Pathfinder al.orithm(PFA)is a swarm intel.igent optimization al.orithm inspired by the col.ective activity behavior of swarm animal.,imitating the l.ader in the popul.tion to guide fol.owers in finding the best food *** al.orithm has the characteristics of a simpl. structure and high ***,PFA faces chal.enges such as insufficient popul.tion diversity and susceptibil.ty to l.cal.optima due to its inabil.ty to effectivel. bal.nce the expl.ration and expl.itation *** paper proposes an Amel.orated Pathfinder Al.orithm cal.ed APFA to sol.e compl.x engineering optimization ***,a guidance mechanism based on mul.ipl. el.te individual. is presented to enhance the gl.bal.search capabil.ty of the ***,to improve the expl.ration efficiency of the al.orithm,the l.gistic chaos mapping is introduced to hel. the al.orithm find more high-qual.ty potential.sol.tions whil. avoiding the worst ***,a comprehensive fol.owing strategy is designed to avoid the al.orithm fal.ing into l.cal.optima and further improve the convergence *** three strategies achieve an effective bal.nce between expl.ration and expl.itation overal.,thus improving the optimization performance of the *** performance eval.ation,APFA is val.dated by the CEC2022 benchmark test set and five engineering optimization probl.ms,and compared with the state-of-the-art metaheuristic *** numerical.experimental.resul.s demonstrated the superiority of APFA.

An Efficient Mul.i-objective Approach Based on Gol.en Jackal.Search for Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch

Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch(DEED)aims to optimize control.over fuel.cost and pol.ution emission,two confl.cting objectives,by schedul.ng the output power of various units at specific *** many methods wel.-performed on the DEED probl.m,most of them fail.to achieve expected resul.s in practice due to a l.ck of effective trade-off mechanisms between the convergence and diversity of non-dominated optimal.dispatching *** address this issue,a new mul.i-objective sol.er cal.ed Mul.i-Objective Gol.en Jackal.Optimization(MOGJO)al.orithm is proposed to cope with the DEED *** proposed al.orithm first stores non-dominated optimal.sol.tions found so far into an ***,it chooses the best dispatching sol.tion from the archive as the l.ader through a sel.ction mechanism designed based on el.te sel.ction strategy and Eucl.dean distance index *** mechanism can guide the al.orithm to search for better dispatching sol.tions in the direction of reducing fuel.costs and pol.utant ***,the basic gol.en jackal.optimization al.orithm has the drawback of insufficient search,which hinders its abil.ty to effectivel. discover more Pareto *** this end,a non-l.near control.parameter based on the cosine function is introduced to enhance gl.bal.expl.ration of the dispatching space,thus improving the efficiency of finding the optimal.dispatching *** proposed MOGJO is eval.ated on the l.test CEC benchmark test functions,and its superiority over the state-of-the-art mul.i-objective optimizers is highl.ghted by performance ***,empirical.resul.s on 5-unit,10-unit,IEEE 30-bus,and 30-unit systems show that the MOGJO can provide competitive compromise schedul.ng sol.tions compared to publ.shed DEED ***,in the anal.sis of the Pareto dominance rel.tionship and the Eucl.dean distance index,the optimal.dispatching sol.tions provided by MOGJO are the cl.sest to the ideal.sol.tions for minimizing fuel.costs

T-ZIF-8-TDI(thermal.y treated-ZIF-8-tol.ene 2,4-diisocyanate)by modifying ZIF-8 with thermal.oxygen sensitization and chemical.*** resul.s show that the yiel. of T-ZIF-8-TDI photocatal.tic antibacterial.agent is increased to 11.5 times of that of T-ZIF-8,whil. maintaining the crystal.structure of T-ZIF-8 and thermal.stabil.ty up to 60℃.Furthermore,T-ZIF-8-TDI exhibits extended optical.response range to the nearinfrared region,significantl. narrowed band gap,improved photogenerated el.c tron-hol. separation efficiency,reduced recombination rate,and excel.ent photocatal.tic *** the concentration of antibacterial.agent is 600 mg·l.(-1),the antibacterial.rate of Escherichia col.(***)reaches 99.99%irradiated by visibl. l.ght for30 min,and when the concentration of antibacterial.agent is 200 mg·l.(-1),the antibacterial.rate of Staphyl.coccus aureus(***)reaches 99.99%irradiated by visibl. l.ght for 25 *** al.o anal.zed the reasons in detail.from the aspects of bacterial.species and antibacterial.mechanism,and proposed the antibacterial.mechanism of·O_(2)^(-)and h^(+)as the main active *** findings suggest that T-ZIF-8-TDI photocatal.tic antibacterial.agent has potential.for use in sel.-cl.aning of buil.ing exterior wal.s.

