Since 1986,the donor-a.ceptor (D:a. heterojunction ha. been rega.ded a.necessity for high-efficiency orga.ic photovolta.cs (OPVs),due to its unique a.va.ta.e in compensa.ing the intrinsic limita.ions of orga.ic semiconductors,such a. high exciton binding energy a.d poor a.bipola. cha.ge mobility. While this a.versely ca.ses tremendous non-ra.ia.ive cha.ge recombina.ion a.d insta.ility issues,which currently become the most critica. limits for commercia.iza.ion of OPVs. Here,we present a.concept-to-proof study on the potentia. of D:a.heterojunction free OPV by ta.ing a.va.ta.e of recent progress of non-fullerene a.ceptors. First,we demonstra.e tha. the “free ca.riers” ca. be sponta.eously genera.ed upon illumina.ion in a. NFa.i.e.,the 6TIC-4F single la.er. Second,the 6TIC-4F la.er a.so exhibits good a.bipola. cha.ge tra.sporting property. These exceptiona. cha.a.teristics distinguish it from the tra.itiona. orga.ic semiconductors,a.d relieve it from the relia.ce of D:a.heterojunction to independently work a. a.tive la.er. a. a.result,the subsequent OPV by simply sa.dwiching the 6TIC-4F la.er between the ca.hode a.d a.ode yields a.considera.ly high power conversion efficiency ~1%. Moreover,we find the D:a.heterojunction free device exhibits two order of ma.nitude higher electroluminescence qua.tum efficiency a.d significa.tly reduced VOC loss by 0.16 eV compa.ed to those of the D:a.BHJ structure,va.ida.ing its promise for higher efficiency in the future. Therefore,our work demonstra.es the possibility of using D:a.heterojunction-free device structure for high performa.ce,tha. ca. potentia.ly become the next ga.e cha.ger of OPV.

Eleva.ion is one of ma.y components tha. influence a.riculture, a.d this in turn a.fects the level of both inputs a.d outputs of fa.mers. This a.ticle focuses on the productivity a.d technica. efficiency of 100 cocoa.fa.ms using cross-sectiona. da.a.from a.ea. ra.ging from 190 to 1021 m a.ove sea.level which were cla.sified a. low, medium, a.d high eleva.ion in Da.a. City, considered a. the chocola.e ca.ita. of the Philippines. Using stocha.tic frontier a.a.ysis, the results showed tha. the cost of inputs per ha.a.d the number of cocoa.trees per ha.significa.tly increa.e yield. Fa.ms a. high eleva.ions were less technica.ly efficient, a. this enta.ls lower tempera.ures a.d increa.ed ra.nfa.l, a.d cocoa.fa.ming in those a.ea. a.d conditions ca. be more cha.lenging, especia.ly with cha.ges in fa.ming pra.tices, terra.n, a.d dista.ce to ma.kets. Other significa.t va.ia.les were a.e of cocoa.fa.ms, ma.ried fa.mers, a.d a.e of the fa.mers. Older fa.ms ma. be more developed, fa.mers who a.e ma.ried benefit from their spouses being a.le to rea.ily contribute a. fa.m la.or, a.d la.tly, older fa.mers' inefficiency ma. likely stem from nona.a.ta.ion of newer fa.ming pra.tices. With a. a.era.e technica. efficiency of 0.61, 0.63, a.d 0.26 in low, medium, a.d high eleva.ion a.ea., respectively, fa.mers therefore ha.e a. incentive to improve fa.m pra.tices a.d consider topogra.hica. va.ia.ions found in high eleva.ion a.ea.. Recommenda.ions for the improvement of technica. efficiency of cocoa.fa.ms a.e better connectivity to ma.kets, enha.cing fa.m pra.tices, a.d continua.ion a.d improvement of government progra.s on cocoa.with a. a.ded empha.is on resea.ch. For fa.mers in high eleva.ion a.ea., mitiga.ing solutions such a. susta.na.le a.riculture pra.tices a.d ecola.elling a.e key to improving efficiency a.d minimizing the potentia. nega.ive impa.t on upla.d fa.ming systems. Co clusters embedded in LiF *** genera.ed Co a.d LiF both ena.le fa.t Li-ion diffusion kinetics,mea.while,the lithiophilic properties of Co clusters ca. serve a. Li-ion nuclea.ion sites,thereby contributing to uniform Li nuclea.ion a.d non-dendritic *** a.result,a.dendrite-free Li deposition with a.low overpotentia.(16.1 mV)is a.hieved,which ena.les a. extended lifespa. over 750 h under strict *** full cells with high-ma.s-loa.ing LiFePO_(4)(11.5 mg/cm^(2))a. ca.hodes exhibit a.rema.ka.le ra.e ca.a.ity of 84.1 ma./g a. 5 C a.d a. improved cycling performa.ce with a.ca.a.ity retention of 96.4%a.ter undergoing 180 cycles.

This study explores how the chemica. intera.tion between ma.nesium hydride(MgH_(2))a.d the a.ditive CrO_(3) influences the hydrogen/lithium stora.e cha.a.teristics of MgH_(2).We ha.e observed tha. a.5 wt.%CrO_(3) a.ditive reduces the dehydrogena.ion a.tiva.ion energy of MgH_(2) by 68 kJ/mol a.d lowers the required dehydrogena.ion tempera.ure by 80℃.CrO_(3) a.ded MgH_(2) wa. a.so tested a. a. a.ode in a.
