Loss of synapse and functional connectivity in brain circuits is associated with aging and neurodegeneration,however,few molecular mechanisms are known to intrinsically promote synaptogenesis or enhance synapse *** have previously shown that MET receptor tyrosine kinase in the developing cortical circuits promotes dendritic growth and dendritic spine *** investigate whether enhancing MET in adult cortex has synapse regenerating potential,we created a knockin mouse line,in which the human MET gene expression and signaling can be turned on in adult(10–12 months)cortical neurons through doxycycline-containing *** found that similar to the developing brain,turning on MET signaling in the adult cortex activates small GTPases and increases spine density in prefrontal projection *** findings are further corroborated by increased synaptic activity and transient generation of immature silent *** MET signaling resulted in an increasedα-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid/N-methyl-Daspartate(AMPA/NMDA)receptor current ratio,indicative of enhanced synaptic function and *** data reveal that enhancing MET signaling could be an interventional approach to promote synaptogenesis and preserve functional connectivity in the adult *** findings may have implications for regenerative therapy in aging and neurodegeneration conditions.

Stochastic differential equation (SDE)-based random process models of renewable energy sources (RESs) jointly capture evolving probability distribution and temporal correlation in continuous time. It enabled recent studies to remarkably improve performance of power system dynamic uncertainty quantification and optimization. However, considering the non-homogeneous random process nature of PV, there still remains a challenging question: how can a realistic and accurate daily SDE model for PV power be obtained that reflects its weather-dependent and non-Gaussian uncertainty in operation, especially when high-resolution numerical weather prediction (NWP) or sky imager is unavailable for many distributed plants? To fill this gap, this article finds that an accurate SDE model for PV power can be constructed only using the data from low-resolution public weather reports. Specifically, for each day, an hourly parameterized Jacobi diffusion process recreates temporal patterns of PV volatility. Its parameters are mapped from the day's public weather reports to reflect varying weather conditions using a simple learning model. The SDE model jointly captures intraday and intrahour volatility. Statistical examination shows that the proposed approach outperforms a selection of the latest deep learning-based time series models on real-world data collected in Macao.

Microbial communication monitoring is vital for understanding the mechanisms beneath gut microbiota equilibrium, infections,and biomanufacturing. Herein, we reported monitoring bacterial communication by surface-confined persistent ***, we constructed core-shell structured Zn1.4Ga1.2Ge0.4O4@Zn1.4Ga1.2Ge0.4O4:Cr（ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr） persistent luminescence nanoparticles（PLNPs） with amplified FRET efficiency for the detection of azoreductase（AzoR） that participates in bacterial communication. ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr nanoparticles were functionalized with an azo black hole quencher（ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3）. Due to the proximity of surface-confined persistent luminescence with the surface-bound BHQ-3,ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3 exhibited a FRET efficiency up to 1.6 times that of traditional ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3. Further, the specific catalytic reduction of azo bonds in BHQ-3 by bacterial extracellular AzoR recovers the persistent luminescence of ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr. ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3 displayed superior sensitivity and speed in detecting extracellular AzoR over ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3, attributed to its surface-confined persistent luminescence. We found that the peak secretion of AzoR occurs during the exponential growth period of bacteria including S. aureus and E. coli based on the persistent luminescence recovery rate of ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3. Furthermore, ZGGO@ZGGO:Cr-BHQ-3 was used to probe the communication between different bacterial species. R. palustris is a kind of lycopene-production bacteria. We found that the cohabitation of R. palustris and S. putrefaciens boosted both AzoR secretion and lycopene production. Moreover, the secretion and activity of AzoR positively correlated with lycopene production, suggesting that AzoR may participate in the communication between R. palustris and S. putrefaciens to promote lycopene production. This study offers a robust method to enhance PLNP-based biosensing sensitivity and provides a promising strategy for microbial communication monitoring.

