Various epidemics have occurred throughout history,which has led to the investigation and understanding of their transmission *** a result,non-local operators are used for mathematical modeling in this ***,this research focuses on developing a dysentery diarrhea model with the use of a fractional operator using a one-parameter Mittag–Leffler *** model consists of three classes of the human population,whereas the fourth one belongs to the pathogen *** model carefully deals with the dimensional homogeneity among the parameters and the fractional *** addition,the model was validated by fitting the actual number of dysentery diarrhea infected cases covering 52 weeks in 2017,which occurred in *** biological parameters were fitted,and fractional orderνwas *** basic reproduction numbers R0 were 1.7031 and 1.9581,which correspond to the fractional and integer-order models,*** fractional model showed smaller discrepancies compared to the integer-order model when the models were fitted and validated with the actual cases of infected *** theory for the existence and uniqueness of the solutions was extensively explored,and the stability of equilibria was *** most influential parameters were found via forward sensitivity *** multidisciplinary research shows and explains the results of numerical simulations applied to a biological issue.

The evolution of the natural and pristine Mediterranean coastline Port aux Princes-Sidi Daoued(Gulf of Tunis,NE-Tunisia) is studied during the period of 1887–2010 on the basis of an ancient minute of bathymetry(1887) and aerial photographs treated by numerical photogrammetric methods. Morphological changes of the coastline shows a general retreat despite the absence of the various anthropogenic actions. Adding to the drift currents and the currents of high energy that are generated by the N-W dominant waves along steeply sub-marine funds, the erosion is mainly due to the sea level rise which increased since the beginning of the 2000 s. The Port aux PrincesSidi Daoued coastline works as a single littoral cell limited by Jbel Korbous to the SW and the fishing harbor of Sidi Daoued to the N-E.

Identification and Cloning of Differentially Expressed Genes Involved in the Interaction Between Potato and Phytophthora infestans using a Subtractive Hybridization and cDNA-AFLP Combinational Approach

Using a subtractive hybridization （SH）/cDNA-AFLP combinational approach, differentially expressed genes involved in the potato-Phytophthora infestans interaction were identified. These included genes potentially controlling pathogenesis or avr genes in P. infestans as well as those potentially involved in potato resistance or susceptibility to this pathogen. Forty-one differentially expressed transcript, derived fragments （TDFs）, resulting from the interaction, were cloned and sequenced. Two TDFs, suggested as potential pathogenicity factors, have sequence similarity to N-succinyl diaminopimelate aminotransferase and a transcriptional regulator, TetR family gene, respectively. Two other TDFs, suggested as potential avr genes, have sequence similarity to an EST sequence from Avr41Cf.41Avr91Cf- 9 and a P. infestans avirulence-associated gene, respectively. Genes＇ expression and origin were confirmed using Southern blots, Northern blots and qRT-PCR, he., potential resistance gene DL81 was induced at 12 hpi in the moderately resistant cultivar, whereas it was down-regulated as early as 6 hpi in the susceptible cultivar. On the other hand, DL21 was induced at 6 hpi （3.38-fold） in response to the highly aggressive isolate （US8） and strongly up-regulated thereafter （25.13-fold at 120 hpi.）, whereas it was only slightly up-regulated in response to the weakly aggressive isolate US11 （3.82-fold at 96 hpi）, suggesting its potential involvement as a susceptibility gene.

The wave power in high potential area of the northern Persian Gulf(near to Iranian coastal areas)is assessed by taking into account the temporal and spatial distributions of wave power for a period of forty *** this purpose,assimilated wind data of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasting Interim Reanalysis(ERA-Interim),and hydrography data of General Bathymetric Chat of the oceans(GEBCO)are used as SWAN *** locations are investigated in the study area by considering the amount of coefficient of variation,the amount of average annual power,and the short-term and a new long-term(decadal variability index)power stability assessment *** results showed more stability in the eastern parts of the study area and concluded that a narrow line between the point which is in the middle and another point which is in the eastern middle part of the study area may be the best locations for more investigation and the feasibility study for energy converter ***,it is found that the middle part of the study region with about 2.5 kW/m power is the most energetic *** is concluded that the dominant direction of wave power distribution in all points is the northeast,and this dominant direction has not changed during the forty-year *** is observed that the mean annual energy increases with a slight slope in the total 40 a,and this increasing trend is more obvious in the fourth *** it is observed that the wave power of the second decade has the most stability and the least variation,the wave power in the fourth decade has the most ***,the results showed that the study region’s wave power increase by approximately a mean change rate of 0.027 kW/(m·a);and the maximum change rate of wave power was in the northwest part and the minimum change rate of wave power was in the southeast part which were about 0.036 kW/(m·a)and 0.014 kW/(m·a),respectively.

