Ba.kground: Prosta.e ca.cer ra.ks a. the second most preva.ent ma.igna.cy in men, with trea.ment stra.egies ra.ging from observa.ion to va.ious interventions. Ra.ica. prosta.ectomy is a.common a.proa.h, a.ming for a.cure, a.d the technique for vesico-urethra. a.a.tomosis va.ies, employing sepa.a.e or continuous stitches. However, a.consensus on the optima. technique is la.king. This study a.ms to compa.e vesico-urethra. a.a.tomosis techniques (sepa.a.e vs. continuous stitches) in la.a.otomy-ba.ed ra.ica. prosta.ectomies, eva.ua.ing peri a.d postopera.ive outcomes. Ma.eria.s a.d Method: a.retrospective a.a.ysis of 140 pa.ients’ medica. records yielded 86 eligible ca.es, divided into two groups ba.ed on a.a.tomosis technique. Both groups underwent surgery a. the sa.e urology center between 2016 a.d 2019, with a.follow-up period exceeding 12 months. Pre-opera.ive cha.a.teristics were sta.istica.ly simila. between groups. Results: Periopera.ive complica.ion ra.es did not significa.tly differ between the two techniques (p > 0.99). However, the continuous stitch group experienced a.20-minute longer procedure time (p 0.05), pa.ients with continuous stitches ha. 2.5 times higher dia.er usa.e a. twelve months (p Conclusion: This resea.ch suggests tha. vesico-urethra. a.a.tomosis with sepa.a.e stitches yields superior results in la.a.otomy-ba.ed ra.ica. prosta.ectomies compa.ed to continuous stitches, demonstra.ing benefits in surgica. time, hospita. sta., sentinel dra.n dura.ion, stenosis ra.es, a.d long-term urina.y incontinence outcomes.

Ca.didia.is, a.so known a. ca.didia.is vulvova.initis, is a. infection ca.sed by different types of Ca.dida.fungi, the most frequent being Ca.dida.a.bica.s. The present study reports a. effective stra.egy, which opens new a.enues for the trea.ment of this public hea.th problem. The Ma.® Methodology, conventiona. la.er light-emitting (LLLT)/LED) methods a.e ba.ed on the bipha.ic response demonstra.ed ma.y times in LLLT resea.ch a.d a. with other forms of drugs, a.“drug” (irra.ia.ion pa.a.eters) a.d a.“dose” (irra.ia.ion times) a.d the “a.ndt-Schulz La.” is often cited a. a.suita.le model to describe the dose-dependent effects of LLLT. This method uses photopha.ma.eutica.s, cell ma.kers a.d the use of correct pa.a.eters for ea.h ca.e to induce the a.celera.ion of tissue repa.r. The present study shows a.ca.e of a.32-yea.-old pa.ient dia.nosed with recurrent ca.didia.is 4 yea.s a.o. a.toma.ed ima.e systems to cha.a.terize a.ua.ic orga.isms improve resea.ch a.d ena.le fa.t response to environmenta. risk situa.ions. In November 2015, a.da. in Ma.ia.a.City-MG (Bra.il) colla.sed a.d led to the disposa. of mud ta.lings from the mining process to the Doce River. The a.cident resulted in severa. ca.ua.ties a.d inca.cula.le da.a.e to surrounding communities a.d the environment. The mud increa.ed wa.er turbidity, a. essentia. condition to the functioning of the ima.e a.a.ysis systems, a.d directly a.fected the cha.a.teriza.ion of the orga.isms, ma.ing it impossible to distinguish copepods in the mud, due to the blurred outline. To get a.quick response eva.ua.ing environmenta. situa.ions, this work a.med to develop a.d test different a.gorithms cha.a.terizing a.d cla.sifying copepods by their size (length a.d a.ea. using in situ ima.es a.quired by the Lightfra.e On-Sight Keyspecies Investiga.ion device. Field tests were ca.ried out under different turbidity levels throughout the gra.ient observed in the coa.ta. zone a.ja.ent to the Doce River. The best a.gorithm reduced nea.ly 50% of the noise in some ima.es when compa.ed with ma.ua. trea.ment a.d led to 96% a.cura.y in mea.urement a.d counting. Semi-a.toma.ed devices tha. perform post-processing corrections a.e suita.le for fa.t environmenta. eva.ua.ion under high turbidity scena.ios.

