteen subjects had controlled diets with individual energy requirements to prevent body mass loss and restricted water intake to cause 4.52% dehydration; they formed the dehydrated group （DE）. These subjects developed a urine specific gravity of about 1.030 in 84 hours. Twelve other subjects had no water restriction and maintained their total body weight comprised the euhydrated group （EU）. Peripheral blood monocytes （PBMNC） were isolated after dehydration to perform immune response testing by being incubated with a polysaccharide fraction from fu-ling, Poria cocos （polysaccharide fraction from Poria cocos, PCPS, 1-30 μg/L）, to prepare a conditioned medium termed conditioned medium of PBMNC stimulated by PCPS （PCPS-MNC-CM）. More PCPS （25 μg/L） was needed in the DE group to prepare the PCPS-MNC-CM, which was assayed with a growth inhibitory curve for treated U973 *** The treated U937 cells, incubated together with PCPS-MNC-CM from the DE group, exhibited a much lower nitroblue tetrazolium （NBT） positive value of （63.7±4.7）%. The concentration of interferon-gamma （IFN-Y）, interleukin （IL）-1β and tumor necrosis factor （TNF）-α in PCPS-MNC-CM from subjects after dehydration was much lower than in the CM from the EU *** The immune response to PCPS in the DE group was lower than in normally hydrated subjects.

GIS-based Evaluation on the Fault Motion-Induced Coseismic Landslides

Earthquake-induced potential landslides are commonly estimated using landslide susceptibility maps. Nevertheless, the fault location is not identified and the ground motion caused by it is unavailable in the map. Thus, potential coseismic landslides for a specific fault motion-induced earthquake could not be predicted using the map. It is meaningful to incorporate the fault location and ground motion characteristics into the landslide predication model. A new method for a specific fault motion-induced coseismic landslide prediction model using GIS (Geographic Information System) is proposed herein. Location of mountain ridges, slope gradients over 45 o , PVGA (Peak Vertical Ground Accelerations) exceeded 0.15 g, and PHGA (Peak Horizontal Ground Accelerations) exceeded 0.25 g of slope units were representing locations that initiated landslides during the 1999 Chi-Chi earthquake in Taiwan. These coseismic landslide characteristics were used to identify areas where landslides occurred during Meishan fault motion-induced strong ground motions in Chiayi County in Taiwan. The strong ground motion (over 8 Gal in the database, 1 Gal = 0.01 m/s 2 , and 1 g = 981 Gal) characteristics were evaluated by the fault length, site distance to the fault, and topography, and their attenuation relations are presented in GIS. The results of the analysis show that coseismic landslide areas could be identified promptly using GIS. The earthquake intensity and focus depth have visible effects on ground motion. The shallower the focus depth, the larger the magnitude increase of the landslides. The GIS-based landslide predication method is valuable combining the geomorphic characteristics and ground motion attenuation relationships for a potential region landslide hazard assessment and in disaster mitigation planning.

Objective ; To study effects of Jiangtang Fanglong Wan （glucose-lowering and deafness-preventing capsule） on hearing in an animal model of diabetes. Methods Wistar rats were used to create a diabetes model by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin （STZ, 55 mg/kg）. Forty rats were randomly selected to receive Jiangtang Fanglong Wan （ 10 g/kg/ day） through intragastric garage （treatment group） or normal saline （control group）. Auditory brainstem responses （ABRs） were recorded at Months 1, 2 and 3. Results ABR latencies and wave intervals were similar between the two groups at Month 1 （P 〉 0.05）. ABR latencies and wave intervals were shorter in the treatment group than those of the control group at Months 2 and 3 （P 〈 0.05 and P 〈 0.01, respectively）. Conclusion Our results suggest that Jiangtang Fanglong Wan may have a beneficial effect in preventing and treating hearing impairment associated with diabetes.
