Amine-based absorption/stripping is one of the promising technology for CO2 capture from natural and industrial gas *** the process,amines and CO2 undergo irreversible reactions to produce undesired compounds,which cause corrosion,foaming,increased viscosity and breakdown of equipment,ultimately contributing to the economic loss and environmental *** this study,the thermal degradation of aqueous diethanolamine in the presence and absence of dissolved CO2 was *** experiments were performed in stainless steel *** results show that thermal degradation in the absence of CO2 was a slow process;triethanolamine,and tris(2-aminoethyl)amine were only the degradation products identified in the mixture In addition,the rate of degradation was very low,only 3%degradation was observed after 4 *** in the presence of CO2,sixteen degradation products were identified,nine of which were new degradation products reported for the first time in this *** 3-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-oxazolidinone,1,4-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine and triethanolamine were the most abundant degradation *** remaining DEA concentration after 4 weeks was about 20%of the total amine *** most probable degradation reactions and their mechanisms are also proposed.

The speed and pace of the transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2;also referred to as novel Coronavirus 2019 and COVID-19)have resulted in a global pandemic,with significant health,financial,political,and other *** have been various attempts to manage COVID-19 and other pandemics using technologies such as Internet of Things(IoT)and 5G/6G ***,we also need to ensure that IoT devices used to facilitate COVID-19 monitoring and treatment(e.g.,medical IoT devices)are secured,as the compromise of such devices can have significant consequences(e.g.,life-threatening risks to COVID-19 patients).Hence,in this paper we comprehensively survey existing IoT-related solutions,potential security and privacy risks and their *** example,we classify existing security and privacy solutions into five categories,namely:authentication and access control solutions,key management and cryptography solutions,blockchain-based solutions,intrusion detection systems,and privacy-preserving *** each category,we identify the associated *** also identify a number of recommendations to inform future research.

Nasicon type,Mg_(0.5+x/2)Si_(2-x)Al_(x)(PO_(4))_(3) was synthesized using citric acid assisted sol-gel *** X-ray diffraction was applied to investigate the effect of extra Mg^(2+)interstitial ion on the phase,unit cell parameters and structure of the *** Mg_(0.625)Si_(1.75)Al_(0.25)(PO_(4))_(3) sample exhibited highest bulk conductivity value of 1.54×10^(−4)S cm^(−1)at ambient *** frequency dependence of theσac of these ceramic electrolytes follows the universal power law variation,σac(ω)=σo+Aωα.The conductivity parameters such as hopping frequencies,charge carrier concentration and mobile ion concentration proved that the increase in conductivity with x was due to the existence of Mg^(2+) interstitial *** experiment results also revealed that the dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreased with *** Mg_(0.625)Si_(1.75)Al_(0.25)(PO_(4))_(3) was found to be electrochemically stable up to 2.51 V at ambient temperature.

Premature ejaculation （PE） is the most common sexual disorder. It affects 20%-30% of adult men; the aetiology of this condition has not yet been elucidated. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability, undesirable effects and improved satisfaction with sexual intercourse with tramadol hydrochloride at different dosages for the treatment of PE. A total of 300 patients who presented with lifelong （primary） PE were included in this study. The study was performed for 28 weeks, in which placebo （starch tablet） was given for 4 weeks, and active ingredient （tramadol hydrochloride） was administered at different therapeutic dosages for 24 weeks. Patients were divided into three equal groups, each consisting of 100 patients. The first group （A） was given tramadol hydrochloride capsule 25 mg. The second group （b） was given tramadol hydrochloride capsule 50 mg. The third group （C） was given tramadol hydrochloride capsule 100 mg. All of the 300 participants included completed the study voluntarily. The age of the patients varied from 25 to 50 years. After the treatment period, the recorded data were collected for each group and analysed. The results showed a highly significant increase in the mean intravaginal ejaculatory latency time （IELT） in all groups compared to baseline data （P〈0.0001）. We concluded that using tramadol hydrochloride at different doses on demand for the treatment of PE is effective, safe and tolerable, with minimal undesirable effects, and approval for this indication should be souRht.

Objectives:To determine the incidence of resistance of Streptococcus(Strep).pneumoniae isolated in our locality to erythromycin,to screen for the two resistance determinants erm(b) and mef(A) genes,and to identify the susceptibility profile to commonly used ***:Samples were collected from patients attending the Outpatient Department of Zagazig University Hospital,Zagazig,Egypt,between February 2006 and March *** was identified by conventional *** to erythromycin and 15 antibiotics were identified by disc diffusion method,as outlined by CLSI.E-test was used for MIC determination of ***(b) and mef(A) genes were detected by ***:Eighty-one Strep. pneumoniae strains were ***- one of them(63%) were erythromycin-resistant,and mef(A) gene was the predominant resistance ***,imipenem and gatifloxacin had the best activity against the isolates,whereas tetracycline had the ***-two(51.85%) out of the 81 *** strains were ***:High incidence of resistance to erythromycin and multiple antimicrobials ***(A) was the principal erythromycin-resistance gene.

