Zirconium terephthalate UiO-66 has aroused great interest in catalysis since it exhibits significant flexibility and compatibility for accommodating a high number of defects as well as exceptional thermal and chemical *** now,many works have focused on the modulations of the Zr6-oxo clusters in UiO-66 in terms of diverse synthesis,advanced characterizations,and their catalytic *** achieve high catalytic efficiency,it is still highly desired for rationally constructing and modulating the Zr6-oxo clusters with exposed catalytic sites and diverse microenvironments for advanced *** this review,we provide a comprehensive summary of recent progress on the synthesis of defective UiO-66,qualitative and quantitative characterizations,as well as a logical overview of heterogeneous catalytic applications over the past few ***,the outlooks for the research paradigm of defective UiO-66 are discussed.

A widespread and prolonged hot extreme hit the y.ngtze River basin in summer 2022,with 300 sites established new temperature records and nearly 96%stations endured more than 40 hot *** the perspective of the combination effect of the global warming and La Nina condition,potential mechanisms of the hot extreme were *** a record-breaking hot extreme was caused by an extremely strong and westward-shifted western Pacific subtropical high(WPSH).The global warming effect contributed primarily to the abnormal hot days in the y.ngtze River basin,coupled with the modulation of the La Nina *** sea surface temperature anomaly pattern under La Nina condition favored more convection activities over the western Pacific,encouraging an enhanced and westward-extended *** addition,an observation-based attribution analysis indicates that anthropogenic warming may increase the probability of such extensively persistent hot extremeby1.8 times.

In this paper,promising but simple schemes are investigated to enhance the micro-bunching of relativistic electron beams for coherent harmonic generation(CHG)by using phase merging *** contrast to the standard CHG scheme,two specially designed dispersion sections(DSs)are adopted with the DS-modulator–DS *** phase space of the e beam is appropriately coupled in the first DS,and the electrons within one seed wavelength can merge to the same phase with a matched second ***-bunching of the e beam can thus be enhanced by a large margin with much higher-harmonic *** e beams from laser wakefield accelerators(LWFAs)as an example,start-to-end simulations are performed to show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed schemes with several *** beam current can be optimized to several tens to hundreds of kiloamperes,and the radiation power reaches hundreds of megawatts in the extreme ultraviolet regime within a 3.5 m-long *** proposed schemes offer new opportunities for future compact free-electron lasers driven by LWFAs and provides prospects for truly compact and widely applicable systems.

Fabrication of AZ31/Mg3y Composites with Excellent Strength and Plasticity via Accumulated Rolling Bonding and Diffusion Annealing

AZ31/Mg3y composites with a layer thickness of 100-200μm were fabricated by accumulated rolling bonding(ARB),which was followed by diffusion annealing at 300℃ for 0-32 *** interface layer,containing numerous Al-y precipitates,is formed in the Mg3y layer that is adjacent to the interface as a result of Al diffusing from the AZ31 layers into the Mg3y *** thickness of the interface layer gets increased and more precipitates are formed in the interface layer with the extension of the annealing *** microhardness of the AZ31 and Mg3y layer decreases firstly and then reaches a stable value,while the microhardness of the interface layer increases gradually with the extension of the annealing *** AZ31/Mg3y composites exhibit equivalent strength but increased ductility after diffusion annealing,in comparison to the as-rolled AZ31/Mg3y *** addition,the AZ31/Mg3y composites after annealing always present higher strength and ductility than AZ31/AZ31 composite,which was fabricated by the same process as that for the AZ31/Mg3y ***-deformation induced strengthening also plays an important role in the excellent strength and ductility of the annealed AZ31/Mg3y *** study can provide a direction for improving the plasticity and strength of magnesium alloys synergistically.