This paper investigates the problem of controlling half-vehicle semi-active suspension system involving a magnetorheological(MR)*** features a hysteretic behavior that is presently captured through the nonlinear Bouc-Wen *** control objective is to regulate well the heave and the pitch motions of the chassis despite the road *** difficulty of the control problem lies in the nonlinearity of the system model,the uncertainty of some of its parameters,and the inaccessibility to measurements of the hysteresis internal state *** Lyapunov control design tools,we design two observers to get online estimates of the hysteresis internal states and a stabilizing adaptive state-feedback *** whole adaptive controller is formally shown to meet the desired control *** theoretical result is confirmed by several simulations demonstrating the supremacy of the latter compared to the skyhook control and passive suspension.

Energy efficiency, which consists of using less energy or improving the level of service to energy consumers, refers to an effective way to provide overall energy. But its increasing pressure on the energy sector to control greenhouse gases and to reduce CO2 emissions forced the power system operators to consider the emission problem as a consequential matter besides the economic problems. The economic power dispatch problem has, therefore, become a multi-objective optimization problem. Fuel cost, pollutant emissions, and system loss should be minimized simultaneously while satisfying certain system constraints. To achieve a good design with different solutions in a multi-objective optimization problem, fuel cost and pollutant emissions are converted into single optimization problem by introducing penalty factor. Now the power dispatch is formulated into a hi-objective optimization problem, two objectives with two algorithms, firefly algorithm for optimization the fuel cost, pollutant emissions and the real genetic algorithm for minimization of the transmission losses. In this paper the new approach （firefly algorithm-real genetic algorithm, FFA-RGA） has been applied to the standard IEEE 30-bus 6-generator. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by comparing its performance with other evolutionary multi- objective optimization algorithms. Simulation results show the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.

An international panel recently proposed an update to the terminology and diagnostic criteria for fatty liver *** experts proposed a change in the nomenclature from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)to metabolic(dysfunction)-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD).This single-letter change,we believe,heralds the dawn of a new era in clinical practice and in clinical and basic research as *** new nomenclature with the easily applicable approach has stimulated the enthusiasm of the researchers worldwide,resulting in a large number of publications over the past two *** recent studies have provided tremendous evidence of the superiority of the MAFLD criteria over the NAFLD *** studies in different geographic areas of the world including the United States,Europe,and Asia on a large number of patients proved that the utility of MAFLD criteria was higher than that of the NAFLD criteria in different aspects of fatty liver ***,many societies,physician and nurse groups,health stakeholders,representatives of regulatory sciences,and others endorsed the new *** we highlight the endorsement of the new name by different societies and groups and the outcome of different studies on the new nomenclature in addition to a short discussion of the debate by some experts.

Damage to a glass surface by sandblasting has a remarkable effect on its mechanical properties and *** this study,we analyze the superficial deterioration of soda-lime glass and its influence on the mechanical *** by gravitation from a fixed height causes damages by the free fall of different quantities of sand,which we performed for a selected grain size and at different angles of *** characterize the surface state,we used different roughness measures(the arithmetic mean value of the roughness Ra,the root mean square roughness Rq,and the maximum roughness Rmax)and measured the optical transmission(transmittance)at different points on the specimen surface using a *** determine the mechanical strength,we proceeded by two methods:first,by a shock ball(falling ball),and then by biaxial bending using circular *** effects of the surface damage on the optical transmission and the mechanical strength of the glass are graphically presented and discussed in this paper.
