Background Wooden breast(WB)myopathy is a common myopathy found in commercial broiler chickens *** examination has revealed that WB myopathy is accompanied by damage to the pectoralis major(PM)***,the underlying mechanisms responsible for the formation of WB in broilers have not been fully *** study aimed to investigate the potential role of hypoxia-mediated programmed cell death(PCD)in the formation of WB *** Histological examination and biochemical analysis were performed on the PM muscle of the control(CON)and WB groups.A significantly increased thickness of the breast muscle in the top,middle,and bottom portions(Plin1,AMPKα,and ULK1 at the m RNA and protein levels,were all significantly upregulated(P<0.05),showing that autophagy occurred in the PM muscle of the WB *** apoptotic index,as well as the expressions of Bax,Cytc,caspase 9,and caspase 3,were significantly increased(P<0.05),whereas Bcl-2 was significantly decreased(P<0.05)in the WB-affected PM muscle,indicating the occurrence of apoptosis mediated by the mitochondrial ***,the expressions of necroptosis-related factors RIP1,RIP3,and MLKL,as well as NF-κB and the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α,IL-1β,and IL-6,were all significantly enhanced(P<0.05)in the WB-affected PM *** T

Aiming at the problem of shadow interference in UAV's ground reconnaissance,a color and polarization synergistic target detection method is proposed for anti-shadow interference,based on the influence of two physical characteristics(wavelength and polarization)under different illuminations.A valid fusion strategy is proposed via integrating two separate detection results on color and polarization ***,a local enhancement and recognition module(LER)is introduced to boost the *** on our built dataset,experimental results show that our method achieves mAPof 87.76%,and12.37%higher than that of color image and 14.68%higher than that of polarization image.

Weyl semimetals(WSMs) have recently attracted considerable research attention because of their remarkable optical and electrical properties. In this study, we investigate the near-field radiative heat transfer(NFRHT) between graphene-covered Weyl slabs, particularly focusing on the supported coupled surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs). Unlike bare Weyl slabs where the epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) effect contributes the most to the NFRHT, adding a monolayer graphene sheet yields coupled SPPs, i.e.,the coupling of graphene SPPs(GSPPs) and Weyl SPPs(WSPPs), which dominates the NFRHT. The graphene sheet greatly suppresses the ENZ effect by compressing the parallel wavevector, thereby enabling the heat transfer coefficient(HTC) to be significantly changed. Further, for the graphene-covered magnetic Weyl slab configuration, an increase in the number of Weyl nodes suppresses the SPP coupling and ENZ effect, thereby weakening the NFRHT with a regulation ratio of 4.4 whereas an increase in the Fermi level slightly influences the NFRHT. Several typical heterostructures are also proposed for comparison, and results show that a mono-cell structure has the largest total HTC. Our findings will facilitate the understanding of surface plasmon-coupled radiative heat transfer and enable opportunities in energy harvesting and thermal management at the nanoscale based on WSM-based systems.
