The intrusion of the Kuroshio into the East China Sea(ECS)aff ects the development of hypoxia off the Changjiang(Yangtze)River estuary;however,quantitative analysis of its impacts is *** this study,the Regional Ocean Modeling Systems(ROMS)model coupled with the Carbon,Silicate and Nitrogen Ecosystem(CoSiNE)model was used to investigate the relative importance of dissolved oxygen(DO)and diff erent nutrients(silicate,nitrate,and phosphate)in the Kuroshio on hypoxia in the *** show that changes in DO concentrations in the Kuroshio modify the distribution and intensity of hypoxia through direct onshore transport by hydrodynamic *** increase in Kuroshio DO concentration by 25%or 50%would result in a decrease of the maximum hypoxia extent(MHE)in the ECS by 76%or 86%,respectively,while a 25%decrease in Kuroshio DO would increase the MHE by up to 219%.The contribution of DO in the Taiwan Strait is almost *** contrast to Kuroshio DO,nutrients aff ect hypoxia in the ECS through onshore transport by hydrodynamic and biochemical *** in phosphate and nitrate concentrations by 25%in the Kuroshio would change the MHE by up to 30%and 18%,respectively,accompanied by apparent changes in surface chlorophyll-a *** eff ect of silicate on hypoxia is negligible because a 25%change in silicate concentrations in the Kuroshio would result in less than 1%change in the *** results reveal a hierarchical rank of importance for environmental variables in the Kuroshio(i.e.,DO>phosphate>nitrate>silicate)in modifying the development of hypoxia in the ECS.

AIM:To evaluate 99mTc-ciprofloxacin scintigraphy compared with computed tomography(CT)for detecting secondary infections associated with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)in ***:Six healthy swine were assigned to a normal control group(group A,n = 6).SAP was induced in group B(n = 9)and C(n = 18),followed by inoculation of the resulting pancreatic necroses with inactive Escherichia coli(***)(group B)and active ***(group C),*** 7 d after inoculation,a CT scan and a series of analyses using infecton imaging(at 0.5,1,2,3,4 and 6 h after the administration of 370 MBq of intravenous infecton)were *** scintigrams were visually evaluated and semi-quantitatively analyzed using region of interest *** differences in infecton uptake and changes in the lesion-background radioactive count ratios(L/B)in the 3 groups were recorded and *** imaging detection,histopathology and bacterial examinations were performed,and infected SAP was regarded as *** imaging findings were compared with histopathological and bacteriological ***:In group A,6 animals survived without infection in the *** group B,7/9 swine survived and one suffered from *** group C,15/18 animals survived with ***,the number of normal,non-infected and infected SAP swine was 6,6 and 16,*** sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the infecton method were 93.8%(15/16),91.7%(11/12),92.9%(26/28),93.8%(15/16)and 91.7%(11/12),whereas these values for CT were 12.5%(2/16),100.0%(12/12),50.0%(14/28),100.0%(2/2)and 46.2%(12/26),*** changes in L/B for the infected SAP were significantly different from those of the non-infected and normal swine(P < 0.001).The mean L/B of the infectious foci at 0.5,1,2,3,4 and 6 h was 1.17 ± 0.10,1.71 ± 0.30,2.46 ± 0.45,3.36 ± 0.33,2.04 ± 0.37 and 1.1988 ± 0.09,*** 3 h,the radioactive counts(2350.25 ± 602.35

Land-use and land-cover change(LUCC)simulations are powerful tools for evaluating and predicting future landscape dynamics amid rapid human-nature interactions to support ***,existing models often overlook spatial heterogeneity and temporal dependencies when modeling LUCC at both the macro and *** this paper,we propose a new model,a self-calibrated convolutional neural network-based cellular automata(SC–CNN–CA)model,which integrates macro-and microspatial characteristics to simulate complex interactions among land-use *** SC-CNN-CA model incorporates a self-calibration module using Gaussian functions to capture macrotrend such as urban sprawl while accounting for microlevel land-use interactions such as neighborhood *** results indicated that(1)the neighborhood effect between agricultural land and urban land tended to“increase followed by a decrease.”(2)Urban sprawl in Wuhan was highly compact,with a relatively high intensity of urban expansion at distances between 11.96 km and 24.44 km.(3)Compared with the other CA models tested,the SC-CNN-CA model demonstrated superior performance,achieving an overall accuracy of 84.12% and a figure of merit of 20.20%.This new model can enhance our understanding of historical LUCC trajectories and improve predictions of spatially explicit information for efficient land resource and urban management.