AIM:To demonstrate the therapeutic effect of probiotics in patients with ulcerative colitis(UC),and their effect on inflammatory mediators and nuclear factor(NF)κb activation in these ***:Thirty patients with mild to moderate UC were randomly classified into two groups:sulfasalazine group,who received sulfasalazine 2400 mg/d;and probiotic group,who received sulfasalazine 2400 mg/d with *** patients were investigated before and after 8 wk of treatment with probiotic(Lactobacillus delbruekii and Lactobacillus fermentum).Colonic activity of myeloperoxidase(MPO)was assayed with UV spectrophotometry,the colonic content of interleukin(IL)-6 was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),fecal calprotectin was determined by ELISA,and expression of NF-κb p65 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-αproteins in colonic tissue was identified by immunohistochemistry and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction,***:At the start of the study,colonic mucosal injury and inflammation were demonstrated in UC patients by hematoxylin and eosin staining,and an increase in colonic MPO activity,fecal calprotectin,and expression of colonic TNF-αand NF-κb p65 *** use of probiotic for 8 wk significantly ameliorated the inflammation by decreasing the colonic concentration of IL-6,expression of TNF-αand NF-κb p65,leukocyte recruitment,as demonstrated by a decrease in colonic MPO activity,and the level of fecal calprotectin compared to sulfasalazine group and the control group(Pbiotics could be helpful in maintaining remission and preventing relapse of UC.

Transient cavities generated from unsteady leading-edge cavitation may undergo aggressive collapses which are responsible for cavitation *** this paper,we studied the hydrodynamic mechanisms of these events in the leading edge cavitation fonned over a modified NACA0009 hydrofoil using experimental and numerical *** the experimental investigation,high-speed visualization(HSV)and paint test are employed to study the behavior of the cavitating flow at σ=1.25,α=5°,U∞=20 m/*** the numerical part,the same cavitating flow is simulated using an inviscid density-based compressible solver with a barotropic cavitation *** numerical results are first compared with the experimental HSV to show that the simulation is able to reproduce the main features of the cavitating ***,as the compressible solver is capable of capturing the shock wave upon the collapse of cavities,the location of collapse events with high erosion potential are *** location of these collapse events are compared with the paint test results with a qualitatively good *** is clearly observed,in both the experiments and the numerical simulation,that there exists four distinct regions along the hydrofoil with higher risks of erosion:(1)A very narrow strip at the leading edge,(2)an area of accumulated collapses at around 60 percent of the sheet cavity maximum length,(3)an area around the closure line of the sheet cavity with the highest erosion damage,and(4)a wide area close to the trailing edge with dispersed collapse events.A combined analysis of the experimental and numerical results reveals that the small-scale structures generated by secondary shedding are more aggressive than the large-scale cloud cavities(primary shedding).It is also observed that the high risk of cavitation erosion in regions 2 and 3 is mainly due to the collapses of the small cavity structures that are formed around the sheet cavity closure line or the rolling cloud cavity.

Microbial infections cause complicated health influences along with bad economic *** the present investigation,three dominant seaweeds namely,Amphiroa anceps,Corallina officinalis and Sargassum filipendula were collected from different Egyptian sites at the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea during autumn *** extracts of the three algae were screened for their antibacterial activity against three pathogenic bacteria Salmonella typhiimurium,Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli,in addition to in vitro antiviral activity against Rotavirus(RV),and Coxsackie virus b3(CVb3)that cause severe diseases in *** extract of ***,*** and *** inhibit *** cells by 57.1%,85.7%,and 91.4%,*** highest level of concentration of the *** extract(100μg/mL)inhibits 100%of Staphylococcus aureus cells followed by *** and *** extract which inhibit 82.5%and 75%of ***,the highest concentration of *** extract inhibits *** by 80%.The extract of *** exhibited a high antiviral effect against RV infection with TI=22 and virus titers lessened by 2.75 log TCID_(50) followed by extractions of *** with TI=18.3 and virus titers reduced by 2.5 log TCID_(50).Against CVb3 infection,the extract of *** causes the highest antiviral activity with TI=15 and reduce the viral titers by 2.5 log TCID_(50),followed by extractions of *** with TI=8.8 and inhibition of virus titers by 1.75 log TCID_(50).Extract of *** displayed the lowest antiviral effects against RV and CVb3 infection with TI=2.4 and 1.4,*** obtained results clarified that the extract of three marine seaweeds maintains a potent antimicrobial activity,making them a future promising source of new antimicrobial drugs.