0 INTRODUCTION Landslide is one of the most common and serious natural disasters in the world,which causes great damage to social development and people's life and property safety(Wei et al.,2024;Froude and Petley,2018).Landslides are responsible for an average of thousands of deaths and billions of economic losses annually(dai et al.,2023).The study of landslide geomorphology plays a crucial role in many aspects such as landslide formation mechanisms,dynamic process,and prevention and control(Hou et al.,2024;Wang et al.,2024),and provides scientific support for infrastructure construction,road route selection,and urban land planning(Vargas-Cuervo et al.,2024;Laimer,2017).Therefore,it is essential to gain a better understanding of those roles and to further contribute to disaster prevention and reduction.

热驱蠕爬（也称蠕爬，Migration）是指摩擦副界面油液不受外力作用，从高温区向低温区定向铺展的行为.在空间机构及精密仪器的滚动轴承中，润滑油蠕爬流失将导致摩擦阻力增大，进而影响机构的运行精度.由于摩擦和磨损在机械运动中是无法避免的，同时会伴随摩擦生热，而摩擦生热会引起摩擦副表面产生温度梯度，而运动副在空间极端工况下，液体润滑剂易受表面张力的影响，极小的温度梯度就会引起润滑剂的蠕爬流失.在现代机械工业领域，油液蠕爬流失问题常见于轴承中，工作时轴承滚道的温度较高，导致润滑剂向温度较低的滚道外围区域蠕爬流失，大大缩减了轴承寿命，导致机械设备润滑故障，降低了生产效率.对此，本文中以GCr15和Si3N4等典型滚动轴承球与304不锈钢平面构成的点-面接触摩擦副为研究对象，探索了温度梯度和界面运动协同作用下油液热驱蠕爬行为与润滑特性，研究了水平和竖直温度梯度作用下，干摩擦、硅油润滑以及引入不同方向温度梯度后摩擦力的变化规律，分析了滚子直径、滚子材料以及温度梯度方向对摩擦润滑性能的影响.引入了重力因素，探究了重力方向与温度梯度方向相同/相反条件下摩擦力的变化规律并观测了摩擦运动过程中接触角的变化规律.研究结果表明：在相同的试验条件下，不同直径的球摩擦力变化规律一致；当温度梯度垂直/平行于运动方向以及竖直时，会导致往返运动过程中摩擦力变化不一致，出现“对称”与“不对称”现象；当温度梯度方向与重力方向相同时，会加速硅油的热驱蠕爬；而当温度梯度方向与重力方向相反时，会对硅油的热驱蠕爬起到一定的抑制作用，进一步分析了热驱蠕爬方向对摩擦力的影响规律和接触角的变化规律.揭示了温度-速度场协同作用下界面热驱蠕爬与摩擦学行为差异产生的机制.论文的研究成果有望为空间机构和精密仪器等特殊工况下的持久定区域润滑设计提供参考，有望为复杂机械设备实现小型化、高效化以及提高设备可靠性等方面提供重要支撑，对提升航空航天高端装备设计水平有一定的借鉴意义.

A fourth-order three-stage symplectic integrator similar to the second-order Störmer–Verlet method has been proposed and used before[***.28(2011)070201;*** 126(2011)73].Continuing the work initiated in the publications,we investigate the numerical performance of the integrator applied to a one-dimensional wave equation,which is expressed as a discrete Hamiltonian system with a fourth-order central difference approximation to a second-order partial derivative with respect to the space *** is shown that the Störmer–Verlet-like scheme has a larger numerical stable zone than either the Störmer–Verlet method or the fourth-order Forest–Ruth symplectic algorithm,and its numerical errors in the discrete Hamiltonian and numerical solution are also smaller.

17α-羟化酶缺乏症(17-OHD)是先天性肾上腺皮质增生症(CAH)中的一种罕见类型,约占CAH的1%,其患病率为1∶50000。本文报道了1例疑似17-OHD患者,通过外显子测序鉴定了1个类固醇生成酶基因CYP17A1的基因突变,结合临床表现、体格检查、肾上腺和性腺功能检查等,最终将其明确诊断为CAH并给予规范治疗。故结合该病例,本文回顾总结了17-OHD的鉴别和诊断,以期提高临床对该病的认识,促进临床对17-OHD的规范诊治,为17-OHD的诊断和治疗提供更多的参考资料。