Potassium-based energy storage devices(PEDS)are considered as hopeful candidates for energy storage applications because of the abundant potassium resources in nature and high mobility in the *** carbon materials show great potential for potassium-ion storage,poor rate performance,and unsatisfactory cycle lifespan in existing carbon-based PIBs anode,it also cannot match the dynamics and stability of the capacitor *** doping has been proven to be a effective modification strategy to improve the electrochemical performance of carbon ***,we prepare carbon nanofibers and g-C_(3)N_(4)composites with high nitrogen contents(19.78 at%);moreover,the sum of pyrrolic N and pyridinic N is up to 59.51%.It achieves high discharge capacity(391 m Ah g^(-1)at0.05 A g^(-1)),rate capacity(141 m Ah g^(-1)at 2 A g^(-1)),and long cycling performance(201 m Ah g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)over 3000 cycles)when as an anode for ***,it can deliver promising discharge capacity of132 m Ah g^(-1)at 0℃.Moreover,as battery anode for potassium-ion hybrid capacitors(PIHC)device with an active carbon cathode,it delivers energy/power density(62 and 2102 W kg^(-1))as well as high reversible capacity(106 m Ah g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)).

Novel Phenomenon on Valence Unvariation of Doping Ion in Yb:YAG Transparent Ceramics Using MgO Additives

Yb：YAG nanopowders were synthesized by the alcohol-water co-precipitatlon method adding MgO as sintering additives. Appropriate amount of MgO adding can restrict the agglomeration and reduce the particle size of Yb：YAG powders. When the MgO content was 0.04wt%, well-dispersed Yb：YAG powders with ellipsoidal particles of less than 100 nm diameter were obtained. The experimental results showed the valence variation of doping ion Yb〉 would not appear when adding MgO as sintering additives, so ceramics showed colorless transparent instead of green due to Yb^2＋ color center using traditional SiO2 as additives. The transmission of the sintered Yb：YAG ceramics can reach 80.6% even without annealing. Ceramic morphology showed that the grains had uniform-distribution with the size of 10 iam or so, and no impurity and pore existed in the grain boundary and crystalline while using optimal sintering conditions.

A high strength structure steel plate --brand jg785E, which with more than 690MPa yield strength ,more than 47 joules toughness at minus 40℃ has been developed by Jigang of Shandong Steel Group P. R. China. The steel plates can be easily welded in engineering structure due to its lower carbon equivalent value. The maximum thickness of heavy plate is 50.88mm (2 inch), the yield strength is 710-860MPa, the toughness of steel plate is 139~336J at the temperature of - 40℃ . The microstructure of steel plate is lower carbon Bainite. The main solid dissolve elements are silicon and manganese. All parameters of reheating, rolling and accelerating cooling are controlled strictly. This TMCP procedure can ensure to get better mechanical properties of steel plates, and to keep the market competitive power and lower cost of manufacture. The cleanness of steel is high by refined in ladle furnace (LF), the contents of P and S is lower. It is the low carbon Bainite microstructure that possesses the high strength, excellent lower temperature toughness and better weld-ability without preheat process. The jg785E is typical brand of the Jigang’s high strength steel brands as the S690QL conforms to EN10025-6 and as the ASTM A514M conforms to USA quenching and tempering steel specification.

Purification and Characterization of a New Heme-Binding （HBP59） from the Mutant Strain DJ35 of Azotobacter vinelandii

A new protein, an approximately 59-kDa monomer containing iron atoms, was first isolated from the mutant strain DJ35 of Azotobacter vinelandii Llpmann. After analysis by matrix-assisted laser desorptlon ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry, the protein was Identified as the product of a predicted gene. Thus, the protein was tentatively called HBP59. Its absorption spectra （ABS） In the reduced state exhibited three peaks at 421,517, and 556 nm and the maximal peak was shifted from 421 to 413 nm after exposure of HBP59 to air. The Soret circular dichrolsm （CD） spectrum of HBP59 In the reduced state displayed four positive peaks at 364, 382, 406, and 418 nm and two negative peaks at 398 and 433 nm; the △ε （CD extinction coefficient） values of these peaks were found to be 0.92, 0.58, 0.87, 0.72, -0.65 and -1.12 L/mol per cm, respectively. Titration with heme showed that the protein has 0.1 heme molecules/protein molecule. After HBP59 had fully Interacted with heme, Its maximal ABS value and Soret CD Intensity were increased by approximately 10-fold compared with values before Interaction. Therefore, It seems that one molecule of HBP59 can be interacted with only one heme. These results indicate that HBP59 contains heme with low spin and may be Involved In heme utilization or adhesion.