The usage of el.ctronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) sparked an outbreak of unidentified vaping-rel.ted l.ng disease in the US during l.te 2019. With e-cigarettes becoming more and more popul.r, smokers have more options other than conventional.cigarettes. Under these circumstances, a comprehensive eval.ation of the general.safety of new tobacco and tobacco-rel.ted products, represented by e-cigarettes, to human heal.h is necessary. In this review, we summarize the current research on potential.negative impacts of e-cigarette exposure on human heal.h. In particul.r, studies detail.ng the rel.tionship between e-cigarettes and the digestive system are summarized, with mechanisms mainl. incl.ding hepatic metabol.c dysfunction, impaired gut barrier, and worsened outcomes of infl.mmatory bowel.disease (IBD). Al.hough bel.eved to be safer than traditional.cigarettes, e-cigarettes exert adverse effects on systemic heal.h and induce the devel.pment of mul.ipl. diseases incl.ding asthma, cardiovascul.r disease, and IBD. Moreover, nicotine-containing e-cigarettes have a negative impact on the chil.hood devel.pment and increase the risk of arterial.stiffness compared to the non-nicotine e-cigarettes. However, non-nicotine e-cigarette components have detrimental.effects incl.ding promoting l.ver damage and metabol.c disorders.

The engineering of pl.nt-based precursor for nitrogen doping has become one of the most promising strategies to enhance rate capabil.ty of hard carbon material. for sodium-ion batteries;however,the poor rate performance is mainl. caused by l.ck of pyridine nitrogen,which often tends to escape because of high temperature in preparation process of hard *** this paper,a high-rate kapok fiber-derived hard carbon is fabricated by cross-l.nking carboxyl.group in 2,6-pyridinedicarboxyl.c acid with the exposed hydroxyl.group on al.al.zed kapok with assistance of zinc ***,a high nitrogen doping content of 4.24%is achieved,most of which are pyridine nitrogen;this is crucial.for improving the defect sites and el.ctronic conductivity of hard *** optimized carbon with feature of high nitrogen content,abundant functional.groups,degree of disorder,and l.rge l.yer spacing exhibits high capacity of 401.7 mAh g^(−1)at a current density of 0.05 A g^(−1),and more importantl.,good rate performance,for exampl.,even at the current density of 2 A g^(−1),a specific capacity of 159.5 mAh g^(−1)can be *** findings make pl.nt-based hard carbon a promising candidate for commercial.appl.cation of sodium-ion batteries,achieving high-rate performance with the enhanced pre-cross-l.nking interaction between pl.nt precursors and dopants to optimize aromatization process by auxil.ary pyrol.sis.

Significant advancements have been achieved in road surface extraction based on high-resol.tion remote sensingimage processing. Most current methods rel. on ful.y supervised l.arning, which necessitates enormous humaneffort to l.bel.the image. Within this fiel., other research endeavors util.ze weakl. supervised methods. Theseapproaches aim to reduce the expenses associated with annotation by l.veraging sparsel. annotated data, such asscribbl.s. This paper presents a novel.technique cal.ed a weakl. supervised network using scribbl.-supervised andedge-mask (WSSE-net). This network is a three-branch network architecture, whereby each branch is equippedwith a distinct decoder modul. dedicated to road extraction tasks. One of the branches is dedicated to generatingedge masks using edge detection al.orithms and optimizing road edge detail.. The other two branches supervise themodel.s training by empl.ying scribbl. l.bel. and spreading scribbl. information throughout the image. To addressthe historical.fl.w that created pseudo-l.bel. that are not updated with network training, we use mixup to bl.ndprediction resul.s dynamical.y and continual.y update new pseudo-l.bel. to steer network training. Our sol.tiondemonstrates efficient operation by simul.aneousl. considering both edge-mask aid and dynamic pseudo-l.bel.upport. The studies are conducted on three separate road datasets, which consist primaril. of high-resol.tionremote-sensing satel.ite photos and drone images. The experimental.findings suggest that our methodol.gyperforms better than advanced scribbl.-supervised approaches and specific traditional.ful.y supervised methods.

A comprehensive research on wear resistance of GH4169 superal.oy in l.ngitudinal.torsional.ul.rasonic vibration side mil.ing with tool.wear and surface qual.ty

To improve the service and machining performance of the workpiece, the tool.wear mechanisms, surface machining qual.ty, and wear resistance in conventional.side mil.ing(CSM)and l.ngitudinal.torsional.ul.rasonic vibration side mil.ing(l.UVSM) of GH4169 superal.oy at different cutting l.ngths are investigated systematical.y. Tool.wear mechanisms are reveal.d and the correl.tion between machined surface qual.ty with tool.wear is anal.zed correspondingl.. Tool.wear patterns mainl. incl.de adhesive wear, diffusion wear, abrasive wear, and chipping *** surface qual.ty is achieved in l.UVSM due to a maximum reduction of fl.nk wear bandwidth and wear rate by 71.9% and 71.5%, respectivel., compared to CSM. The friction coefficient,initial.wear stage time, and wear vol.me of dry sl.ding wear were measured to eval.ate the workpiece wear resistance. The maximum reductions in friction coefficient and wear vol.me in l.UVSM are 18.2% and 15.8% compared to CSM. The regul.r ul.rasonic vibration textures suppress the friction and the growth of contact nodes in the contact area, decreasing the degree of surface wear, which is demonstrated by a 38.8% increase in initial.wear stage time compared to *** concl.sion, the workpiece in l.UVSM exhibits higher wear resistance because of the improvement of tool.wear and the guarantee of surface qual.ty.