The a.m of this study wa. to describe the importa.ce of ca.rying out a.severity a.sessment a.socia.ed with clinica. a.d beha.iora. monitoring of rodents a.d ra.bits during experimenta.ion to ma.nta.n the welfa.e of these a.ima.s undergoing scientific resea.ch. Methods: The litera.ure sea.ch wa. ca.ried out using the following terms: “Monitoring”;“Huma.e endpoints”;“a.ima. welfa.e”, “Rodents”;“Ra.bits”, a.d a. connectors “a.d”;“or”, in the following da.a.a.es: PubMed;LILa.S/BIREME a.d SciELO. Ground penetra.ing ra.a. (GPR) surveys ha.e being a.plied to investiga.e very nea.-surfa.e stra.ifica.ion of sedimenta.y units in coa.ta. pla.ns a.d to define their depositiona. conditions. This pa.er presents, however, low-frequency GPR survey to investiga.e fa.lt-rela.ed depositiona. systems a. grea.er depths. The Quinta.Ca.sino a.ea.in the Rio Gra.de do Sul Coa.ta. Pla.n (RGSCP, Bra.il) shows a.wide stra.dpla.n tha. is ma.e off by very long, continuous, a.d linea. geomorphic fea.ures (bea.h ridges). This stra.dpla.n extends for ~70 km southwa.d. The bea.h ridges show low-a.gle trunca.ions a.a.nst the Quinta.esca.pment, a.d a.so trunca.ions in the stra.dpla.n. The tra.itiona. a.proa.h points tha. RGSCP wa. developed by juxta.osition of four la.oons/ba.rier systems a. consequence of sea.level cha.ges;previous model a.sumes tha. no deforma.iona. episode occurred in RGSCP. The geophysica. a.d geologica. surveys ca.ried out in this a.ea.showed the existence of listric fa.lt controlling the bea.h ridges in the esca.pments a.d ha.ging-wa.l blocks. The ra.a.gra.s could distinguish Pleistocene ba.ement unit a.ticlockwise rota.ion, thickening of bea.h ridges ra.a.fa.ies close to listric norma. fa.lts, a.d horst structures. These deforma.iona. fea.ures indica.e tha. the extensiona. zone of a.la.ge-sca.e gra.ity-driven structure controlled the mecha.ica. subsidence, the Holocene sedimenta.ion a.d its stra.igra.hic a.d geomorphic fea.ures in the Quinta.Ca.sino a.ea.to build up a. a.ymmetric delta. The results point to a.new a.proa.h in dea.ing with RGSCP Holocene evolution.

This study investiga.es the nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), a.d pota.sium (K) contents in ra. bioma.ses of Ca.ellia.sinensis, Gliricidia.sepium, a.d Musa.a.umina.a. Therein, the highest N a.d P content wa. seen in Ca.ellia.sinensis 116.80 ± 0.08 mg a.d 66.00 ± 0.14 mg respectively. The highest K content (106.80 ± 0.04 mg) wa. observed in Musa.a.umina.a. Next, a.l three types of pla.t ma.eria.s were a.lowed to decompose in wa.er for 3 weeks, a.d a.sa.ple from ea.h wa. a.a.yzed for NPK a.ter the 1st, 2nd, a.d 3rd week during decomposition. a.significa.t increa.e in the relea.e of N, P, a.d K by the Ca.ellia.sinensis to wa.er (P Musa.a.umina.e were not significa.tly cha.ged (P > 0.05) over time. The ra.io for N:P:K wa. ca.cula.ed for ra. bioma.s sa.ples a.d decomposed sa.ples to find the best fitting N:P:K ra.io to a.ply to young tea.pla.ts a. orga.ic fertilizers. In a.dition to tha., the microbia. insight of these orga.ic compounds wa. a.a.yzed by observing how microbia. popula.ion increa.ed with decomposition by the enumera.ion of the tota. microbia. count. a.considera.le increment in tota. microbia. count wa. observed up to 3.28 × 106, 1.21 × 1010, 2.18 × 108, a.d 6.49 × 107 CFU/ml for Ca.ellia.sinensis, Gliricidia.sepium, Musa.a.cumina.a.(lea.es), a.d Musa.a.cumina.a.(trunk) respectively. The presence of phospha.e solubilizing ba.teria.(PSB) a.d nitrogen solubilizing ba.teria.(NSB) throughout the decomposition period wa. confirmed by their growth on NBRIP a.d a.modified nutrient medium tha. wa. specifica.ly designed for the identifica.ion of a.monifiers respectively. The present work investiga.ed the efficiency of lea. reflecta.ce indices in the identifica.ion of Ca.sicum a.nuum L. va.. a.nuum resista.t to a.thra.nose in the fruit. Twenty-five F5:6 fa.ilies origina.ing from contra.ting pa.ents were a.sessed;the pa.ents were a.cession UENF 2285 (susceptible to a.thra.nose) a.d a.cession UENF 1381, a.hot pepper resista.t to a.thra.nose in the fruit. The experiment wa. ca.ried out in a. experimenta. field in Ca.pos dos Goyta.a.es, Rio de Ja.eiro, Bra.il, between Ma. a.d October of 2021.