Background: Biliary mucinous cystic neoplasms(BMCNs) are rare hepatobiliary cystic tumors, which can be divided into noninvasive and invasive types. This study aimed to investigate the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of BMCNs in a large single center. Methods: We analyzed 49 patients with BMCNs confirmed by postoperative pathology at the First Afflliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine between January 2007 and December 2021. Results: Among the 49 patients, 37 were female(75.5%), and the average age was 57.04 years. Common symptoms included abdominal discomfort, jaundice and fever, while 22 patients(44.9%) had no symptoms. Serum carbohydrate antigen(CA) 19-9 and CA125 concentrations were elevated in 34.8% and 19.6% of patients, respectively. Forty-eight patients had tumors in the intrahepatic bile ducts and only one had a tumor in the extrahepatic bile duct. Forty-eight patients with noninvasive intrahepatic BMCNs were further analyzed in terms of pathological features: 34(70.8%) had low-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(LGINs), and 14(29.2%) had high-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(HGINs). The potential immunohistochemical markers of BMCNs were cytokeratin(CK) 19, CK7, estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor. Follow-up data for 37 patients with intrahepatic BMCNs were obtained. The median overall survival(OS) of BMCNs was not reached. The longest survival time was 137 *** 5-and 10-year OS rates were 100% and 85.4%, respectively. The 5-and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS) rates were 93.9% and 80.2%, respectively. Conclusions: BMCNs are rare cystic neoplasms that commonly occur in middle-aged females. BMCNs can only be diagnosed and classified by postoperative pathology, as there are no specific clinical presentations, serological indicators or imaging modalities for preoperative diagnosis. Complete surgical resection is necessary for BMCNs, and the postoperative prognosis is favorable.

Ruthenium(Ru)is an attractive potential alternative to platinum as an electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),in virtue of its high catalytic selectivity and relatively low *** this work,a series of well-dispersed nitrogen-coordinated Ru-clusters on carbon black(Ru_(x)N_(y)/C)were prepared by pyrolyzing different Ru-containing sandwich compounds as the Ru *** higher thermal stability of these complexed sandwich precursors(bis(1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)Ru(II)monomer,dichloro(p-cymene)Ru(II)dimer,and chloro(1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)Ru(II)tetramer)affords the control of coordinated state for the resulting Ru-clusters,in comparison of that derived from ruthenium *** the pyrolysis treatment,the Ru coordinated state in Ru_(x)N_(y)/C,with the Ru–N and Ru–Ru bonds,still showed the structural inheritance from the Ru(II)monomer,dimer,and tetramer,but using ruthenium chlorides as the Ru source resulted in the nanoscale Ru *** ORR testing exhibited that the Ru_(x)N_(y)/C sample derived from the Ru(II)tetramer(Ru_(x)N_(y)/C-T)presents the higher catalytic activity than the other obtained samples in either alkaline or acidic *** in the acidic electrolyte,Ru_(x)N_(y)/C-T shows the comparable ORR activity to that of Pt/C catalysts,and it shows the superior tolerance against methanol and *** X-ray absorption spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations demonstrate that these tetra-nuclear Ru-clusters could be the most active site due to their broadened d-orbital bands and lower energy d-band center than those of other subnano species and nanocrystals,and their favorable yeager-type adsorption of O_(2)-molecules is also contributed to promoting O–O bond cleavage and accelerating the ORR process.

In order to further promote the application of SiC refractories in modern steel metallurgy,the occurrence forms and formation mechanism of impurities in SiC crystals smelted by Acheson process were *** techniques of inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry,X-ray diffraction,and scanning electron microscopy were combined to examine the types and occurrence forms of impurities in smelted SiC *** results showed that the main impurities in the SiC are free Si,free C,oxides(CaO·Al_(2)O_(3)·2SiO_(2),3Al_(2)O_(3)·2SiO_(2),CaO·SiO_(2) and SiO_(2))and alloy phases(Fe_(x)Si_(y),Fe_(x)Si_(y)Ti_(z) and Fe_(x)Al_(y)Si_(z)).The formation process of impurities during the smelting of SiC can be described as follows:At high temperature,the SiO_(2) and Fe,Ti related oxide impurities present in the raw materials are reduced to Si,Fe,and Ti metal *** the reduction process,the free Si,Fe_(x)Si_(y) and Fe_(x)Si_(y)Ti_(z) are precipitated from the melt during *** Si primarily exists in aggregated form within the SiC crystal,while the alloy phase is predominantly found at the interface between SiC and free Si,with Fe_(x)Si_(y)Ti_(z) embedded within *** the end of the cooling process,other impurity oxides such as Al_(2)O_(3),CaO,and some unreduced SiO_(2) solidify to form calcium-aluminum-silicate glass phases,predominantly located between SiC *** remaining C from the reaction is mainly dispersed as free C within the SiC crystal and at the interface between SiC and free Si.
