Resin infiltration of deproteinised natural occlusal subsurface lesions improves initial quality of fissure sealing

The aim of this ex vivo study was to evaluate the infiltration capability and rate of microleakage of a low-viscous resin infiltrant combined with a flowable composite resin(RI/CR) when used with deproteinised and etched occlusal subsurface lesions(International Caries Detection and Assessment System code 2). This combined treatment procedure was compared with the exclusive use of flowable composite resin(CR) for fissure sealing. Twenty premolars and 20 molars revealing non-cavitated occlusal carious lesions were randomly divided into two groups and were meticulously cleaned and deproteinised using Na OCl(2%). After etching with HCl(15%), 10 premolar and 10 molar lesions were infiltrated(Icon/DMG; rhodamine b isothiocyanate(RITC)-labelled) followed by fissure sealing(G-?nial Flo/GC; experimental group, RI/CR). In the control group(CR), the carious fissures were only sealed. Specimens were cut perpendicular to the occlusal surface and through the area of the highest demineralisation(DIAGNOdent pen, Ka Vo). Using confocal laser-scanning microscopy, the specimens were assessed with regard to the percentage of caries infiltration, marginal adaption and internal integrity. Within the CR group, the carious lesions were not infiltrated. both premolar(57.9% ± 23.1%) and molar lesions(35.3% ± 22.1%) of the RI/CR group were uniformly infiltrated to a substantial extent, albeit with significant differences(P = 0.034). Moreover, microleakage(n = 1) and the occurrence of voids(n = 2) were reduced in the RI/CR group compared with the CR group(5 and 17 specimens,respectively). The RI/CR approach increases the initial quality of fissure sealing and is recommended for the clinical control of occlusal caries.

硬质红粒春小麦的产量受每穗小穗数的影响。为了能够进行预测,有必要更好地了解水分和温度对穗部分化、穗和小穗的发育以及小穗数等的影响。用硬红春小麦‘Sinton’研究了上述二因素对穗部发育和每穗小穗数的作用。在评价小穗发育期间温度对每穗小穗数的影响中,所用的资料包括在美国北达科他州曼丹进行的田间实验中的资料。与先在26℃下生长,又在出苗后第4、8或12天生长在18℃下的植株相比,出苗的第4、8或12天以前生长在18℃下,此后又生长在26℃下的植株,达到二棱期和小穗发育终止期的时间稍短一些,小穗发育期短些,每穗小穗数也少些。这一情况说明,从二棱期前6—8天到小穗形成的终止这段时间的温度较高(26℃)是要减少每穗小穗数的。出苗后第12天开始受到水分胁迫的植株到达二棱期所需的时间与对照相同,但小穗发育期较短,每穗小穗较少。本研究还认为,植株从营养生长转入生殖生长是一个连续统一体.回归分析表明,小穗发育终止期的每穗小穗数与小穗发育期间的最高日温的回归关系是显著的负线性相关,R^2=-0.69。利用这种关系,再应用生长度-日(为估测小穗发育时期),就可以提高由每穗小穗数预估籽粒产量的准确性。

Macrophage plasticity is critical for normal tissue repair following *** pathologic states such as diabetes,macrophage plasticity is impaired,and macrophages remain in a persistent proinflammatory state;however,the reasons for this are ***,using single-cell RNA sequencing of human diabetic wounds,we identified increased JMJD3 in diabetic wound macrophages,resulting in increased inflammatory gene ***,we report that in wound healing,JMJD3 directs early macrophage-mediated inflammation via JAK1,3/STAT3 ***,in the diabetic state,we found that IL-6,a cytokine increased in diabetic wound tissue at later time points post-injury,regulates JMJD3 expression in diabetic wound macrophages via the JAK1,3/STAT3 pathway and that this late increase in JMJD3 induces NFκb-mediated inflammatory gene transcription in wound macrophages via an H3K27me3 ***,RNA sequencing of wound macrophages isolated from mice with JMJD3-deficient myeloid cells(Jmjd3f/fLyz2Cre+)identified that the STING gene(Tmem173)is regulated by JMJD3 in wound *** limits inflammatory cytokine production by wound macrophages during ***,in diabetic mice,its role changes to limit wound repair and enhance *** finding is important since STING is associated with chronic inflammation,and we found STING to be elevated in human and murine diabetic wound macrophages at late time ***,we demonstrate that macrophage-specific,nanoparticle inhibition of JMJD3 in diabetic wounds significantly improves diabetic wound repair by decreasing inflammatory cytokines and *** together,this work highlights the central role of JMJD3 in tissue repair and identifies cell-specific targeting as a viable therapeutic strategy for nonhealing diabetic wounds.

Parasitic nematodes have been reported as one of the major constraints to soybean production worldwide. The majority of nematodes are so-called “free-living” and feed mainly on bacteria, fungi, protozoa and other nematodes. In burkina Faso, the presence of parasitic nematodes has been reported in crops such as rice and sorghum. The objective of this study was to identify the genera and species of nematodes associated with soybean production in burkina Faso. Investigations were carried out on 24 genotypes of a medium-maturity group of soybean at the Farako-ba research station. Soil samples were taken from the trial soil before its installation. At harvest, soil samples with roots were taken from each genotype in the elementary plots. The composite sample is represented by 4 lots of soil samples with roots. Extractions and counts of nematodes were performed on the different lots. In total, 7 genera of plant-parasitic nematodes associated with soybean were identified. Among these genera, Pratylenchus (100% of infected genotypes), Helicotylenchus (97.28%) and Scutellonema (94.44%) were the most prevalent in terms of frequency and abundance. Some soybean genotypes were less susceptible to the genus Pratylenchus is known to be highly pathogenic in soybean. These were mainly the genotypes TGX2025-10E, TGX2023-3E and TGX2025-14E.

Cores produced with Inorganic binding technology(IOb) are already widely used in German automotive aluminium foundries. This initial step(2005) is now followed by foundries all over the world – like in China, Mexico, brazil, Russia, Korea, Japan and USA. More and more cast-makers are closely following developments in the field of IOb technology, taking advantage of the environmental and production-related benefits offered by this process. While the inorganic core-making technology is already established for aluminium castings, the challenges arising from usage in serial production for iron castings have still to be mastered. Current research and further development of the Cordis Process for Iron Castings are required. This paper presents the state of the art in this field, reached by a joint development project driven by two partners with global footprint in the foundry industry: HA Group and brembo.
